Special thank you to all the staff who really are the heart and soul of Tiddlers, without their hard work it wouldn't be what it is today - a wonderful place for my children and others to learn and grow.

I’m just glad we get to do it all over again with baby number two!

A lovely little nursery, my little girl is a shy character and they’ve helped her grow so much. She loves joining in with all the activities they do and the range of lunches they offer is fantastic. A huge thumbs up from me.

Lovely nursery, great facilities and staff. They have really helped me out recently with extra childcare due to family illness. It’s great that I don’t have to pack nappies, wipes and snacks as they are all provided in the price.

My little boy currently attends Tiddlers Day Nursery and I really couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff are amazing with all the children, keeping them engaged with fun activities and always have a smile and positive attitude. My little boy was born during Covid so really struggled at first with socialising with others. Since being at Tiddlers he has really blossomed and I would say that’s all down to the staff. The nursery has recently undergone changes and experienced a difficult time but it’s lovely to see it bounce back and be even better than before. Their new manager is also brilliant, really friendly and will always go out of her way to help.

The nursery has been through a difficult period with the nursery being closed for a short time, things are back on track now, and the nursery has a lovely new manager who is happy to help with all queries/requests. I can’t fault the nursery or staff at all!

Such a lovely place, staff are so kind and caring. My son has only been there a few months and he is developing so fast that he always comes home with a smile on his face. I would definitely recommend tiddlers nursery.

My daughter has been at Tiddlers Day Nursery since she was nine months old and is now just about to start school in September. I also have a son currently in the baby room. Over the last four years, the nursery has been through some changes, however, the staff have always kept a welcoming family atmosphere for the children. Both my children are always happy to go to nursery and have made some great friends along the way. My daughter's academic, social, emotional and physical skills have developed far beyond what is expected of her age and she has a fantastic sense of self and the world around her, I feel that these are attributes that will stand her in good stead for starting primary school in September. My son is also well supported in the baby room as he begins to explore and develop his gross motor skills. More than all this, however, I wanted my children to have a home away from home when they weren't with me, this is what they have at Tiddlers. They are loved and that is key for me.

When looking for a nursery to put my 15 month old little boy in, I was recommended Tiddlers Day Nursery by a number of friends who had previously and currently use for their children. As soon as I went for a look around, I completely understood why it has such a good reputation. I was made to feel welcome by all of the friendly staff and at ease when leaving my little boy for his first settling-in session. He has been there 6 months now and has progressed a huge amount. The app the nursery use is a great way to keep parents updated and I really like how we can put pictures and updates on of what our child’s interests at home are. Highly recommend Tiddlers, Alfreton!

Fantastic nursery! Outstanding staff who’ve helped my unsociable little boy settle instantly. Beautiful setting with great facilities! My little boy loves it and his development in speech has rapidly progressed! Really great nursery!

My son absolutely loves Tiddlers! He walks in with a smile in the mornings, and the staff are all so kind and attentive. They work closely with me and my husband to make sure that we are all helping my son meet his development goals. Staff are approachable if there are ever any concerns and they help to find the best solution for everyone. I could not ask for a better group of people to care for my little one.

The care that is given to my child is faultless, my youngest child goes to Tiddlers Day Nursery and they made me feel comfortable from the moment she began. The location and set up is absolutely beautiful, the natural and open-ended play and take on learning and development is something very important to me as a parent. Not only do I feel comforted that my child is being cared for, the staff are eager to feedback on the learning and engagement that my child is experiencing. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing nursery with wonderful staff! My daughter started at 10 months old as a covid baby with no experience of anyone other than her parents and she is now absolutely thriving in the 2-3s room. Staff have been incredible. It's lovely to see her building relationships with others and her confidence is improving!

I would like to say a massive thank you to all the Tiddlers team, my child loves nursery. All the staff are friendly and always keep us up to date on our child's development. Big thank you from us all, you're the best.

We cannot recommend Tiddlers enough. We looked at several options after our childminder retired, and Tiddlers was by far the most welcoming environment in the area. They have a large outdoor space including a sheltered area which the children are encouraged to use all day, even in the winter afternoons when it is dark, my husband arrived to find our son and his friends playing with torches outside! (with the supervision of course). They follow our son's interests and plan activities for him. The staff are welcoming and like a family - I know they really care for the children, especially a recent recruit who is on the leadership team. He treats my son like he's his own. Our son never complains when leaving me so I know he must be having fun all day. Any problems, the staff are always keen for our son to be happy and well in the setting. They tell me what he's eaten every day. We used washable nappies and wipes, and this was never a problem for the staff.

My son has been attending Tiddlers Day Nursery since he was two; he started in October 2019. He absolutely loves it. I have never had any issues with staff or anything; all friendly. I’m so glad I chose to send him here; it’s been the best decision I made.

Really friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. My son is very happy and settled here. He has made some good friends. Children are always learning new and exciting things. Staff are brilliant in catering for the individual needs of each child.

Superb nursery. Both of our children love it. All of the staff are amazing throughout the ages and rooms. We’ve never had a single problem and the children love going to the nursery which says it all! Keep up the great work.

We sent our twin girls to Tiddlers in Feb 2020, unfortunately, due to the Covid pandemic hitting in March the nursery temporarily closed but reopened in June and have been really amazing with the service they’ve provided to us and our girls. They love going and have progressed and developed significantly since going to nursery. Personally, I like it because they have small groups of children split by their age and they move into a new group as they get older. At other nurseries, it’s a free for all and an accident waiting to happen. They also have loads of space indoors as well as outdoors again unlike some smaller nurseries that are converted bungalows for example. The staff are amazing and a real credit, they don’t have a high turnover of staff which speaks volumes and the manager is brilliant too. They eat lovely home-cooked meals and generally have a great time. Will recommend them for definite.
