Bright Horizons Southam Day Nursery and Preschool

Everyone within the nursery knows every child. I know my child is well looked after and having a great time whilst learning loads. The food is fantastic, the staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. Both my children have been very happy here.

My little boy is in the pre-school room and absolutely loves going to nursery! He always talks about the staff in his room and his friends that he’s made! He’s really got more confident in himself and isn’t as shy as when he first started, the staff, all of them, have been fantastic, and we couldn’t ask for more. He has learnt so much and always comes home with artwork that he’s done, which I absolutely love! When the nursery shut because of Covid, I was worried about him starting back again and changing rooms, but I didn’t need to be, he settled in again so well and staff introduced themselves, and always feel he’s in great hands. We are so pleased we picked Bright Horizons nursery, and hope we can get our next child in as well. Thank you so much.

My baby has really severe allergies, and I was quite worried about what would happen when she went to nursery, but the staff have been absolutely amazing. She has not missed out at all with the menu because of this, and they have been really thoughtful about getting her special yoghurts and things that she can have. They haven't made it feel an inconvenience at all, and they have her special milk ready for breakfast when she arrives. The staff in the baby room are so lovely and welcoming to her. She now runs into the nursery so happy and is chatting away at the end of the day. It is so lovely to see. I have really appreciated getting the photos of what she has done that month.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. We used it following a personal recommendation, and now I’m so pleased to continue to recommend it to others.

I have three children, the first of whom started at Southam Beehive in 2010. My third child finished his nursery journey on 19th July 2019. In nine years, we have enjoyed a near-perfect service from this nursery. The staff have largely remained the same during the nine years and the reassurance of leaving my children with staff who I had come to know and trust over that period of time is something I could not place enough value on.

The staff are professional but friendly and warm. They make you feel as if each child and parent are special and take the time to make sure they are always meeting your needs. Communication is always prompt and they will go out of their way to accommodate changes in hours etc. Perhaps one of the nicest things that makes all this possible is that the staff seem genuinely happy at work and enjoy working with each other and I think everything else leads off that.

I must say that all the staff from the Baby Room, where my child is currently based through to the Preschool have the same friendly nature about them even though they don't look after my child directly they know who we are and always say hello if they pass us. I go to work every day knowing that my child is in the best care and is having a brilliant day.

The staff are amazing and as a whole, the nursery is so accommodating.

The food is all cooked from fresh on site and both the kids enjoy their meals, which always smell amazing when we drop them off!

There’s so much for them to do and play with, inside and out and I cannot begin to describe the love my children have for the staff and equally the love they get back. I cannot thank the nursery enough!

My son has been at Southam Beehive nursery for 4 years. He started when he was 8 months old and I can honestly say I have been over the moon with the care provided by all the staff. My son has thoroughly enjoyed attending and it is clear to see that all the staff genuinely love the children they look after. It was comforting leaving my 1st born in the hands of such wonderful people, knowing that he would be looked after as well as I would care for him. They have always been considerate of my wishes and feelings and have completed actions I have requested eg sleep routine/dietary requirements. The staff take the time to get to know the children, their likes/dislikes and encourage them to develop to their best ability, allowing them to complete activities that they enjoy whilst giving them lots of support in the things they find challenging. Not only have the staff been amazing with my son they have supported myself through difficult times and they always have an ear to listen to parents.

The education my daughter received whilst in the nursery has given her an amazing start and she was well prepared for starting school this year. The staff have not only been an amazing support to my daughter but are always there for the parents as well. The manager is lovely and has always been fabulous at helping me out when I’ve needed additional sessions.

Bright Horizons Southam is a great environment for the children; a great mix of children combined with the professional caring and approachable staff in a safe, secure location allows me to feel 100% happy in leaving my child for the daycare. Added to that, she is provided with great food and at the end of the day always has a beaming smile on her face. The activities provided on a daily basis form an amazing start to her education and social journey. I am completely confident in recommending the nursery to others.

The staff’s genuine care and love for the children shines through and with wonderful leadership the atmosphere and ethos of the Nursery is perfect for us. We are so happy we chose Bright Horizons Southam!

A lovely pre-school and nursery with dedicated, caring and professional staff. My little one was very happy at the Beehive from the baby room through to the pre-school. I would recommend it. The focus is very much on play as part of learning and there seemed to be a good range of activities for the children throughout the year. When we needed to change hours or have some flexibility the team worked hard to accommodate our needs.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Bright Horizons Southam Day Nursery and Preschool to everyone who wants to give their child the best care and foundation for a life-long love of learning. Our daughter started in the baby room four years ago and since then she has flourished and grown in confidence, making great friendships. Southam Beehive has cared for her at all stages, from babies to toddlers and finally to pre-school, helping her explore and develop her interests. The staff are friendly as well as professional. Our daughter has always enjoyed going in and participating in all the engaging activities ranging from science experiments, music, football, all of which maximise the spacious and well-equipped garden. She has been well prepared to make the transition to primary school in less than a month. We will be sad to say goodbye to all the staff but we are incredibly grateful to them all for the role they have played in giving our daughter an excellent foundation to build upon.

My daughter has been attending Beehive for 3 years and we have had a wonderful experience in both toddlers and preschool. The team are very attentive to the child’s individual needs and are extremely approachable for parents.

I highly recommend Beehive, my daughter has been here since she was one. The staff are amazing. The daily routine has really helped her development. She loves to talk about her nursery. The outside area is brilliant, very sensory. I just wish the pre school funded hours were a bit more flexible, unfortunately our daughter will be going to a different preschool as the hours offered at Beehive arent beneficial to us which is a real shame as she loves it there. Thanks to all the staff for looking after her so well.

We love Beehive. They are not just a childcare provider to us but a second family. The care my children have received and continue to receive is amazing. The home cooked food is delicious. All the team, but especially management go the extra mile in giving parents something extra with the Mother’s Day tea. I will miss the team when it comes for the time my 3rd child leaves. Keep up the good work ladies.

Both my two youngest children attended this nursery. They have been very happy children at Beehive nursery and the staff have been really caring, helpful and friendly with the children and myself. I felt happy and confident in leaving my children to be cared for at Beehive nursery whilst I was at work. Their learning journey at the nursery was good and made them ready for school. A wide variety of food menus was available throughout the year.

We are extremely satisfied with the fantastic care that our son receives on a daily basis. The staff are so kind and ensure we feel reassured leaving our child in their care. Great food, really organised, wide variety of activities and celebrations happening.
