Partou Alexandra Day Nursery & Pre-School

Absolutely fantastic nursery and pre-school. My daughter has been going since she was 9 months old and absolutely loves her time there. All of the staff are wonderful and clearly care for all of the children who attend.. I will be very sad when my daughter leaves to attend school in September 2025.

My Daughter has been attending here since last year, and settled in amazingly. The team are nurturing, kind and take a real interest in the children. Would happily recommend this nursery to anyone! Thank you

Couldn't recommend Partou enough to people. My little girl absolutely loves going and always has. All the staff are super friendly and you can see they enjoy what they do. Activities are varied with plenty of time outdoors enjoying the garden space.

I'm happy with the nursery, I brought my son here from his previous setting and he's so much better! He doesn't cry when going anymore, he likes to go to nursery and it's great for me to see! They tell me everything he's done that day and he's always happy! My twins will be going soon too!

I could not recommend a better nursery with a better manager and team that this one. So grateful. Thankyou all.

The nursery is lovely and all the staff are great and very friendly. I was a bit worried about my girl as she was used to 'one to one' for so long but didn't take long to get settled. It's my second child going through here and couldn't be happier! Keep up the good work

Highly reccomend. Warm staff and strong positive leadership team. Good flexible approach with hours. Both my children have attended and settled in really well, feel at ease leaving my children with the staff.

Excellent nursery and preschool. My grandson has attended since a small baby and has been looked after exceptionally well, the staff are so kind and caring and is well supported now going into his preschool stage.

I can not express how amazing she has progressed since day one of being a part of such a wonderful nursery and the fun she has had along the way, she came on leap and bounds straight away and that's all thanks to the wonderful staff. The staff: Kind, caring, great communication with us, fun and the love they show the children is perfect. I can not thank them enough and my little girl is forever talking about how much she loves them all, as a parent I feel so happy to leave my child in such safe hands and would highly recommend this nursery to everyone. I remember dropping her off for the first time, I sobbed but the reassurance I was given was fantastic and since that day I am forever grateful to them all.

I have had 3 children at Smiley's Creche so we have been here since 2016! From day 1 they made us feel part of the Nursery/Family, and they have given the children a wonderful environment to learn. The staff are so supportive, even with additional needs identified for my daughter they were so happy to put additional help in place to ensure she had a smooth start and she continues to thrive in every room she has been to. The staff genuinely care for the children, they know everyone by name and are so welcoming in the mornings my little girl dances in with such happiness. There is no real staff turn over most have been here for years and love to care for the children. The ethos of the nursery is nature-based, with wooden toys, lots of outdoor activities, and room for children to grow and explore. There is a little library too to encourage reading with soft quiet areas. There is so much flexibility and I recommend this nursery to all my friends, so trustworthy.

This is reflected in the conversations I have with my little one who often talks about the ladies who care for him and the wonderful experiences he has had.

Our daughter has been at Smiley’s since she was 1 (she’s now 3) and absolutely loves it. She is so excited for nursery days and happily skips in. She has lots of fun there and is absolutely thriving. The staff always greet us with a big smile and have a great level of professionalism and care. They know the children so well and embrace their individual characters (ours is quite a strong one). They give you a full rundown of the day when you pick them up and are never in a rush for us to go. They are really supportive of different stages such as potty training or a new sibling coming along and gave us lots of valuable tips. We use reusable nappies and although they weren’t used to them they were happy to use them at nursery with support. We love the nature-based ethos of the nursery with the wooden toys and lots of outdoor play. The management is professional, present and passionate about looking after and developing children. Our second daughter starts soon, we can’t wait.

I have used Smileys Nursery for two of my children over the last four years now. I absolutely love all the staff that work here. I feel that they always listen to me and take on board any requests that I have. During the settling-in period, I rang multiple times just to check that my son was ok. They always reassured me and never made me feel silly for ringing. My experience of all the other rooms has been great during the time my eldest attended. I would recommend this nursery to all of my friends. The girls are kind, caring and considerate, and I love the flexibility within the nursery. The girls make me and my partner feel like our children are genuinely loved. My youngest loves going to Smileys Nursery, and my eldest loves to pop back in to visit the girls!

All the staff are very aware of each of my grandchildren’s emotional needs and their individual characters and bring out the best in them all. It always feels like a happy place and I have always been confident that they are being well looked after.

I can't thank or recommend Smileys enough. With very little notice they were able to provide a pre-school space for my son, after a huge circumstance change. They were and still are extremely accommodating, especially as my son was very anxious about going to pre-school and would get separation anxiety. With all the perseverance and brilliant communication, he now loves pre-school. The whole team are extremely supportive and dedicated to helping all the children develop, which I have definitely noticed in my son as his confidence, speech, comprehension and numeracy skills have vastly improved since starting at Smileys.

My children have attended Smileys for the last eight years now and honestly, they’ve been like a second family! The ladies treat every child like their own and have given them such a head start before attending first school. Plenty on the premises for the children to learn from. Would recommend this nursery to everyone, your child will make some great memories!

The absolute best thing about this nursery is the staff. Once we got to know them, it was like leaving my son with a friend on drop-off. They are such a lovely, caring and very experienced bunch of staff. I would recommend them to anyone!
