A special thank you to the manger and baby room staff - they are amazing and always take the time to answer all our questions and queries. We really appreciate everything you all do!

This is such a great nursery with very friendly and helpful staff. It's quite a scary thing to leave your child when they are so young but from the start I knew my son would be safe there. The staff in the baby room go above and beyond to help the baby's settle in and also to keep parents updated. Thank you to all the staff you are all amazing!!

My daughter has been attending YMCA nursery for a few years, this nursey is Excellent! Sarah the manager has made massive improvements and is always very observant and attentive. All the colleagues are very kind and welcoming and truly care. I have seen massive improvements in my daughter with regards to listening and literacy and she always eats her meals in full that have been prepared by the nursery. The nursery is very modern and very clean and they have a large selection of educational learning and skill building toys. Overall this is a 5 star nursery and I have recommended this nursey to all of my mummy friends. Thank you to all of the colleagues for an amazing journey :)

I can't sing the praises of the teachers and everyone enough,they really do go above and beyond for my child and I can see her thriving everyday thank you so much.

Before she started she was very shy and not confident and now she has excelled and doing wonderful and she is also happier in herself.

My son started last year and loves going in. He's always happy to see the staff. My daughter has recently started and she is always reaching out for staff and smiling when she gets picked up. I'm told everyday that all she does is smile. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery

My daughter has been going here since November 2024 & she absolutely loves it here. The staff have been incredible with her from day one, so welcoming & genuinely caring. My daughter is a big character & they allow her to be her full self, whilst still teaching her important values such as patience and kindness. The staff are always on hand to talk & support where they can. She runs in without even looking back most days, she talks about it everyday, she has made so many friends & the staff are such a vital part of her life. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough. Amazing!!

My daughter started attending the nursery in 2023 and I have had positive experiences. The teachers are very helpful and gentle with my daughter and I have noticed positive improvement with my daughter. I especially appreciate how approachable and supportive the nursery manager is. I value her great communication and listening skills especially with my daughter who sometimes proves difficult to deal with. The manager's demonstration of care and kindness towards the children is one of a kind and she has made the nursery environment more welcoming, and enjoyable for the children. Good works to the manager!!

The manager has made massive improvements in the nursery, she is welcoming to any parent and she truly cares for the children. All the staff are lovely and I can't express how much they genuinely ensure my child is well looked after and enjoys her days. The manager and another member of staff have been incredible with my daughter and it honestly feels like all the staff care for the children they look after!

Great nursery that has the care and needs of our children at heart. The nursery has help with the overall wellbeing and development of my daughter. The staff are amazing, welcoming, professional and friendly.

Excellent staff and always there to help and support and have a chat if needed. Really accommodating to each needs, starting from the beginning of the day the staff are smiling till the end and keep you up to date with everything

YMCA City Gateway have been amazing with my daughter, and her allergy needs. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they truly have made her (and the whole family) feel welcome. The staff are all friendly and can tell they care about the children, we are really lucky to be part of this nursery.

My Granddaughter started this Nursery after going to another Nursery & she has excelled so much, she has sensory issues & emotional issues & they are fantastic with her, patient & fully feel supported by all staff, I look after her when her Mommy is working & they are always warm & welcoming it is a fantastic nursery & my grandaughter is 100% happy & content. My daughter as a mom also feels supported by them which is fantastic.

The teachers are all lovely, always help where and when they can, supportive and understanding.

My son started at YMCA Nursery in the middle of September, 2023 after his previous nursery closed down, giving me a day's notice. My experience with this nursery has been absolutely brilliant. The staff in the baby room are brilliant, very prompt in dealing with any issues. Management and deputy are also amazing. It's a well-led, caring environment, safe, and very responsive. As a mother, these are all qualities I look for. I would definitely recommend this YMCA Nursery to anyone. To all the staff, please continue to keep working hard, because it is very much appreciated, especially your dedication and commitment.

Lovely staff, relate well to the kids and really caring. They always give up to date information on the children and activities done. The security is very good and makes me feel that the kids are safe.

Facilities are outstanding, and there really is a family feel that warms you!

My daughter attends I find it the best nursery around, staff are great, friendly, polite. My child as always comes home clean and happy and not found this standard at another like this, very pleased with the staff and nursery.
