Westwood Day Nursery (Coventry)

Despite my son's regular and long attendance at this nursery, the progression to another room threw him, making morning drop offs a difficult and stressful situation. Needless to say, the staff picked up on this and have been outstanding in assisting us to adjust to the new room. A massive thank you to management and the room staff for their continued efforts and support. Another example of how this nursery excels in assisting individuals' needs and works with parents to meet these needs. Thank you.

I am very happy to see my son's progress here. I was concerned before starting day care whether my son would receive that same attention, but I am pleased to say that I have no concerns now. My son looks forward to going to nursery every day and when I pick him up in the evening he is always so joyful.

I have two children that attended Westwood Day Nursery one in Caterpillars and one in Bumblebee's. They have both been attending the nursery since a young age and love it. They both have a good bond with their key worker and all staff at nursery know the children and greet them every day. My children enjoy the activities and also love the dance lady and music man that come to nursery weekly. I highly recommend Westwood Day Nursery as both my children are really happy.

My child has been attending Westwood Day Nursery since September 2016. The staff have been brilliant, welcoming my daughter and settling her into nursery. My daughter has a close bond with all staff in her room, especially her key worker. My daughter is really happy at nursery, enjoying all the activities and experiences that comes with the nursery. She also enjoys all the messy play activities that are facilitated by staff and also enjoys her rooms garden. I feel I have a good relationship with the nursery which I feel, as a parent, is very important. There is an open door policy at the nursery and feel all staff and management are always available to help. I would recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending Westwood Day Nursery for 6 months now and he absolutely enjoys it there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and always inform us of what our child has been up to. They have various activities both inside and out to keep the children entertained which is also a clean and safe environment. Our child started when he turned 3 years old and he seems to have developed quite rapidly since starting nursery as he's talking a lot more as he learns new things. My son started just before he turned two and English isn't his native language. Since day one all the staff, not only his key worker, have been trying their hardest to improve his language skills and integrate with other children. My son is a very picky eater and workers are going the extra mile trying to keep him full and happy. When we request one off things it is never ignored, they make sure it is done as we like. It's a very secure environment, and my son is really enjoying the dance lady and the music man. We are very very happy and satisfied with out choice! Thank You!

I think that Westwood Day Nursery has good staff for taking care and educating the children, a good environment for children to play, to learn, and to make friends with others. Thus, I am pleased to recommend this nursery to my friends.

This is the best nursery in Coventry. The staff are all amazing and really carrying and they are always worried about the development, state of mind and health of the kids that they look after. I can’t thank all the staff at the nursery enough for the quick response and care they put into looking after my child when he had a medical emergency (febrile convulsion) at nursery. They even got complimented by the ambulance staff that attend the incident.

All the staff are always really friendly and caring and the management team are quick to react when there are things that I’m worried about or need improving. My son is always eager to go to nursery in the morning and his report at the end of the day tells me that he always has an amazing day. I can tell from his development that he gets encouraged to learn and try new things on a daily basis but he is also encourage to pursue his interests.

I am very confident that when I go to work my son is in the best hands with the staff at Westwood Day Nursery.
