Overall Experience

Overall I'm satisfied with this nursery staff most of the time they are polite and helpful. Day to day activities are good. Nice and good outdoor play area. Menu is good. Convenient opening hours. Really like that there is an online access to my child's learning journey. Don't like that the kids do not have their own lockers or something similar, where we could keep all kids clothes and there wouldn't be a need to search for some items at the end of the day. And one more thing I don't like that the kids sleep on the floor/carpet there could be beds .

Overall Experience

Great nursery, very friendly, caring and attentive staff. Key workers know the children's needs. They are welcoming and care about the children as individuals also parents feel they can express their opinions. We can walk into the office and always be greeted with a smile and made welcome. Fantastic homemade food, well thought out menu, the best cook. Good range of learning and fun activities. Clean and lovely toys. All the ladies who look after our children are wonderful. Both daughters settled well into nursery. They love being there.

Welcome to Tiny Toez @ East Staffs! I’m Abi, and I am absolutely thrilled to be leading the wonderful team as the Childcare Manager. I bring a diverse background in early years leadership and operational management, specialising in creating safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environments where every child can thrive. My goal is to blend hands-on leadership with strong organisational standards to give your children the very best start in life.

What truly drives my practice is my specialised Level 5 in Special Needs Teaching, which holds a deeply personal significance for me. As a proud mum to an autistic child, I understand firsthand the unique rewards, challenges, and worries that families navigate. This lived experience gives me a profound empathy for parents and fuels my passion for inclusion. I am dedicated to mentoring our team to view every child as an individual, ensuring our nursery is a supportive, adaptive space for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

When I’m not at the nursery, I love spending quality time with my family and finding fun, creative ways to make early learning accessible for everyone. I operate a warm, open-door policy and am always here for a chat, a tour, or to support you through your child's journey. I can't wait to welcome your family into our wonderful community!

I have worked in Childcare for over 30 years. I started in a 10 place Social Services Day Nursery before transferring to Tiny Toez when they took over the Nursery.
I am a room leader in the Baby Room, a position that I enjoy very much.

I am a qualified NNEB and in my spare time I enjoy my holidays abroad and spending time with my family and friends.
