  • 1.   Drive into the entrance of the county hospital, Weston road, Stafford.
    2.   On arrival, look towards the right and you will see an entrance to a car park operated by barriers.
    3.   Press the buzzer to gain entrance, inform the security team on the intercom that you are visiting Smileys Nursery, you will then be let through.
    4.   You will then see their building, in front of the nursery there is allocated parking spaces for the nursery where you can park. Please do not use other spaces which are designated to the hospital as you may be fined.

My son has been enjoying his stay at the nursery. I regularly receive feedback from his teachers about how his day has been, which is really helpful. My son seems to be getting on really well with his nursery staff and even talks about them while he is at home, eg my teacher did this it that, which
is really funny sometimes. I feel my son is really looked after at this nursery.

Really happy with our experience so far. It was really hard for me to leave my child, but the girls have really helped me, as well as my child.
My child has settled in really well, thanks to the staff.

My child is really settled in the big room. She loves the new toys and set up of the room. She loves the staff, and they always let us know she has had a fantastic day.

Very professional, and all the staff are great. My daughter's been with them since she was nine months old, and she's developed very much only because she has the greatest staff looking after her. Thank you so much.

I feel the staff at Smileys are working really hard. They have been so supportive with potty training. The activities they do every day really help with development. The food is always enjoyed. I would like to thank the tweenie room for their care and for being so enthusiastic. It's so reassuring knowing

We have had a very disappointing experience with Smileys in Stafford. We have found them to be unreliable causing a lot of stress to find replacement child care. We have had dates confirmed and then cancelled by Smileys.
They tell me this is because of a change of management but the current managers
have confirmed dates not knowing if they can provide the dates then leaving us having to take time off work. There is no excuse for this poor planning by the new managers. If you are looking for a nursery and reading this I would urge you to look at another nursery and keep away from Smileys. They might sort themselves out in the future but at the moment they are not fit to be open.

My daughter has been attending Smileys for almost a year. The staff are very experienced and friendly. They pay attention to each child’s needs and get to know them really well. They give regular feedback and keep parents in the loop. My daughter enjoys her time here and always goes in with a smile.
Kids always seem happy here.
The staff are very patient.
Smileys also offer flexible hours, which is very helpful.
Always recommend Smileys!

Two of my children currently attend this nursery and it is the best nursery any of my children have ever attended. I can honestly recommend this nursery 100%, it really is wonderful nursery and it’s been lovely to experience my children wanting to go to nursery!

My 2 and 3-year-old attend nursery and love it here. Plenty of activities and separate outdoor play areas for different age children. I work changeable shifts and without the flexibility, the nursery offers I would be unable to do my job. Staff all know the children and its lovely that they have seen
them from babies through to preschool. They have taken sensible and reasonable measures during COVID without detriment to the children's wellbeing.

I have over ten years’ experience of working with children within a childcare setting. I started my career within childcare as a student, I then continued to work my way up. Once qualified I became a Room Leader and then progressed to a Deputy Manager and now a Manager.


Myself and the team work extremely hard to ensure we provide a safe and happy environment where the children within our care can explore and learn, enabling them to develop and flourish.
