Children 1st Clowne Nursery School

My little boy really enjoys the time he spends there.

Just amazing, lovely staff, happy child, happy parents. The staff are so accommodating and nothing seems too much trouble.

My daughter has been attending since she was 4 months old and I don't know where we would have been without the support of the team at Children 1st @ Clowne. I'm self-employed so I needed to get back to work and knowing my daughter is not only safe but happy is a weight off.

My little one has been attending Children 1st @ Clowne now for around 9 months. What I particularly like about the nursery are the people, the nursery staff in the rooms who look after my little one. They really know him, when he's happy and when he's having a grumpy day, all his mannerisms etc. Recently, two of his friends moved up rooms and this unsettled him a little so the workers took him to see his friends and really made his day. It's small things like this that make me feel confident leaving him in their care.

Very pleased with childcare at Children 1st @ Clowne. My daughter loves her time there, she's gaining confidence, enjoying social interaction with other children and staff and loves doing all the different activities. My friend's daughter attended the nursery years ago. She's 12 now and has very fond memories of her time there.

Exceptional nursery with very pleasant staff that are always happy to help. A warm welcome is always given to both children and parents/care givers with children being called by their name on arrival. Children have a good mixture of outdoor play and crafts along with following their EY curriculum. As a parent, I feel that I am informed of my little one's progress by several different mediums such as a daily book that comes home with my little one to tell me what they have been doing during the day as well as what they have eaten etc. We are also kept up to date via the EY log. A portal that allows you to keep up to date with their progress and view photos of special achievements. The nursery also holds parents evenings from certain ages for a more formal review of progress.

All in all very happy with his progress and a big thank you to all nursery staff that make this happen for my little one and all the others at Children 1st @Clowne.

I couldn’t wish for a better nursery. My daughter has only been attending this nursery since September 2017 but she has come on so much with her learning. All members of staff are friendly and very easy to approach if you have any questions or queries.

Our son has been attending Breedon @ Clowne since he was 9/10 months old. He settled really well and loves going to play with his friends. He is now 2 and moved up through 3 different rooms, each meeting the changes in his needs as his development moves on. It is more expensive than other settings but I think the extra you pay is worth it. Thank you.

Fantastic with my little boy. The staff take care of him how I would, always there for a cuddle when needed. The staff have been fantastic with his lactose intolerance ensuring his dietary requirements are met.

My little girl has settled in lovely here and all the staff seem lovely. My little girl always seems really happy when I pick her up so much so it hard getting her to leave lol. and I've noticed she's trying to use more words now which is great x

My son joined the nursery a month ago, as a first time parent I was nervous about leaving him and how he would respond, but I cannot praise the staff at Breedon House enough! I can tell already that despite having multiple children to look after, they have taken the time to really get to know my son, his likes and dislikes, his character, and have worked with him to make the nursery a fun and secure environment. He has settled much faster than I expected and that is all down to the amazing ladies who look after him!

We are very happy knowing our little boy is in a safe and friendly environment at the nursery. He's been going to Children's 1st in Clowne for just over two years and has really grown in that time. The staff are excellent, especially his key workers. He comes home and often teaches us new nursery rhymes or songs.

My daughter has loved coming here from the age of 9 months and is now 2. She loves the staff and has bonded well with the teachers. The food is great and my daughter has her 5 a day and plenty to drink. Outstanding childcare.

Both of my daughters have attended this nursery and I am so glad they did. It is a wonderful nursery with lovely welcoming and friendly staff and even though the older daughter is in school now she loves to visit her old rooms! I can't recommend them enough!

Breedon House and all the staff are fantastic. Following two not so good previous nurseries I could not be happier here. The care, thought, friendliness of the staff is second to none. The facilities are superb, 100% clean and just a lovely place and surroundings for my daughter. In my opinion, a text book example of the best and a clear view of being the best. No need to worry about a thing here, it's fantastic. 100% recommend to all.

Our Daughter has attended Children 1st for well over a year now. Throughout this time we have received excellent support and care from each and every member of staff within the nursery. Selecting a nursery for our child was a daunting task, however, Children 1st stood out to us from the rest for its professionalism and friendly knowledgeable staff who clearly all love working there.

Our Daughter is our first child, and the staff at Children 1st have been there for both my Husband and I giving us support and guidance throughout her development and progression within the nursery. Now at 3 1/2 our Daughter loves her nursery time, she runs to open the door and play on the many activities inside. We have recently received excellent care for which we are very grateful for around our Daughters speech and language.

We sincerely have no hesitation in recommending Children 1st at Clowne, and we have done, many of our friends now take their children there too and share in our opinion.
