Children 1st Clowne Nursery School

My two boys absolutely love nursery. They have been attending since September 2024, and have made so much development in all aspects.

The staff go above and beyond for them, particularly in Bobtails, my youngest has a health condition, and they are wonderful with him.

I love receiving updates daily, seeing what they are both up to. The app is great.

I can't fault Children 1st Clowne. Would definitely recommend to any parent

We have had a very positive experience with nursery throughout our daughters 2 years there. She has had periods of not wanting to go but the staff have always supported her to go to nursery happy. Staff have always helped to support Evie with her allergies.

The nursery has been fantastic with my little girl as she recently had a operation and needs to have alot of medication, at set times though out the day while at nursery, and was kept up today each day, about her medication and what she had been doing while at nursery what she has had to eat when she has been to sleep ect and she very happy and loves to go to nursery

My son has been going to Children 1st at Clowne since he was 10 months old he is now currently 2 and a half. This nursery is amazing and I always recommend it to family and friends! The staff are caring and supportive and always there to help! The nursery keeps parents updated on the app on how there child is doing and show us pictures of our children doing fun activity's! My child has needed dietary requirements and the nursery have been amazing at meeting these! I honestly wouldnt send my child to another nursery im so thankful to them! :)

Cannot recommend Children 1st @ Clowne enough for looking after my little boy, he goes in with a beaming smile on his face straight over to the girls who are all fantastic.

The daily updates are great and the effort they put into his individual needs doesn't go unnoticed.

I have seen a huge improvement in every aspect of the nursery recently, and I can honestly say this is the happiest I've been for my child to attend since she started. The food options are now much healthier and more varied which has made a real difference. The staff are more engaged than ever, showing genuine care for my child's wellbeing and real attention to our needs as a family. It feels like the whole nursery has a new positive energy and focus and I finally feel confident and at ease knowing my child is in such good hands. I would recommend this nursery in a heartbeat something I've never been able to say before

My son has been attending nursery since beginning of spring. He started in the bobtails room. This was his first experience of being away from mummy and I was apprehensive about how he would adapt. I can honestly say I didn't need to worry. The team at nursery greeted us with open arms, kindness and compassion. The girls in the room are lovely and made the transition into nursery a positive and enjoyable experience for my son. It can be hard to trust others with your babies but these girls make it easy. My son has come on leaps and bounds since attending nursery. The family app is informative and it's so nice to be able to check throughout the day to see how he's doing, what he's eaten etc. I'm so glad we chose this nursery and so thankful for the staff for looking after my baby like they do . My son particularly enjoys the outdoors space to play.

I have had 2 children in Children 1st nursery and both thoroughly enjoy nursery. The staff have always been friendly and approachable, my children well cared for. In October I've thoroughly enjoyed the pictures being uploaded of my daughter's day and seeing what she's been up to. She really likes her key worker and has a good bond. My other daughter always spoke highly of them too. I have had nothing but great experiences of Children's 1st Clowne.

The staff are absolutely amazing with everything and the children! My daughter loves coming here exploring all the new activities and learning new things each day!

Our 10 month old girl Madison has been absolutely loving nursery at children's 1st, she forgets all about us when we drop her off and is straight over to the girls and all the toys. I was very particular about which nursery she went to and had viewed a few others but I got the best impression from Childrens 1st and it came by recommendation of a friend also. Each age group have a great environment to learn and grow in and I feel very confident with who is looking after my daughter. The girls inside in particular Elle are brilliant and always so bright and friendly. They provide a good variety of healthy meals too. We get updates throughout the day about what she has eaten, her nappies and sleep and also get regular progress updates which is brilliant so we're still able to hear about how she is whilst she's there. Would highly recommend children's 1st!

Our little girl has been attending the nursery since she was 9 months, and she is now 3.5years old. We have always felt comfortable leaving her, in the knowledge she is surrounded by highly trained staff, who care for her as we would; they know her favourite colours, favourite toy and help to encourage her to be independent and friendly. Throughout all the rooms, she's grown from a quiet, very clingy little girl, to this confident, friendly big girl, who loves to tell us about her adventures at nursery with her friends. Whenever there has been any form of upset, or issue, the nursery have escalated to us in a timely manner, and communicated amazingly. Moreso, if we have anything we need to discuss, it is always welcomed and I find any issues I may have, have been escalated accordingly and dealt with. We love receiving pictures and updates throughout the day. She's always proud to bring her artwork home and I know the staff work extremely hard to make fun activities during the day.

The facilities and the staff are brilliant and the cute activities like pictures and cards that come home are adorable. I do find that with a child who is delayed or needs a bit more support than others, I don't feel the nursery fully aids them or has the resources to help with this - not that I've been made aware of anyway - my only criticism. But my little one enjoys her days there and enjoys the climbing frames and running around and playing. All staff are friendly :)

my little girl has become so much more confident in going to nursery over the past couple of weeks, her nursery teachers are so attentive to her and kind and caring, she has formed a lovely bond with her key worker and a few other teachers in her class, which makes me feel at ease when leaving her.

Lovely nursery my child is always all smiles while there an realy enjoys going. They do lots of fun things an always kind to my child an makes her feel welcome.they do all different activities threw the year for Halloween Christmas an the kids have so much fun.

The staff are lovely and the nursery is just perfect. They have lots of outdoor time for fresh air and outdoor play and they have a built in slide inside the room as well as a fish tank, my toddler loves nursery!! There is also an onsite chef and he has some lovely meals, I'm jealous

The facilities are amazing and it was one of the main things we were looking for when choosing a nursery.

My little girl loves going and enjoys all the activities. I love seeing the updates and knowing what she is up to, what she is eating, changes etc. The staff are really kind and helpful and it is really nice when she comes home with painting and a big smile.
