Our son has been with Busy Bees since the start of the year and we have been really pleased with his development over the last few months. The teams involved do great work to give him different opportunities to play both indoor and outdoor and work on skills he might not always be able to at home. They
have built a fantastic relationship with him, and he loves going in the few times a week he is there. We are happy with the food options provided, giving a variety of healthy meals that he enjoys with help from the teams. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a great place for their child to grow!

Our son started at Busy Bees just before his 1st birthday and will leave for school at thr end of this month. We have no prior engagement with any nurseries as he is our first and only child so I can't really compare to any other nursery but what I can say is Busy Bees Walsgrave Coventry is absolutely
brilliant, the staff, the facilities, the convenience of the opening hours, the education programme, the care they show to each individual child. It's surely 2nd to none. If/when we have another child without a doubt we will again use Busy Bees. We can't really thank them enough for their amazing hardwork and dedication. Our son has grown developed and turned from a baby to a confident little boy and Busy Bees can take at least some Credit for that. Each team member is different but they all share the same ethos and they genuinely care about all the children. The staff is the main thing that makes this nursery so great and they really are an absolutely amazing bunch of people.

Both of my boys have attending busy bees at UHCW from 2018-2025.
There experiences there have been amazing and they have loved going to the nursery and were well equipped and prepared for starting school when they left. Both of my boys have at times required additional support with things such as
physio, wearing glasses and unknown allergies investigations - Staff have been amazing supporting my children during these times. They are warm, welcoming and nurturing. Communication between staff and parents is excellent, facilities and activities the children are expensed to is great as well. Thank you Busy Bees UHCW for taking such great care of my boys :)

Our child has recently graduated from busy bees from being there from 9 months old until 4 years and can honestly say they have loved every minute. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond making us feel really secure in knowing our child is safe there. They have come on so well with communication,
social skills and learning due to the curriculum provided by busy bees. The app is also excellent and informative and updated regularly during the nursery day. To top off the experience, Special consideration was also taken for their graduation ceremony with thoughtful ideas, speeches and gifts which showed the loving nature of this nursery and the staff that make it. Throughly enjoy our experience with busy bees and rate the leadership team and staff very highly here

Busy bees walsgrave site is an excellent nursery. My son has been at this nursery since he was 8 months old and is now 2.
There communication with me as a parent is excellent, I have full sight of what my son has been doing on a daily basis and how he is progressing.
The staff are all really friendly
when I arrive to drop off and pick up.
The staff in the room where my son currently is are lovely, they have built up an excellent relationship with my son, which is so reassuring when dropping him off each morning.
The curriculum for the room is clear to see on the door and what to expect in terms of learning and development., which is helpful for me at home supporting this and encouraging him with certain things like drinking from an open cup.

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees University Hospital for nearly 2 years now and is thriving. The food provided is really varied which she enjoys. The rooms are clean and staff are very approachable. My daughter was a very shy 2 year old and would rather play on her own and interact with adults
instead of children her own age. Now, she really enjoys playing with her friends and telling us their names and what she has been up to at nursery/preschool. Her social skills and general development has really improved with the help of the staff here. They are very friendly and we look forward to watching our son grow when he starts next year.

Our son has been attending this nursery for some time now and we are happy with the care and support he receives. He has formed a lovely bond with his key workers, who have played an important role in his emotional and physical development. The staff supported him through toilet training with patience
and encouragement, making the process feel natural and positive. We always receive helpful day-to-day handovers, and more detailed, thoughtful feedback is shared through regular reports. It's clear the team knows him well and they are always a joy to read. Our son often talks about his key workers at home, which shows how much he enjoys his time there. It's been amazing to watch our little one grow in confidence, develop social skills, and come home excited to tell us about their day. Most importantly, he is happy, safe, and thriving in a warm and friendly environment. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a happy, supportive place for their child to thrive!

From the start, the whole experience with Busy Bees has been so seamless. Especially for our first child, everything has been explained clearly, any instructions from us as parents has been followed and the transition for our son has been so well managed.

My daughter has been attending Busy Bees since she was 9 months old. After being diagnosed with a medical condition just before her 1st birthday, the staff and management have gone above & beyond to cater for my daughter's need. They always take on board advice given to them & have worked really well
with external agencies to ensure my little girl has the best care.
As anxious parents, we look back now and can see that sending her to Busy Bees was the best decision we made, despite living some distance away. The amount she has development since attending nursery has been more than we could have imagined.
We can't thank the staff enough for all they have done for her- she loves coming into nursery and that is all we could have asked for.

Our child has been attending busy bees since 9 months of age and he's now almost 4. He loves going to nursery, we've never had any issues at drop off, and he loves the selection of food and toys and activities. I have dropped a couple of stars for outside space as I wish there was more of a muddy/tree
area as my child loves this type of play, but he accesses it outside of nursery and enjoys lots of outside time at busy bees still.
Communication with parents is excellent and each room transition has been seamless because of the interval communication. I would highly recommend this setting and have already enrolled my next child from the age of 6 months.

We've had a wonderful experience with Busy bees , and we couldn't be happier with the care and attention our child has received. From the very beginning, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and incredibly nurturing. They made the transition into nursery life smooth and stress-free, not only for our
child but for us as parents as well.
The environment is safe, clean, and thoughtfully designed to encourage learning through play. There's a great balance between structure and creativity-our child comes home each day excited about new things they've discovered, whether it's a craft project, a song, or an outdoor adventure.

We have two children in Busy Bees UHCW, with our daughter starting there nearly 3 years ago. We cannot sing its praises highly enough- The staff and management are wonderful, the food is balanced and tasty (so say the children) and the environment and facilities are modern, clean and stimulating. We are very happy with busy bees and they care they provide for our son. They do lots of different activities that support our son's development and do regular observations, feeding back on his development with areas to focus on. They provide a nutritional, balanced diet and updates on what he has eaten
daily. The staff are all so friendly and caring, he always seems so happy at nursery when we collect him.

Our family has been sending our kids since 2020. Our older son thrived with the help of all the key people - both academically and socially. Our younger son enjoys his time at nursery. They have both been well looked after and entertained with lots of activities that have helped enhance all aspects

Hi, I’m Claire and I am the Centre Director here at Busy Bees University Hospital.


I have worked with young children for over 25 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and completed my Early Years Professional status in September 2011. I lived in South Africa for 26 years and relocated with my family, to the UK in 2006. My son is a Bio-Chemist. My husband and I enjoy playing golf together and cycling. I thoroughly enjoy decorating. I am extremely passionate about what I do and truly committed to ensuring each child receives an outstanding, high quality experience during their years with us at Busy Bees University Hospital.
