I have been a part of The Nest family since 2018 when my older 2 children attended. It was never a question of where my youngest would attend, as The Nest Nursery has always been the obvious choice for our family. The Nest is an incredibly trustworthy, caring and nurturing environment. All staff are amazing and genuinely invest in all children's happiness and wellbeing. I cannot recommend The Nest enough. I am so grateful for the care, support, and dedication all staff have shown to my children over the years. The Nest is truly amazing!

I was told about The Nest by a family member. I was hesitant about sending my child anywhere, but Nest was so accommodating and supportive. My child was teary and emotional in the beginning but the settling in sessions really helped. Fast forward 2 years and nursery had become such a huge part of her life and routine. She would pick her outfits and hair accessories the night before.

Teachers are incredibly kind, sensitive and easy to communicate with. Lots of love to our keyworker Jenny - fairy keyworker, everyone in admin and manager Halleema for making my child's nursery and formative years such a great experience.

My daughter has attended The Nest since she was 9 months old and graduates today aged 4.5. We have loved every minute. The trips, the garden, the play, the forest school, the music lady.
I can't recommend this nursery enough, the staff are caring and engaged with every child.
The garden is fantastic, so much to do and explore.

We have loved The Nest. Best nursery in Birmingham.

Couldn't have asked for more from a nursery, from food to support when needed. I know my son will always have a good day and learn/develop each day. Really lovely, friendly staff too.

I cannot recommend The Nest Nursery highly enough. Leaving our second child at the nursery I am confident that the amazing individual approach is what makes this place so special. The attentive and professional staff are caring and patient during transition time and a wonderful bond built with my son's key workers helped with the settling-in process. The environment in which they play and learn could not be better and includes a wide variety of activities, developmental accessories and learning sessions that have a great impact on my son's speech, social skills, and confidence. The communication is excellent - I feel well informed about my child's daily routine. I am also very grateful for help and support with potty training and allergy related dietary requirements. Thank you Nest Nursery!

We continue to be very pleased with the care our daughter receives at The Nest. The staff know each of the children's individual needs and strive to provide the best care and nurturing for all who attend the setting. My daughter's key worker always shows such care and warmth, and knows my daughter's likes and dislikes to the finest detail! I am very pleased with how the staff at The Nest support my child's early development with regular observations and parent meetings. We love it at The Nest.

My little one joined the nursery in September when I returned to work and the nursery staff have made the transition easy. He loves going to nursery and learnt lots being there.
The curiosity approach is embedded throughout the provision giving children real life objects to explore safely. He's loved playing in the huge sandpit, playing in the role play kitchen and all the other activities.
Parents are kept well informed through the app, although there can be a delay in the uploads.
I have been particularly impressed with the quality of the food provided. My baby is only one so we limit salt and no sugar at home and the nursery are the same. Following all current guidance around offering starters not just puddings and offering second courses. He loves the food!
We're both teachers and would highly recommend this nursery.

The only negative is you can't swap days.

I cannot fault the Nest Nursery in any kind of way. Since the day my daughter started, they have shown her so much kindness and care, even in the SMALLEST of details. Amaiyah spoke very early whilst at nursery and they continued to allow her to develop at that rate until now. I cannot thank them enough honestly. The Nest nursery was the best decision I made for her.

Overall Experience

We feel incredibly lucky that our children have had the opportunity to be part of the Nest. They both adore their Nest teachers and have built long-lasting friendships within the loving, nurturing and inclusive environment that the Nest provides.

We are so impressed with all the staff at the Nest - their warmth, empathy, playfulness and enthusiasm are truly remarkable.

They have also been incredibly supportive and have helped us and our children to navigate a difficult period in our lives - their kindness, flexibility and understanding have meant so much to us and have helped us massively.

The Nest's approach has also helped our children develop so much and really shine! We can't speak highly enough of their focus on child-led discovery, imaginative play and social-emotional development - a 'home-from-home' experience that values children's individuality and well-being.

We couldn't be more grateful to the Nest for their generous and insightful input into our children's lives.

Overall Experience

We have been using the Nest Nursery - Wood End, for almost 6 years. It has a lovely, calm and nurturing environment, and the staff and management really care about not only your child, but you as a family unit. The house has a variety of areas to play in and a large exciting garden to encourage imagination. My children have had access to a wide range of experiences away from the nursery setting too, including forest school, family trips to the beach, theatre and to the local shop, exposing them to valuable life skills. The staff keep you up to date with photos and stories from the day and there is regular feedback to discuss your child's progress and development. They cater well to dietary requirements and make sure that children are safe, but not left out during meal times and if they're doing a baking activity. It is reassuring knowing that when you have to work, your child is safe and loved. Can't thank the team enough!

The staff at The Nest settled my little boy incredibly, with so much care and compassion. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The environment provided is so homely and inviting, with the children's learning at the forefront. All children are encouraged to be independent, and their individual autonomy is valued. The admin is also extremely knowledgeable and helpful with fees and funding.

My daughter has attended the nest since she was around 9 months, she is now 4 and ready to fly the nest.
The nest has impacted our lives in such a positive way. Forest school and the curiosity approach has really encouraged her independence with a true and love for being outside.
My daughter often comes home excited to share how her day has been. The nurturing environment, caring and friendly staff have allowed her to thrive.

I am so grateful to all the staff for showing unconditional support, love and care over the years. You have created a wonderful environment to allow all children to grow in creativity and confidence. You will all be missed!
