Footsteps Lichfield Road Nursery & Pre-School

Really friendly staff who helped our daughter settle in and continue to help on bad days! Lots of different activities and always really useful handover information at the end of the day. Useful app and good communication.

My child is always eager to get to nursery and barely glances back at me when I drop her off. A sure sign that she loves it there. Caring staff and a wide range of activities accelerate my child's growth and development.

The key workers are excellent. The nursery is looking tired in places. Emails sent to management with no response back which is unacceptable. The policy of requiring the child to be at home for loose nappies is ridiculous especially when we know it is teething and doctors have confirmed this. Absence cost us £400 alone this month.

My child is in the baby room at the nursery. She loves attending and is always smiley when she attends. The staff are lovely! Caring and her key worker is always updating us and sending nice pictures home. Thanks so much for looking after her. I feel reassured leaving her in your care.

We are very happy with Lichfield Road Nursery, the staff are amazing and really care about the children. They are easy to talk too and our daughter loves going. She loves the food that is provided and loves all the activities they do, unfortunately with her only doing one day she does miss out on some exciting activities but on the day she is in they do do a lot with her.

Great. Child has developed well. Staff seem to really care about child and have a genuine bond. Information is clearly communicated. Food given is varied and nutritious. Like the stuff that comes home with her.

My grandson has been attending this nursery for a couple of months now. Seeing him so happy and smiling when he comes out is lovely to see. The staff within the room are friendly, approachable and nothing is ever too much to ask. They offer a variety of activities including forest school; my grandson adores the outdoor time and is full of stories about his time in forest school.

Our baby settled in really well thanks to the help of her key worker. The first few sessions when we left her, she would get upset but the staff reassured us and gave us confidence she was in the best hands. If we were worried we could phone at any time. The room leader made us feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Any requests or changes eg dietary requirements have been made when asked. Our babies development has really come on since nursery and they have really helped get her into a good routine which suits our lifestyle and they give good guidance if we have looked for it. From the nursery workers to our key worker and the room leader they are very good at their jobs and are a credit to Footsteps Lichfield Road Nursery & Pre-School.

We are very happy with the care the baby room has given our son since he started. He is very happy to be there and enjoys all the well planned activities the staff put on. The level of communication from the staff is excellent and they all look happy to be working there which gives me even more confidence that they are providing a wonderful environment for the children in their care. I love the regular themed activities and receiving photos of what my son has been up to.

The baby room is wonderful; so enthusiastic and caring towards my little one. He has settled in so well and is really enjoying his time at nursery - this credit to the staff. Daily updates of his happy little face are really reassuring.

My daughter has been attending Footsteps Lichfield Road Nursery & Pre-School since 18 months old. She has moved around, in 4 different rooms and currently goes to pre-school. Staff is friendly and overall our experience with them has been pretty good. The facilities, especially the gardens and forest school, help the children to explore outside and enjoy their time outdoors. They have plenty of things to do and never appear bored. Food is amazing and my daughter has always enjoyed her meals over there. In general, we are very pleased with Footsteps nursery.

Our daughter started at Footsteps this month and so far has had a great experience. I'm a really anxious mum so I was really put at ease by the ladies in the baby room who said I could check in any time I want. Its also really nice to get a little summary of their day via the app - I hope things continue like this!

He loves being at nursery, we love looking through his observations and seeing what he's been up to.

My daughter has been at footsteps for a short while. She is doing absolutely amazing. The nursery nurses are brilliant at their job and she loves going. December in her group they did some lovely Xmas things, and we thoroughly enjoyed the measured ribbon in a baubles. Definitly a keep sake.

We're so grateful to Footsteps and all the staff for all they do. Our son started in the summer of 2022 and has thrived from the beginning. He loves going to nursery and has learnt so much since he began. We love seeing what he's been doing each day and are so pleased with how well he's doing. The Christmas package he brought home was lovely. Thank you to everyone in Babies and Movers.

However, a little more information on what the children get up to would be really nice. We have also found that meeting sleep needs has been a challenge - where, at home, they might sleep for 2-2.5 hours at nursery, it's often been half an hour, if at all. The only explanation we have ever been given for this is that the nap room can become quite noisy and disruptive, which is not conducive to good sleep. On the whole, though, we are happy.

Each member of staff we met was friendly and answer all questions.

Really pleased with the staff and how much our child has developed. The staff are so lovely and our child has settled so well within the nursery. I recommend the nursery to anyone I speak to now and would like to thank everybody.
