Footsteps Lichfield Road Nursery & Pre-School

Our daughter loves coming to preschool during the week and can’t wait to tell us about the exciting activities she’s done throughout the day.

The staff are really friendly and make the setting feel like it’s part of your extended family.

Not only are the children happy and learning, but they also love the food. The chef always gets a special mention each day in our house.

Our son has been attending Footsteps since the beginning of the year after having a horrible experience at his previous nursery and their lack of care.

He has received nothing but the best care and attention since he started. The staff are helpful and happy and he absolutely loves being dropped off on the days he attends! He has come on leaps and bounds and his character is really developing we have no doubt that the great staff at Footsteps are a massive contributing factor in that.

The Movers Room that my child attends 2-days a week is such a nurturing and fun environment! Our child has developed fantastic social skills after a rocky start joining the baby room during the pandemic. Her speech, communication and personal relationships outside of our household have come on leaps and bounds, so I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the girls that have been involved in her journey so far!

My son attends preschool and he is very happy there, the staff interact with my child really well and I’m very pleased with this nursery, and I would recommend it to everyone. It’s a brilliant location and they do a variety of things with the children.

My eldest daughter attended this nursery from baby room to preschool and I now have a 20-month-old in Movers room.

They have both enjoyed their time here, all practitioners are friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. I love to see photos of what they have been up to and hear about the different activities they have enjoyed.

My child goes to this nursery in the preschool room, the staff are so friendly and have always provided a well-detailed handover at the end of the day. My daughter absolutely loves the forest school and playing with all of her friends!

Footsteps have really brought my child on; she adores all the teachers, which are really good with her. She always arrives with a smile and always leaves with one. She loves the daily activities and really enjoys forest school.

I cannot recommend Footstep Nursery - Lichfield Road, enough. Each day my daughter arrives at the baby room and there is nothing but a huge smile on her face. She literally jumps out my arms to go into their arms which from a mothers point of view speaks volumes and reassures me that she is happy and safe here. Each day we are welcome with a warm, smiling face and at the end of each day we still have a smiling face not just from the staff but from my daughter, it’s also followed up with a very thorough rundown of what she has done that day.

There is nothing that the staff wouldn’t do, they are more than willing to help and reassure you, even if you have called about the 100th time to make sure your child is okay for your own peace of mind! I sometimes wish I could bottle the team up to take home so that my daughter can carry on developing and having fun at home as much as she does here.

Our daughter has attended Footsteps Nursery since she was 15 months and we have had a great experience within all the rooms. The staff have always been friendly and informative, and whilst the pickup and drop off experience is a little different than pre-covid, we always receive a full handover at the end of the day. Our daughter is now in the pre-school room and absolutely loves going in, she has a lovely friendship group and loves telling us about her day.

I have such a good experience with this nursery. My son goes here, he’s in the baby room and the staff are all so lovely. They really help me feel at ease as at the beginning I was really nervous but my son has settled so well and now loves going to nursery. The nursery is amazing and I would recommend.

My daughter goes to this nursery and is currently in the baby room, the nursery is amazing and all the staff set up amazing activities to do with the babies all the time. They really helped my daughter as before nursery she had never been left with anyone and they really helped settle her and help me feel at ease. This nursery is very good, I would recommend it.

I find the level of care in this setting to be excellent, my daughter is supported on her learning journey by all staff and nothing is too much trouble. A wide range of activities are on offer daily from outdoor play to cooking clubs, all with an eye on education and obtaining knowledge at each step. The menus are varied and also have an eye on healthy eating. Children are encouraged to try new foods.

On a more administrative level, any office-based queries on funding/billing are dealt with swiftly and efficiently by management. I would wholeheartedly recommend Footsteps Nursery Lichfield Road to any prospective parents looking for a nursery that really is ‘one step ahead in childcare.’

My daughter loves this place, she’s been there since she was eleven months and she can’t stop talking about her teachers and friends from preschool. The food is great too. Very kind and very helpful staff. Highly recommend this nursery.

Happy with the nursery, my child has settled well into the baby room and they always seem to be doing a different activity every day! Lots of arts and crafts available and they keep a great daily report to show what they’ve done that day, such as what they have eaten, how long they sleep for and how many nappies have been changed.

Having my daughter during the first lockdown was really hard and leaving her for nursery was even harder! A full year at home without mixing with any mommies or babies left her a little clingy and unsure of new people. The girls at Footsteps Nursery & Pre-school (Tamworth Lichfield Road) have made my leap in leaving her a little easier, filling me with confidence every morning that she is doing great and being looked after by lovely people. Would highly recommend, thank you!

My son started at Footsteps Nursery at 13 months, he is now 16 months and he has come on leaps and bounds in such a short space of time. His speech, his knowledge of things and understanding of situations and his little character has shone through. He always comes out with a huge smile on his face, puts his arms out to the girls when I drop him off, he just loves it. I love that he loves it, the mom guilt was terrible but knowing he has a fab time makes it all worth it. The staff are lovely, they take pictures and keep you updated on their activities well and I know my son is in good hands. I will definitely send any future children there without any hesitation.

We have been sending our son to the Lichfield Road Footsteps since he was 6 months old he’s now 3 and in upper pre-school, we feel that without the nursery he wouldn’t be as far along as he is with things like his social skills, speaking, counting. Brilliant nursery and brilliant staff.

Lovely nursery, my daughter is excited every morning to go there and has amazing relationships with the staff who she talks about at home. Lots of lovely garden space, good resources and they do lots of activities with the children.
