Footsteps Lichfield Nursery & Pre-School

We are over the moon with the care our son receives at Footsteps Lichfield. All of the staff in the baby room are warm, friendly and nurturing. Due to this the settling in process was much easier for both baby and parents. The room is cosy, the food is healthy and the overall feel of the nursery is homely. The communication is really good with the new app and all staff encourage popping in and calling at any time with questions or worries. Our baby loves being outdoors and this is another key reason we chose to send him here, each area of the nursery has its own outdoor space which they use regularly.

Fantastic nursery with amazing staff. Our girl is thriving in the baby room. The staff know the kids inside out and take beautiful care of them. Loads of fun each day with Indoor activities, messy play, Jo Jingles and some guinea pigs. Loads of opportunities for learning every day! The food is excellent too

Both of my children have attended Footsteps Hawthorn and loved/love it. The team are awesome! There's ample outside space and children are allowed to just be children which is really important. The activities are always enjoyed and well thought through. I've found the nursery has really supported my children's learning and development, it's taught them to interact with others outside of the home/family environment and laid a really strong foundation for primary school. I know my children are safe and cared for and that their needs are prioritised and that peace of mind is everything.

My youngest son has just finished preschool at Lichfield footsteps. My eldest started at Footsteps 6 years ago so we have had a long journey with them- which has been excellent. They were very helpful with my eldest's speech delay and any concerns/ queries were dealt with quickly. There's a lot of outdoor space which the children have particularly enjoyed!

I like that you can see what she has been eating and sleep times on the app and the observations and pictures they share.

This is the best nursery for our little boy he loves going here 3 days a week and I honestly cannot say one bad thing about the nursery or staff. All of the staff are so caring, loving and considerate to our babies' needs. Their structured development plans have assisted us in reaching his major milestones. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting here and it's great to see. Many evenings I go to pick him up and he's too busy having fun even to notice I am there! He also eats better than us every day with a great varied menu! We would definitely recommend Footsteps Lichfield for your little one. We went to view when I was pregnant and reserved a space which I would recommend as the spaces fill up fast.

I cannot recommend Footsteps Nursery enough. The support and care my daughter has received for the past 3+ years has been outstanding. She has come on leaps and bounds with the correct support from Footsteps and we cannot thank them enough!

The staff at Footsteps are exceptionally attentive, ensuring that each nursery day is filled with a wide variety of engaging activities. This level of dedication and care is evident in every aspect of the nursery's operation, from the thoughtfully planned schedules to the nurturing environment that they create for the children. Both of our children attend Footsteps, and it is clear that they eagerly look forward to their weekly sessions. The excitement and enthusiasm they show each week reflect the positive experiences they have while at the nursery.

Footsteps is a lovely nursery the staff are very friendly and show warmth, care and passion in meeting the children’s needs the management are always welcoming and keeps us up to date with any information or events via the app overall my son has settled well and enjoys his time at nursery.

After returning back to work in January as any mother you worry about how well your child is going to settle and my little boy absolutely loves nursery and the girls in the baby room. The girls are brilliant, caring and compassionate. We get updates throughout the day on what he's eaten and photos every now and again which is lovely to see. The outdoor spaces are also great for the children to explore.

The staff are incredibly friendly and clearly love working with the children. My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 10 months old. She is now 2.5 years and she has absolutely thrived. The staff are so personable, they are my daughter's best friends she's always talking about them! She has a number of allergies and I've always felt confident they will manage these as best they could, any concerns have always been taken very seriously and they still provide her with varied and nutritious meals despite her restrictive diet. Feel very comfortable with them caring for her.

He has settled so well with his key worker and the other members of staff, and we are so happy to see how much he enjoys the sessions.

We have two sons at Footsteps Hawthorn, one in the baby room and one in preschool. Our oldest has been here since baby room and during the last 3+ years, I can only say the nursery has been exemplary and outstanding. The activities are varied and culturally enriching, the food is nutritious, the site is surrounded by nature, and all the staff we have dealt with are considerate, polite, caring and mostly very immersed in each child's development. Our oldest son is a little shy and the staff make extra effort to involve him, whilst our youngest is a bit more outgoing and he has developed incredibly thanks to the care of the team members. The price is reasonable considering the local market also and we think it's value for money. COVID and other illnesses are handled and communicated well as are any required medicines. Our youngest needed an inhaler for a while and the staff eased our minds with their professionalism. All in all, nothing but great things to say and we are very thankful to them.

My son has started in the Rising 3's room at Footsteps and has been made to feel so welcome and secure in his surroundings. The staff have all been amazing and helped him settle in and adapt to a new environment and people so well. They have been so supportive with his behaviours which at times can be challenging and really made me feel reassured as a mum that he is in good hands.

My daughter has attended footsteps for just over a year and my son had attended previously. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough! They go above and beyond ensuring they have lots of fun and learn along the way. My daughter gets so excited to come and has formed a lovely bond with her keyworker. I love that it's a small nursery and definitely feel that because of this it allows more of a personal touch within the setting. Highly recommend 5*

My little boy has been with the nursery since January 2022 where he started in the babies room and has now moved up to the toddler room. We have always had such a positive experience with him being at Footsteps Lichfield. He builds such a loving bond with his key workers which just shows how comfortable he feels. Cannot recommend it enough.

Since starting at nursery my son has thrived. Not only does he enjoy every day, the staff really know him, not just his key worker. He eats all the food, loves the varied activities and is under excellent care and supervision. The app the nursery uses keeps us up to date with what is happening and it has allowed a smooth transition for me returning to work and for him to start in a new setting. I know he will continue to come on leaps and bounds.

The staff are really friendly and approachable. My son really enjoys going to nursery and always talks about the fun things he has done that day. As a parent, I feel I am well informed of everything that is happening and know my son is safe.

We have had a brilliant experience with Footsteps right from the baby room up to the currently rising threes. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and the kids are always so engaged. Well done Footsteps fantastic work.

My son started at Footsteps when he was one year old, so has been in the baby room, toddlers and now the rising 3s group. He really enjoys his time at the nursery and the lovely staff who work there. We have seen him grow in confidence and big improvements in his speech and social skills since he has been going. It's a lovely space, and we particularly value the outside space and forest school they have.
