Funding & Fees
For Nursery and Pre-School, the full-time termly charge is £4,392 (VAT exempt), and for those not attending full-time, the daily charge is £82.00 (7.45 am – 6.00 pm).
We offer between 15 and 30 hours funding through the Government Scheme for children aged 2+ until the term in which they turn 5. This support will reflect the prevailing Government regulations and is subject to a minimum of two days per week.
Wraparound care from 7.45 am – 6.00 pm daily
A mid-morning snack consisting of milk or water and fruit
A choice of hot and cold lunch
After-School clubs run by RGS Staff (there is an additional cost if an external person runs the club)
Tuition including specialist teaching in Music, Computing, French, Games and PE
All stationery and textbooks

Our daughter started at RGS The Grange in January 2021. The nursery is a nurturing, wonderful place for our daughter to start her school journey. The detailed communication we receive is fantastic and the activities on offer are extensive. The staff are caring and always welcome us with a warm smile. We cannot praise the nursery enough.

This nursery offers everything, the open days are fantastic but once my child started attending The Grange he has excelled. The staff are wonderful and attentive to my son's needs and truly do care.

Lack of use of technology, as experienced in smaller settings, in relation to feedback on child eg use of say tapestry platform.
Change in use of day diaries understood in terms of logic (time resource), but in reality, whiteboard hard to read in dark and absent parents unable to keep track of child's routine / experiences. When working full time (to pay the fees !) the day diary was an opportunity to feel connected when unable to be present. A small change but a big difference to those already feeling immense guilt of not being present at daily pick up or drop off. As noted above could be solved by use of technology potentially.
My daughter started her RGS journey in nursery and is now in prep, my son also began his RGS journey in nursery almost 18 months ago and loves every moment at The Grange.
The staff offer care, kindness and warmth to the children in a setting that is simply perfect. I am overwhelmed by the daily activities that the children undertake, the facilities both inside and outside are second to none. My children will always come home beaming with smiles and telling me about their day.
I couldn't be more happy knowing that my children are settled, happy and thriving in a wonderful school and would highly recommend The Grange to everyone.
Different activities every day. My son always greats me with a beaming smile on his face and cannot wait to tell me about his day. He is learning so much and has come on leaps and bounds!

My granddaughter who is now 3 has been going to RGS The Grange for 18 months and absolutely loves it! She especially enjoys the music session. There are a wide variety of toys for all ages and she has developed her social skills by mixing with other children. Highly recommended.
