My daughter and I, especially me, were very nervous about starting nursery. My daughter is of a quieter disposition and straight to mommy around new people. The staff have been super friendly and upbeat, she has taken to her key worker and all other staff super quick and seems very happy when I pick
her up. My daughter even smiles when I mention staff names at home. Overall, we're having an amazing experience with this nursery.

Since our settling in sessions, the team have done everything they can to help make sure that our daughter settled in well. Every time we drop her off the members of staff are always happy to see her and make us feel welcome. They keep us up to date on that day's activities and even provide pictures.
We especially loved all the Halloween pictures from baking, painting, dressing up and with pumpkins. They always serve a variety of food and even make special meals for when our daughter is being a bit fussy.

Amazing! Make me feel so comfortable and supported even from the first day with how nervous I was at first leaving my son. I can see a massive difference in my child's confidence since attending nursery. So glad I made the decision to send him here!

Overall I am pleased with the nursery experience for my son. However the room was mixed up to begin with he was in toddlers and should have been in rising 3s. As soon as he went to rising 3s I no longer received updates in the evening on paper of what he had eaten/done during the day which I really
enjoyed. I dont feel the app is fully utilised. The only information I get on there now is if he has had a sleep. If I don't pick him up I have to rely on my husband to remember what he was told regarding meals/playtime etc. I have friends with children in nursery and there communication through the app is a lot more detailed and thorough and I feel this could be hugely improved.

With your child being in the older room rising three's we no longer provide daily diaries, however we aim to give feedback on your child's day at collection. There are whiteboards outside each room detailing daily activities your child has taken part in that day. If you would like to provide us with feedback as to what extra information you would like to be included in the app we can certainly look into this for you.

Brilliant nursery. Staff are all engaging with children no matter what room they are in. The nursery accommodate all children's needs and requirements taking into account parents' requests. Nursery is bright and airy and the children have access to the garden and forest school during the day. The activities
are well led and educational ensuring the children are following the Early Years Foundation Stage. Highly recommended and would always suggest this to family and friends.

Amazing preschool staff! One staff member is amazing! Not only with kids but everyone! My son loves her and she truly puts me at ease every single day! In fact, all of the staff in the preschool room and other rooms are amazing! My son been here since baby and if he would be my first all of my kids
would attend. Sadly he is my definite last so once he leaves for school we will be parting for good. But we still have a year to go.

My son goes to Footsteps nursery since April 2022 and he is delighted. He loves teachers, games, activities, forest school and kids in the nursery. As parents, we are satisfied with the professionalism of the nursery. Definitely, all of our family love the place.

My daughter goes to this nursery full time and has done from ten months old (now nineteen months). She absolutely loves going every day and the staff are brilliant with her! She's coming along so well and developing, even more, every day thanks to the great staff. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
The food is of a high standard every day.

Our little one has been going to nursery since June 2022 and he kicks his legs and does the biggest smiles in excitement when he sees certain staff at the door in the morning - it's so lovely to see and says it all really!
They really do provide an amazing variety of activities and things to explore
and play with. Love the outside space and that the littles get fresh air so often too.
It's clear that the team genuinely care and have the best interests of the little ones in everything they do. They always take their time to go through our little one's daily log, telling stories about the things they've noticed him do each morning, and often print photos.
The only thing that comes to mind that could be improved in my opinion is the app but I know this is being looked into and is a tiny point compared to the amazing care being provided every day!

My little boy has recently started nursery three days a week he started in babies and has now moved up to movers. He’s grown so much confidence since being at Footsteps, he has settled in so well! He always seems to take part and enjoy every activity they have planned.
The staff are really friendly,
patient and always communicate when required.
We always receive a great handover after each session to let us know what he’s been up to that day.
Can’t thank them enough for the love and care they have given my little one!

My child has attended the nursery since he was 9 months old and recently they’ve supported me with his toilet training, he’s now dry through the day! The staff are all able to give informative information and care for all the children as if they were their own. I can’t thank the team enough.
There
is always healthy meals provided which my son loves and the activities put on daily are educational and fun

Staff are very caring and attentive. They have been really supportive with our son during potty training, difficult drop offs an some extra needs. Our son always enjoys the food at Footsteps and loves the outdoor space, especially Forrest School, which was a big reason for us choosing Footsteps.

Excellent setting, ensuring there is plenty of stimulating activities for my little boy to enjoy. They provide a detailed update on your child’s development and are always happy to help. My son always enjoys coming here and he especially enjoys his meals and snacks which are healthy and varied weekly.

Our daughter loves coming to preschool during the week and can’t wait to tell us about the exciting activities she’s done throughout the day.


The staff are really friendly and make the setting feel like it’s part of your extended family.


Not only are the children happy and learning, but they

also love the food. The chef always gets a special mention each day in our house.

Hello, my name is Natasha, and I began my career in childcare in 2005. I have been a Nursery Manager since 2012 and joined Footsteps in July 2017.


Through my extensive experience working in my Early Years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge, offering care and education to young children of all ages.


I hold a Diploma in childcare and education.


I have always felt passionate about working with children, watching them grow, and gaining their own identity and independence as they spend their early years with us.


My vision is to create a home-from-home experience to enable our children to feel safe and secure and have a fun-filled day, every day while in our setting.

I am qualified in childcare and development.
