We have had a really good experience at Busy Bees at Peatmoor. They have always been very caring towards our daughter, and we always felt like it is a safe place where to leave our daughter. They are also very flexible and just lovely staff

Busy Bees have been outstanding throughout our nursery experience. They have been so supportive with our weaning journey and navigating through new and different stages. We have loved being at Busy Bees, which is reflected in our child's development and character.

My son has flourished since starting with Busy Bees in September.
The staff take the time to really get to know each child in their care and they are made to feel supported and safe. Every morning, my son is greeted by name and made to feel welcome. His development has thrived since starting and his confidence has grown. Staff always take the time to ensure that milestones are met but above all, that your child is happy.

We wouldn't choose anywhere else for the care of our child.

Our daughter has had a great year at Busy Bees Peatmoor in Swindon. She has really grown in confidence and can see she has developed so much in regard to speech, awareness, socialising etc.

The staff are always welcoming and take time to share how every day has been and also raising any concerns. We also love that through the year there are events held for the whole family to attend so we can engage with the environment as well. Thank you!

My son is always excited to go to nursery. He is under 2 but happily walks into his room in the morning, excited to see what they are doing today. The food cooked onsite is well-planned and nutritionally beneficial. The staff in his room (including admin staff and ad-hoc room staff) are passionate, friendly and driven to do their best for our children.

Fantastic nursery. Great, friendly staff have made my son feel very welcome and happy. Lots of activities to keep them busy and their minds learning. Great outdoor space. Chef is very good, lots of different foods available and also caters to allergies.

Our experience of the nursey has been an incredibly positive one. Our little one loves attending and has made friends with peers and carers. We've seen really positive developments in her speech and gross motor skills and she's had the opportunity to get involved in lots of messy play. The nursery has had a refurbishment inside and out, which looks great. Our only feedback is that some members of staff are more positive than others on things like potty training, but we are doing it quite young. She is a great eater now and gets a great, varied diet.

This is the second time of sending my child to Busy Bees. My first son's experience wasn't too bad. So far, a lot has been improved based on reception from nursery entrance. The staff receive kids in a lovely way and at exit gives a vivid account of what had happened during the session especially during covid19 season where parents do not get access to the school compound. Looking forward to more improvement.

My daughter has been at this nursery from January 2020. I must say it’s been the best decision I made for her. She absolutely loves being there.
Members of staff are so helpful and brilliant, they make her feel so welcomed, and she managed to pass the fact that English is her second language and she now thrives by each day.

I would like to thank you for having such great staff at Peatmoor that make my daughter’s days so bright and joyful. I sincerely believe that my daughter’s success and integration in their hand, so nevertheless, I would like to say a big thank you for all your hard work.

We have been extremely happy with the nature of care our daughter has received, and we now have no reservations about sending our second child also. The staff have always been friendly, welcoming, supportive and nurturing and have made considerable efforts to get to know our daughter and us, and we feel they have formed strong bonds with our whole family. Our daughter can be rather shy and emotional at drop off, but I have been impressed with the care she has had in every room and the effort that has always been made to make experiences she finds challenging as smooth and positive as possible, including room transitions. Her key workers have been amazing, as has office and management - thank you, Busy Bess, you deserve high praises!

My daughter was at this nursery from February 2017 until August 2018 and they are just great. She went there as my son did from 2010 to 2012, what can I say except they are fantastic. My daughter still talks about it and her key workers. They encourage learning and are just very friendly. Highly recommended.

My daughter has attended Busy Bees for almost a year, and I must say it's been the best decision I made for my daughter's development. She only goes 2 mornings a week but keeps asking to go almost every day. The staff are very friendly, and always keep me updated in my daughter's daily activities and development.

Since going to the nursery, my daughter's general development has improved extensively. Her understanding and speech is above her age, and when she came home, going through the days of the week, she just amazed me in how far she has come, in such a short time. My daughter is only 2 1/2 years old!

I would recommend this nursery to anyone wishing for their child to have the best start in education/development.

Both my children have gone through this nursery from babies to preschool. At each stage the staff fully catered for my child’s needs.
There is a good level of experienced staff and staff turnover is low. The nursery ensures that there is good transition between all rooms and as a parent you are kept fully informed. Parents evenings are held regularly.
Nothing is too much trouble even when I had to ring to ensure that my child had settled after being upset at drop off.
There is good communication between home and nursery from the baby communication books to the verbal feedback received daily from the key workers with regards to food, what your child has been doing, enjoying.
The preschool staff really helped prepare my children for getting ready for preschool.

At each stage the key workers tailor activities to the interests of the children in their care e.g my youngest loves to make things out of junk so I have lots of models created during special activity times.

I have never really been a fan of putting children into nurseries, etc. and always believed if you want children then you should be prepared to look after them.
After becoming legal guardian to my grandchild and placing her in nursery to enable me time to do other things I have changed my opinion.
I chose Busy Bees because a friend of mine used you for her sons and I knew if it was good enough for her then it must be good.
I cannot express enough how much my granddaughter progressed over the last two years. The staff have been fantastic with her and they are always ready to help children and parents, etc. with any concerns they may have. The staff are very good at corresponding with parents on day to day routines that the children have at nursery and activities they take part in.

The children are provided with very healthy meals and snacks which are prepared and cooked fresh on site daily.

The staff are all friendly and have built up a great relationship with me and my daughter. They know my family well and they make our experience personalised. I feel that this makes us as a family confident that our child is being cared for well and is in a safe environment. She loves it too. When things don't go to plan I have been well informed and involved. Absolutely fantastic care and fantastic staff.

I'm mum of a very active and happy boy. It was hard to leave him with someone he or I didn't know. But from the first day I came to nursery, everyone treated me great, helped me to understand my boy will be safe and well looked after. I can always call and find out how my son is. Now I know I leave my child with professionals who not only make sure he is safe and happy, they're making sure he has something to eat, drink and his nappies are always clean.
I can't finish without mentioning my son's key person.
She is a very friendly and helpful person, she always has time to speak with me and discuss my son's behaviour or just have a simple chat.
All the team at Busy Bees Peatmoor deserve massive "well done" as they all do a great job each day.

Thank you to all and every one of them especially those which look after 0-2 group.

My daughter attends the 2-3's room and she loves it. She can't wait to come into the nursery and see the staff. Her key person is amazing and goes above and beyond for my child ensuring that all her needs are met every time she is in. I get a full rundown of what she has been doing every day and what she has eaten. They were really supportive when she went through the challenging stage of potty training. They gave me lots of helpful tips of things to do at home and never complained when she had accidents at nursery. If it wasn't for the support of the staff I would have found toilet training really difficult. I think the garden is amazing and she has so much room to run around and explore. She really loves the bug hotel and picking up all the insects and she loves the giant sandpit area in the Preschool garden. This is a nursery I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Jody Murphy Job Title: Centre Director
Jody Murphy

Hello, My name is Jody Murphy, Centre Director for Busy Bees Peatmoor. Since completing my level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, I have worked within the childcare sector in various roles ranging from nannying to pre-schools, to nurseries big and small. I have also completed A-Level child psychology and a Degree in Psychology, as I find the mind of a child fascinating and use this to encourage knowledge of the different ways that children learn, explore and how they display their skills and abilities. I have a passion for childcare and love working within a team to think of creative ways to develop, enhance and nurture children and staff's knowledge, development and skills.
