Footsteps Fazeley Nursery & Pre-School

My oldest left this summer well-prepared to start school. Really impressed with how well preschool prepares the children. My youngest loves nursery, playing in forest school and getting messy. The staff are encouraging my child to talk more and learn new vocabulary. The staff are very supportive and always willing to help where possible.

All the staff are so lovely and genuinely take an interest in my son. He absolutely loves going and we couldn't ask for more. He particularly loves forest school - we loves all the activities, and really given him confidence outside of nursery.

Absolutely brilliant. We have both our kids there and they love it. They respect our family choices and work alongside us. Loads of 'play to learn' activities for the kids to develop their skills, with lots of outside space, forest school and messy play. My kids love the food the chef prepares. They always have nutritious and balanced meals. I couldn't have found a better nursery for my children.

This review is not only for June but all year. Our daughter has continued to thrive in the preschool setting, and this is all down to the hard-working staff. They have brilliant relationships with the children and provide a safe, caring and stimulating setting. I do wish the owning group would invest more into the outside facilities by providing more equipment, and updating what is there. Educational equipment would be of huge benefit.

I highly recommend Footsteps Fazeley. My son (18 months) has grown in confidence since being here. He absolutely loves the forest school and the music sessions. The staff are friendly and professional.

Really excellent nursery! My son really struggled with separation anxiety and they worked with us to help him get the most out of nursery. He also has allergies which they cater to really well and ensure he gets to eat as similar food to the other children as possible. I would recommend this nursery to others.

Staff is very nice and helpful with the settling in. Room is clean and spacious. They are doing lots of activities and have a good routine in place. Overall it’s a good space for the little ones to spend their day.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since 9 months old, and for a first-time mom, the girls at Fazeley Footsteps have made it such an easy process for us. She absolutely loves going to nursery, and usually waves me off at the door when I drop her off. They do so much fun stuff with the children, as well as keeping everywhere clean (especially with the unavoidable nursery bugs). I have watched my daughter grow up so much since attending this nursery, and watching her little personality bloom!

From day one I was happy to leave my daughter at the nursery - she loves her keyworker and other staff so rarely gets upset when I leave. The range of activities she gets the opportunity to take part in is far greater than I could have imagined. I’m also grateful to the nursery staff for the support they’ve given when dropping bottles and transitioning to cow's milk. I know I’ll get that continued support as my daughter progresses through the rooms.

Before we booked a visit we looked at the recent Ofsted inspection to support our choice, it tells you all and made us want to look around. Thank you Footsteps for making it easier for us, we highly recommend it. At the front of the building, there is building work so can be hard to find.

The staff are always helpful with my child. They are always there if he is struggling with the transition of a morning. They always give me updates on how my child is doing throughout the day, especially if the morning was difficult. They are always happy and smiling with you when you come through the door, just giving you hope that your child is going to have a good day, and every day so far, my child has come out happy and has enjoyed himself.

The facilities are very good and you can see that the team are always looking for the best way to encourage the children with day-to-day learning and play.

From the moment we stepped into the nursery, it was clear that the staff truly care about the well-being and development of each child. The warm and welcoming atmosphere instantly put our minds at ease, knowing that our little ones would be in safe hands. The dedicated team of teachers and caregivers consistently demonstrate a genuine love for what they do, and it is reflected in the exceptional care they provide. The staff is always available and willing to discuss any concerns or questions. The open lines of communication and regular updates on our children's progress have been invaluable, providing reassurance and allowing us to actively participate in their learning journey. Their outstanding care and commitment to each child's growth is truly exceptional. It is a place where children thrive, and parents feel confident that their little ones are receiving the highest level of care and education. We recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional nursery experience.

Finally, management was never present and always hid behind the deputy and assistant managers.

I have picked up my niece a few times from baby room at Footsteps Fazeley Nursery & Pre-School and I must say it is by far the best nursery I have seen! The staff are so lovely and welcoming and the handovers I have received from the girls in the room were so detailed and it was lovely knowing how well my child was getting on after only starting a couple of months ago and how far she has come since being there!

I genuinely can't thank the Footsteps Fazeley team more if I tried. My little girl started in March this year after going to a childminder which didn't work out how we planned to. I was really worried about how she would cope in a busier setting and a faster-paced environment. From viewing the nursery to today all of the ladies have been nothing short of amazing, the love and attention they give all of the children in their care is immeasurable. I know that when I leave my daughter in their care she has the best day possible, they provide reassurance, education and so much fun and that's all a parent could wish for. Going back to work, especially after your first child is hard but just knowing my little girl is having an amazing time in the care of these wonderful ladies fills me with so much reassurance. My daughter has come on leaps and bounds since attending Footsteps and I'd encourage anyone to book in for an open day!

Since day one, I have been more than happy with the standard of care the nursery have provided my son. You can see how much the staff love the children and how invested they are in their overall wellbeing and development. My son has been at Footsteps since June 2021 and his development in that time is amazing and all of that is due to the nursery. I have nothing but praise for all the staff. my son loves going to nursery and he loves the staff who look after him. So much so, he talks about them at home. it will be a sad day when the time comes to say goodbye.

Footsteps Fazeley is a fantastic nursery. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The care they offer the children is exemplary. The staff provide excellent care, support and learning to all children. The activities are brilliant and the food superb. Both my children love going to this nursery and I would highly recommend it. All members of the team including management, support staff, the chef and lunchtime supervisors all provide the best possible service.

My niece absolutely loves coming to the nursery at Footsteps Fazeley! The staff have such an amazing bond with her, I always see pictures on the online system so I can see what she gets up to and how much fun she is having. At the weekends she is always talking about nursery and she is always excited to go in.
