I would like to say Smileys Nursery has been absolutely amazing for our little boy. They have been incredibly supportive and informative, integrating our baby into nursery.
I, as a mum, found it difficult parting with my baby and having to return to work. However, the nursery has been so welcoming
and supportive to both me and our son's dad.
They give you time to explain everything and take on board any changes in naps and feeding. They have helped our little boy come on so much, especially with his eating and crawling.
We are forever grateful, we cannot thank you all enough. We trust you wholeheartedly with our pride and joy.

Could not be happier with Smileys! All of the staff are incredible, you can really tell they care about the children and their development.
Our daughter was offered settling-in sessions which helped with the transition of her starting properly.
The baby room is wonderful, so many things for the children
to play with which encourages learning new skills. At the end of each day the staff give us a form which breaks down our daughter's day so we are kept fully informed of everything she has done. Our daughter is always happy and smiling on pick up so we know she enjoys going and is looked after amazingly.

My son started in the toddler room and he has developed very well. He sits and eats his dinner independently. The teachers have done a wonderful job with him. His social skills have developed extremely well, he interacts with other children and adults. He has warmed to the preschool room and enjoys
it very much. I would like to see more potty training offered to the children to get them ready for school.

I started using the nursery in 2020 and it was the best decision ever. The staff at Smileys feel like aunties looking after my boys.
The service they provide is outstanding you can book according to your shift pattern. They had a challenging time with the building works which disrupted parents dropping
kids off but the manager was like a swan gliding effortlessly navigating through the challenges. With any new changes, there are always teething problems. The current management has brought in new ideas. Some might be questionable and l do hope they are considering the wellbeing of the staff when increasing capacity in the nursery as the rooms are still the same size and the impact it will have on the children packed in like sardines.

We've been with Smileys since our son was 6 months old. He's now 2 and a 1/2 and thriving well in the toddler room. He settled well and has always been excited to go in and play. My wife and I put this down to the amazing and friendly staff at the nursery. They always made us feel like we're part of
an extended family and nothing was ever too much for them. I struggle with anxiety, so starting our nursery journey was such a big deal for me. I've stressed through every big change we have had to face during our boy's first few years. But Smileys have supported us all the way. Their transition process was smoothly ran, with the two rooms showing great communication with one another. Our boy moved up with one of the staff that cared for him within the baby room during his initial settling-in. After which, he attended a couple more on his own. Both rooms have listened to all my reservations and fears, along the way and always made sure we were happy with his care. We couldn't ask for a better nursery!

My child loves going to nursery! The staff are always friendly and do a great job with making each day enjoyable.
There are so many different areas for them to learn and explore, the child often comes home talking about their day and all their friends they have played with.

My daughter has been going to Smileys for over a year now, and every time the care for my daughter has been excellent. Staff are always very welcoming and helpful. A positive atmosphere and full of smiles. I don't have a bad word to say about Smileys.

My son absolutely loves going to preschool four days a week. The girls are amazing and have been amazing with my son since joining the toddler room. We get regular updates on progression along with daily updates when I collect him. He loves exploring in the garden and is slowly trying to do more activities
inside. His confidence has grown so much, especially understanding that not all children are the same as him and like to be slightly more gentle, than rough and tumble. I would certainly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Having heard such positive comments about Smileys Nursery from friends and family, I knew it was a nursery I wanted to view for my son, from the first viewing I had about a year ago, I knew I wanted him on the waiting list to start September 2023. Settling in was tough for my son, but with the caring
nature of all the staff members and the lovely environment, my son has settled better than I could have imagined and now dropping him off fills me with confidence as he goes in super happy and will happily wonder off with any of the ladies who come to the door. Smileys have been really accommodating with my son, that I couldn't image him going anywhere else and I will be sad when he leaves for school! I love that the preschool room is spacious, with enough areas for all the children to explore. There are plenty of toys and resources for the children to play with and for their imaginations to run wild! The outdoor space is great too with different areas for exploration. My son is very happy here!

I'm very happy with the service provided by the nursery. My child (as was a previous child who attended) is very happy with all aspects of her experience there, and the staff are outstanding.
Management seemed to cope well without the main manager, but now she's back, they'll have a captain with a
steady hard on the letter yet again.
The good options have gone a bit ropey on some days, but that's the hospital's fault.
Overall, a brilliant childcare facility with consistent staff who focus on personal development alongside education, the latter of which they don't have to do, but do anyway. Bravo all!

We couldn't ask for a better nursery for our children to attend. They have an outstanding understanding of the importance of every child and have helped both of our children thrive, achieving over what was predicted for them. They understand the needs of LAC and PLAC children and provide great support
to families for this.

My children have recently settled into Smileys, a nursery which came highly recommended by friends and colleagues. We are very happy with our decision to send them to Smileys, the staff are all very welcoming and take a genuine interest in the babies and children in their care, we have received lovely
explanations of their learning and development, along with some photos showing us how much fun they are having. We value Smileys’ commitment to learning through play and nature, this aligns with our beliefs as parents. The classrooms are warm and inviting, and the activities on offer are varied and lots of fun. We would happily recommend this nursery, it’s a real hidden gem!

My daughter has gone to Smileys since the age of six months old and is now due to leave in September for school. Smileys has been fantastic. I cannot fault any of the staff. My daughter loves all the staff and enjoys going there. They are brilliant at keeping me up to date on what she is learning. Best
