We consider the Busy Bee Day Nursery to be a safe environment for our son. His key worker and the rest of the staff are friendly and we have confidence they are providing the best care. This is a reflection in our son enjoying nursery and telling us "he had fun!" We appreciate the nursery taking the children to different places and getting them outside.

I'm very pleased with Busy Bee Day Nursery I have had my eldest go here and now my second daughter goes. They have helped a lot with her speech and communication. I'm looking forward to sending my son (7months) in the future. I know all my children are well looked after by the team.

It's always worrying when leaving your children with someone else to look after. I have a 1 year old and two year old that having been coming to Busy Bees South Normanton since September 2015. At the time my youngest was only 11 months old, it's hard to leave them at such a young age. I can honestly say that I feel that all the staff here take very good care of my two boys. They come away smiling and happy and I know they are learning and developing at the same time. At the end of each day you get a report of what they eaten, how much sleep they've had and what they have been doing during their day. This is great to keep us mums informed but it is also great to talk through your child's day with them (if they're old enough). Every single member of staff here is lovely and I feel happy when dropping the boys off that they are cared for. If you need advice they are there to help with this too as between them all, they have a lot of experience. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's our first, and they gave us tips, info and support. Our daughter really enjoys it, and the learning structure is very good. The outside space is great and will be lovely in the summer.

The staff at Busy Bees are lovely and always happy to help or reassure with any concerns, they have an excellent relationship with my child, who is always happy to attend.

The setting is of a good size with a spacious outside area for the children to play and explore.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees for 4 months now and loves it! She was 16 months when she started settled in very quickly and is confident with the staff. She learns so much during her 2 days a week and often comes home knowing a new word and has even taught me the actions to nursery rhymes! The staff are excellent and very friendly and I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

I take my grandson on a regular basis. The staff are friendly, helpful and sympathetic. If my grandson is not having too good a day I tell them, and they are so good with him. When he first started nursery he was and still can be quite overwhelmed. They quickly put him at ease giving him and us reassurance, so we knew when we left him he would be okay, which means a lot and gives us peace of mind. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are very accommodating.

My daughter started Busy Bee Nursery in July and now goes full time due to work commitment. She has settled in very well and staff are brilliant with her. She had very few tears from day one as the staff are very confident and dedicated. We get written feedback every day which is excellent. Staff is always available and happy to answer to any queries you have.

The child care is exceptional at Busy Bees Nursery. My son is learning many more words and good social behaviour. The pre-school room is a great place for him and he loves going to play and learn with his friends.

Busy Bee Day Nursery staff have been excellent. Really helpful, kind and friendly and very professional. Our two year old daughter has really loved going so much so that she didn't want to come home at the end of the day! The facilities are excellent with a lovely garden at the back. We would just like to say a big thank you to everyone at the nursery!

My daughter took a little time to settle but now enjoys being at the nursery and comes home full of stories as to what she has been doing whilst there. My daughter adores the outdoor space and I would recommend the nursery to others.

Laura Bowler

"Hello, I'm Laura - Area Manager for Cherubs South Normanton. I have been part of Cherubs Nurseries since 2007 and am incredibly fortunate to work across multiple Cherubs Nurseries during my career so far. Doing this has allowed me to really understand the expectations and the need to ensure we provide high-quality childcare every day. We take our role in the early years seriously and are always keen to go above and beyond where we can.

I am incredibly passionate about giving all children the very best start. In addition to my Area Manager role, I am the Group Safeguarding and SEND Lead. This means I work with all the nurseries to ensure we provide tailored care to those with additional needs."
