The Nest Nursery Copper Beech

It is hard to express in words how wonderful this nursery is. We have had two children attend over the past 5 years and the youngest continues to attend. He is very happy and settled and the staff know him, and each child in their care, inside out. We are confident in every aspect of the care provided and have been impressed by all the staff, many of whom are very long serving which is always a good sign. The range of activities is vast, with so much creativity. Our son loves the visiting music sessions especially and enjoys every minute spent in the garden which has had a lot of time and money invested into making it a really special outdoor space. The home cooked food appears excellent and nutritious. Our eldest son left to start school in September and was encouraged in all aspects of self-care to help prepare him for the transition to school (which was surprisingly easy for a summer born and often shy child). Thank you to all at Copper Beech for your outstanding childcare.

We couldn't be happier with The Nest Nursery Copper Beech - our son absolutely loves it and often wants to stay longer when we come to collect him. It is obvious when we drop him off that he loves the staff and feels secure and comforted by all of them.

What we love in particular is the amount of time the children spend outside, they are supervised outside in a really inspiring exciting garden every day with plenty of energetic play.

Indoors, the décor is lovely and calming with loads of really interesting activities especially others involving natural objects and everyday items which is evident in the way our son has progressed at home. This is the perfect environment to care for and nurture our son and we love it!

I have been to collect my niece on numerous occasions and it is always a joy to see her engaged in activities or playing with her friends. She clearly enjoys coming to nursery and talks non stop on the way home about what she has enjoyed and who she has played with during the day. As an experienced practitioner myself, it is great to see the resources offered to the children are tailored to their needs but also add challenge and real-life experiences.

My grand daughter attends the nursery and I have picked her up on several occasions. She clearly really enjoys her time here and has made so many friends who she talks about all time when she visits. She has developed so much since she has been at nursery and it has really helped with her confidence as she was always very shy before she started at nursery.

The staff have handled it really well when he has been unwell and we are confident they know how to look after him.

This nursery really is a home from home. I would recommend it to anyone.

We recently joined our daughter's graduation party, it was amazing. All the kids were singing nicely and many parents were impressed. We love this nursery and would recommend this nursery to everyone.

A fantastic homely nursery. Having looked around other nurseries that seemed very institutional, we opted for The Nest Nursery Copper Beech as it was so different. The children are greeted so warmly by name as they enter by all staff - even those in the "other room". Most of the staff have been here for many years, which just goes to show what an amazing setting they run. I love the fact that the children get to go outdoors in all weathers and explore the environment My son has been coming for 18 months now and loves it. The communication is great - my son's key worker makes an effort to chat to us at the end of the day and fill us in on what he has done and we love looking at the descriptions of conversations and photos on the online journal. When raised a concern about a speech difficulty that he was having and they made a special effort to work with him on it and even arranged for someone external to come and assess him.

They could benefit from more toilet cubicles to enable potty training and cleanliness. There is only 1 potty and 2 cubicles. The sink areas are good and appropriate. Rooms are clean and well equipped.

Since going, both boys have shown significant leaps in their development, both socially and physically. The nursery provides such a breadth of activities, the boys are always eager to go and they love music time. They always eat well and enjoy the nutritional onsite cooked meal. This is a brilliant nursery and we couldn't recommend it more highly.

We have recently become part of the Copper Beech community and are so pleased with the care provided for our son. Thanks to the kindness, support and enthusiasm of the staff our son is settling in well (first time at nursery). Staff take the time to help meet each child's needs. The unique environment cultivates creativity and imagination and is very nurturing. We would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

Our 4-year-old daughter has been at The Nest Copper Beech for over a year. She is thriving in an environment and we can see that she is well cared for, happy, as well as developing new skills. The staff are all really friendly and are just so lovely and caring with all the children, everyone knows all the children's names and are as enthusiastic at the end of the day as the beginning! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Nest nursery we have been very impressed with all aspects of her care.

Both of my boys have attended Copper Beech day nursery and have both been extremely happy there. The staff have always been supportive and approachable and I would not hesitate to recommend it to another family. The recent changes have improved the nursery further, particularly the development of the outside area. The staff know the children well and take on board their likes and interests. We have been very happy with the experience our children have had at the nursery.

I really like the homely feel about the nursery. The staff seem to like their jobs and really care about the children. The food is made on-site and always sounds very yummy. The staff in the baby room seem to really enjoy planning activities that are age-appropriate and fun for the children.

My daughter has been attending to this nursery for over 3 years. I will recommend to every parent. She loves coming to this nursery and the staff are so approachable genuine and caring. I feel at peace when I drop my daughter off because I'm assured she is well taken care of.
