Footsteps Lichfield Road Nursery & Pre-School

My son started at Footsteps Nursery at 13 months, he is now 16 months and he has come on leaps and bounds in such a short space of time. His speech, his knowledge of things and understanding of situations and his little character has shone through. He always comes out with a huge smile on his face, puts his arms out to the girls when I drop him off, he just loves it. I love that he loves it, the mom guilt was terrible but knowing he has a fab time makes it all worth it. The staff are lovely, they take pictures and keep you updated on their activities well and I know my son is in good hands. I will definitely send any future children there without any hesitation.

We have been sending our son to the Lichfield Road Footsteps since he was 6 months old he’s now 3 and in upper pre-school, we feel that without the nursery he wouldn’t be as far along as he is with things like his social skills, speaking, counting. Brilliant nursery and brilliant staff.

Lovely nursery, my daughter is excited every morning to go there and has amazing relationships with the staff who she talks about at home. Lots of lovely garden space, good resources and they do lots of activities with the children.

This nursery is amazing, my son settled in straight away and he has learnt so much. He is very confident since being at nursery, they don’t stick to a strict schedule if my son doesn’t want to play or do an activity, they will cater for his needs. His speech is amazing, he is very clever and that’s down to this nursery. I would tell anybody to go and take their child to this nursery, the fact they have a forest school too, my little boy loves it.

We’ve been sending our 1-year-old since he was 8 months old and it’s the best decision I’ve made. The staff are brilliant, selfless and care for my child as well as I do. He is well entertained, well-fed and has come on leaps and bounds with the help from the team. He can walk, say three words and is developing other key skills that his peers who don’t attend nursery haven’t learnt yet. He has made amazing relationships with the team.

The fact that my daughter runs in without even turning around to say goodbye to me says it all. She loves it here, has lots of “best friends” and has progressed massively since attending over a year ago. Every single member of staff is lovely and so helpful.

An amazing nursery setting! Really helped to settle my son into nursery and to transition him into another room. The team are really helpful and attentive with my son's care. The nursery itself is clean with an amazing outdoor space and lots of things to do to engage the children. I would also like to add how good the safety measures around Covid-19 have been!

My son started Lichfield Road in the Movers Room and now is currently in Rising 3's. Since starting at Lichfield Road, he has progressed leaps and bounds. He is a confident, happy little boy and is always supported by the staff. He always comes home able to tell us what a wonderful day he has had and the amazing things he gets up to. Cannot thank the girls enough.

Footsteps have been brilliant since returning from lockdown. The staff have been brilliant with our son, and it's been nice for him to enjoy going back to nursery after an unsettling year. The staff in the toddlers/rising 3's have been supportive and always are the first to put our minds at rest. Thank you for making everything so easy for us!

My little one has been going to Footsteps for over a year. The staff in each room are warm and welcoming, can not fault it. Great menu for the children each week offering a wide range of dishes. Exciting and creative activities planned each day; they have a forest school, which my little one really enjoys.

Picked up my nephew last week, and the staff were just lovely. The young girl seemed to be in great control of the children and kept them very organised. It’s helped my nephew so much getting back into a routine with everything going on in the world right now.

My nephew always comes home telling me about the nursery. He talks about his friends and what he gets up to. He enjoys nursery and always is happy when he comes home. His favourite thing about the nursery is forest school. His favourite activity at the moment was using the drill, he brought his pictures to show what he had done at nursery.

We were quite anxious as parents sending our child back to nursery after lockdown. She had grown up quite a bi,t and needed to move to the next room. Thankfully, the wonderful staff made her so welcome, and she settled into her new room almost instantly. Our daughter loves going to nursery. She’s always excited to get going and is very comfortable with all of the staff. Thank you.

Great nursery, I have used for both my children and we have been really pleased. The younger rooms, in particular, are lovely - very nurturing staff and both my children flourished. The outdoor space is wonderful with a wide variety of outdoor toys and activities and a forest school. They also have french classes and jo jingles classes. Great food too from the chef. There is also the opportunity for flexibility with my child’s which is important to us.

My child loves going to nursery and has really missed the staff during lockdown.

Our daughter has built up a good bond with the staff members that take care of her and she looks forward to each day within the movers room.

Nursery is a home from home environment, my son has recently moved into toddlers, he has settled so well and the staff are kind and helpful. Management team are helpful with any requests and are always around the nursery on hand to help. Thank you!

Both my children attend this nursery and all of the staff are professional, friendly and know all of the children. They are always happy when I collect them as they enjoy their days there which are fun and stimulating.

Footsteps is a fantastic nursery. My daughter has been attending for just over a year, and she adores the staff and has made lots of friends. If you ever have any concerns or questions, the staff go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy. I can't recommend them enough.
