Busy Bees Burton-Upon-Trent offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where all children are offered the best start to their education.

Each of the nursery rooms, as well as the spacious outdoors area, are tailored to suit each age group, ensuring a variety of exciting activities and engaging learning resources for all the children to enjoy.

To help support your child's development, the team plan and prepare a variety of fun-filled activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, encouraging child-led play and learning that promotes independence, curiosity and confidence.

Incredibly happy with the care and service that we’ve received from Busy Bees Burton Day Nursery. They truly love and care for both my children, even now the eldest is at school. I know that my children are safe and their development is being carefully monitored, observed and built upon. I highly recommend
them to anyone looking for childcare.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees Burton since April 2022 and I cannot fault the nursery. The staff are all lovely and very welcoming. Since attending she has come out of her shell and will interact more with other people. Would recommend Busy Bees Burton to anyone needing a nursery.

I cannot recommend Busy Bees at Burton, enough. The staff are all so lovely and the relationships with the children are what makes it so good. My son often comes home and talks about his day and the amazing activities. This along with regular daily updates including photos and developmental updates.
As a full time working parent, this really means I can relax knowing my son is well cared for when he is not with me. Also, the open days and handovers at the end of the day are great to get the parents involved. Nothing negative to say about this nursery whatsoever. Keep doing a great job and thank you!

Overall, from the outside, this is a great nursery. The team are lovely, smiley and they come across fun and loving. The management team are always very nice and accommodating. My child has been there for over two months and they love it, always happy to see the team and go into the nursery. They are
talking more and I know they are learning lots there and today they were singing the days of the week. So happy, with my child’s progress, the team and the app.

It is a lovely nursery. All the staff are outstanding and are all polite. I could not recommend this nursery enough to anyone. My experience has always been amazing. I have never had any concerns about leaving my little girl here.

Busy Bees at Burton made us feel very confident and comforted with our son joining their nursery, and were very eager to learn about our son to make his transition easy. He absolutely loves going each morning and has developed a great bond with both of his keyworkers. Staff have ensured our son is happy,
engaged, comforted and has fun. We love seeing his updates and the photos uploaded. Communication is excellent and the food he has is also amazing. We are very pleased with how well our son has settled into nursery and have seen him come on so beautifully since joining.

The boys both love attending Busy Bees at Burton. The staff are always friendly and supportive. The children are given the opportunity for both independent and guided play. The menu ideas are always different and healthy and foods that the children love. The outside spaces are excellent and the staff

My child has been attending nursery for the last 16 months and I'm very pleased with the care received. Any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently by management and staff. My child is always very happy and loves going to the nursery. She is learning far more than I could ever give her at home.
The staff always have the time to discuss my childs progress and were brilliant at helping me as a mum adjust to going back into work in the early days.

Our daughter is always happy to come to nursery. The staff have always been supportive and welcoming and have dealt with any concerns quickly and professionally. The food is far better than in other nurseries we have been to; healthier and more appetising.

Since joining Busy Bees Burton in January this year, my son has thrived both physically and emotionally and loves his time there. There is a great culture of care and communication and the team are fantastic. In terms of security and welfare, I couldn't recommend the nursery any more. Well done to everyone

I confidently recommend this nursery for care, staff commitment, friendliness, cleanliness, education and fun for your children. Both of my children are developing and enjoying nursery each and every session. My son now asks for nursery and his friends which as a parent means the world. The staff are
incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, nothing is too much hard work for them! The meals they provide are healthy and fulfilling. The app they also provide is very useful to translate nursery activities to home. Thank you.

My name is Cathy and I am the Manager here at Busy Bees in Burton.


I have worked for Busy Bees since 2005, in this time I have progressed from a Nursery Nurse to a Nursery Manager. I have a Level 3 In Early Years Education and a Level 3 in Leadership and Management. I also hold certificates in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, First Aid at Work, Food Hygiene and a Level 1 In the British Safety Council The need and best interests of every single individual child are central to everything I do here at the nursery, and this is something that is well promoted to the team also. We work hard as a team to ensure that your child receives the best possible care whilst they enjoy their day at nursery. I really look forward to meeting you and starting your journey here with us at Burton.
