Excellent nursery and preschool. Staff are friendly, knowledgable and form great relationships with the children. Both my children have attended Footsteps in Lichfield over the last four years and it will be a sad day when they finish. It's been a pleasure and I know my children love going each day.

Fantastic staff, excellent range of activities and day trips. My daughter has only joined a few weeks ago and is loving it - they have helped her settle and even got her sleeping better during the day, which has had a knock-on effect in the evenings when going to bed. Really good menu selections. Compares
much more favourably than other nurseries in Lichfield when looking at value for money.

A lovely nursery with friendly staff. The feedback at the end of the day is great as the staff go into detail about what the children have been doing during the day. The activities that are set out look really fun but the children also get a lot out of them. It's nice to have the learning book for us
parents to log onto and read about what our children get up to and to see pictures and videos.

I have always found the management and staff very accommodating, efficient and friendly. I leave every day knowing my son is in very good hands. My son has come on leaps and bounds since being at Footsteps, the staff work so hard to ensure all needs are met.
I would highly recommend this nursery to
anyone and highly praise all management and staff. Thank you to all.

Our little girl loves her time at Footsteps and particularly enjoys the Forestry School which is one of the reasons we chose Footsteps for our daughter; she loves being outdoors in all weathers and this nursery suits her perfectly!
The staff are very friendly and there is always lots of different
activities set out for the children every day.
We would definitely recommend this nursery and look forward to our youngest daughter starting in September!

Footsteps creates a friendly, welcoming environment for all children. The activities are always fun and my child looks forward to spending his days there. The staff are interactive and my child always speaks about his day at home. I'm happy that an outstanding service is provided.

Very happy with the staff and facilities. My son has settled in well and loves the forest school and all associated activities. I feel confident and comfortable leaving him and know that he is getting a good standard of care.

Hello, my name is Becky, and I have been working in the early years since 1996. I have been a Nursery Manager since 2014 and joined Footsteps in 2017.


I am level 5 qualified in early childhood and level 3 forest school.


I am passionate about the outdoors and believe that outdoor environments are essential to a child’s learning and development.


Our nursery offers activities, experiences, and opportunities for children to thrive, and our dedicated staff team cater for each child’s individual needs.

When I started working here at Lichfield Nursery, I was employed as a level 2 qualified nursery nurse, however, over the years I have developed my professional career within the company.


I have worked my way up to become a level 3 qualified nursery nurse, level 3 SENCO officer and Deputy Manager.


I am very dedicated to my job; I have a strong passion for planning challenging activities daily and watching children thrive in their learning and development.
