Kids Planet Henley 1 is conveniently situated in Henley Green. Since opening in 2002, it has built a great reputation amongst families in the local community and offers care for babies, tots and toddlers, with pre-school childcare being offered at a sister setting in the same area (Henley 2).

Part of the Kids Planet Group, the nursery follows the mission statement "working together to inspire your world". Through a collaborative approach, the team work closely with families to provide the best care to all children who join the setting. They recognise the differences in each child and ensure they provide experiences and opportunities that encourage them to excel in their personal and social development.

The nursery is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5.30pm and offers sessional and part time places.

Kids planet is the best nursery I've ever seen. My eldest daughter went to two nurseries and we just had to settle whereas with our second we decided to take our time and assess options.


We came across kids planet and from the tour we was sold. The staff are amazing, the energy and attitude is second

to none. My daughter has excelled and gains so much confidence since being here we could not be any happier.


Thank you to all the staff at kids planet Henley. You guys are amazing!

Our son started with the nursery in March. He is now 11 months old and has come on leaps and bounds since starting here. The staff are all friendly, caring and informative. They do a range of sensory play already, including painting and water play. They go outside every day to play in the garden. The
outdoor space is good but no green area or woodland which I would like. The room is well equipped with a separate, calm sleep space. They were happy to follow our baby's routine. They have Alexas in the room to play music which is lovely. There are regular day trips - our son has been to the park and library already in two months of being at the nursery 3 days a week. There is a good range of food and safeguarding wise they have a porch before a secure front door and each room has it's own code to gain entry which only staff have access to. Any accidents are documented and we are made aware either by phone call or on collection. Overall we love the nursery and are very happy with them.

Lovely staff, always a warm welcoming and that gives me a sense of relief that my little boy is going to have a really nice day. He loves going into his room. I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my son, even on the day of visiting the nursery I seen how comfortable my son took to it, since being at the nursery he has absolutely loved it, how the staff have handled him has been great, he struggled leaving me at first and now he still gets lil upset but
he settles straight away, staff are great and he talks about them by name when he at home. He has came along so much by being there. I appreciate all the staff

Fabulous childcare facility. Lots of information given via the app. Love seeing what my child has been doing, how much she is loving being at nursery. Celebrating any days that are on, how they celebrate it. It's good to see the info really enjoy reading through.

Choosing a nursery is always difficult, however, Kids Planet Henley Road is amazing, I will recommend it to anyone and send any future children there too.
The food is fantastic and varied, the app/updates are great for peace of mind and the activities and learning they do are amazing (I've really
seen my little one come on since starting there).
My boy started there at 1 and is now almost 18 months old. He was very nervous to go, but the staff there have had patience and nurtured him into loving it.

Excellent nursery my child is always well looked after and l am happy leaving them as l know they are in a safe environment.
All the staff are very friendly, kind experienced and give their all.

Amazing nursery. My boy has become so confident and has really come on with his speech since being at Henley Kids Planet. The staff are amazing.

My little girl absolutely loves going to this nursery. The staff are so bubbly and attentive to every child. My little girl can not wait for the day to start just so she can go to nursery and never wants to leave.
You get updates throughout the day via the app and at the end of each day you get an
update from staff of their day.
My daughter has learnt to fully walk and coming along with her speech due to the staff at the nursery. The staff work with the family to if you require any help or a listening ear. One of the best nurseries around and would highly recommend this nursery. 5 stars all around, with learning, caring, informative and general kindness. Thank you for all you have done for both my girls.

Nursery has been exceptional over the course of 3 years. Helped our little one develop into an independent, confident child ready for school next week. Staff at Kids Planet are truly brilliant with such a variety of activities for the children. You have given our daughter our fantastic foundation!

They are a fantastic nursery that goes above and beyond for children in their care. My daughter goes in and comes out smiling every day and staff have worked hard to build a trusting, caring relationship with her. I feel confident leaving my child in their care and communication with parents is excellent.

Fab nursery! My son has attended this nursery since the age of 1, he absolutely loves it here, the staff are kind and compassionate. He formed a close bond with one member of staff. The only fault I would say is moving him to the sister nursery once aged 3, this made me very sad as I know he bonded
well at Kids Planet 1.

The staff are lovely and very understanding. I like how they always have activities for the kids so they try new things and organise little trips. My daughter loves it there and always talks about what she has been up to.

Very attentive staff and friendly and caring, the staff is great with my child. As my child has some special needs they ensure they my child is inclusive, my child is always happy to go to nursery. The staff are great.

My son attended the setting 5+ years ago and my foster child has been attending since January this year. It was a no-brainer as my first experience was so positive. I have built a great relationship with all the staff as has the child in my care and his development in such a short space of time is a
credit to what a great job they all do. Nothing is ever too much but most importantly it is a home away from home. My children spent nearly 10 hours a day here to enable me to work and I couldn't choose a better bunch of people to help me raise them. This is also evident in their staff retention as a majority of the staff are the same and many have worked there for 10+ years. The children have a great variety of activities throughout the day and often take days out to the park and library. They honestly just do an amazing job and I would recommend them over and over again.

My son has settled in really well and has a big smile for the staff every drop off, he enjoys all the different activities the staff set out in the room. Staff are very loving and the care he receives is amazing, I can drop him off and know he is having the best day with caring loving staff.

Kids Planet have been amazing from day one with my son! It’s an overwhelming process going from spending every day with your child to ending maternity and letting them go, but straight away they made me and my husband feel confident and cared for and that our son would be in the best hands- and that
is true! He is a wild child, but the team have been amazing and nurturing and helping him to develop and encouraging him! The staff in Babies 1 and Babies 2 are a credit to Kids Planet and we can not thank them enough for taking care of our little heart!
My child has multiple allergies too and they have been great accommodating this. The updates on the app are amazing and the communication has been fantastic! The manager is brilliant too - always there to greet you at drop off and pick up and is super friendly and helpful!
You can tell the staff actually care about the children and they know my child so well and that is really important when you’re entrusting your child with others!

Happy for my child to be here. Staff work hard to make time here fun and interesting for child. They promote independence and have been very supportive with potty training. My child has really warmed to staff, who show a great deal of care. Outdoor facilities could be improved, but overall happy with

My child has been attending the nursery since he was approximately 9 months old. He has always been excited about going to nursery. Over the last year he has been really supported in terms of his speech and language development and the nursery have adapted their skills to help encourage and support
him to be able to flourish. My son will now come home and tell me the things he has done in the day and will mention staff names, of whom he has enjoyed playing with, it’s a pleasure to hear him trying to tell his story and interpretation of the day.
