The nursery setting is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is (apparently) delicious.
My oldest child also attended this nursery so when it was time for my youngest to start, there was no other choice.

Treetops is an excellent nursery. My little girl has been at the nursery since being a hippo and is now a clever croc. She absolutely loves it here and has thrived and has come out of her shell since she's been here. I personally think this is down to the excellent and friendly staff, whom can really
do no wrong. They are always full of smiles and are very welcoming.
I for one, am very happy with the nursery and am thankful for all they have done to help my little girl thrive. I personally love the security of the nursery too.

The team in Belper provide a wonderful learning experience for my little boy. They are warm and friendly with a genuine love of the children in their care. My son who has been attending since he was a baby has enjoyed every stage and transitioned well. A wonderful nursery!

We've had such a great experience at Treetops with both our children. My son really thrived in hippos, he looks forward tot his visits to nursery and is really fond of the girls that look after him. They go above and beyond for the children and this shows through in the relationship that they build
with them. Would definitely recommend to others.

I cannot express enough just how marvellous this nursery is. We looked at many different childcare providers for our son, but this outshone all others, It was a harrowing thought to leave my two year old for the first time but the manager was really hands on and her excellent team made the transition
so easy and personal to us as parents and even after all this time, they still make us feel like our little boy is totally cherished, nurtured cared for and loved. He absolutely loves it.

My little boy has attended this nursery since he was 11 months old and he's almost 3 now. He absolutely loves going and sometimes I struggle to get him home! The staff are really good with him and spend lots of time with you telling you about how his day has gone and all the things he has been doing.

I cannot recommend Treetops Gibfield Lane highly enough. The care that both my sons have received from all the nursery staff has always been fantastic. The manager is outstanding and very approachable and thoroughly plans for all the children. The food is excellent and as it's a small nursery you really
get the sense that the staff really know and care about each individual child.

Since moving into Happy Hippos my daughter has come on leaps and bounds, her key worker is very good and puts a lot of time and effort in her group of children. She is always learning new things that "Key worker showed her". She has been well supported in her potty training and is overall well supported.
The team in Happy Hippos are fantastic and I have no worries or concerns when I drop her off.

My 4 year old daughter really enjoys her time at nursery. The staff are lovely and friendly and makes my daughter feels at ease on those days where she isn't too sure about me leaving her for the session. She enjoys having her dinner here on a Wednesday. She always comes home and tells me all about

My Grandson has been at the nursery for nearly a year and joined when he was 11 months. In this time he has come on leaps and bounds and I can't fault the care he has. Everyone is so nice and caring and helpful. The nursery has had a refurb which has really brightened it up with lots of new equipment

My son went to Treetops from 9 months old until the week before he left to go to school. All the staff have been amazing and he loved going there. Everyone is so friendly and very helpful. Even the cook will have a chat with you. They work really hard and I would recommend to anyone.

Hi my name is Kaysha and I am the Centre Director here at Belper Gibfield Lane.


I have worked for Busy Bees since 2013, joining here as Nursery Manager in July 2017 and since then I haven't looked back! I thoroughly enjoy each and every day of my career, from making memories for each child to developing my staff's knowledge. One of my most precious highlights from managing our nursery was our Outstanding from OFSTED in June 2018. I am a mum myself and have two children. My son who now attends school attended nursery from the age of 5 months and my daughter who now comes to Gibfield Lane Nursery and herself has been here since 6 months old! I know how daunting it can be to take that step at looking into childcare and thinking about entrusting your most treasured possession into the hands of someone else. I hope that when you come and visit and meet myself and my fantastic staff team all of your worries and concerns will disappear as we will answer any queries you may have for your child starting with us.


I am so very lucky to have a team that is well established and always aim to deliver the highest possible level of childcare and always with a smile. I have an absolute passion to ensure all children are able to access the best possible start in life and to provide them with the outstanding start in life that they all deserve.
