Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Yeovil)

I will be so sad for my son to say goodbye when he starts school in September.

My daughter moved to Mama Bear's when we moved to the area, she settled in after just 2 weeks and is so happy there. 9 months on and I couldn’t be more pleased. She goes in great in the mornings and comes out smiling every day. You can really tell that the team have got to know her. Even when she moved from one room to the next the girls made sure it was a smooth transition. I will be really sad when it’s time for her to move on to school!

My daughter has been attending Mama Bears for 3-years and has thrived in the environment. All of the staff are fantastic, kind and caring. My daughter loves going to Mama Bears, and I think the staff have done an amazing job to prepare her for school. I think the staff also deserve the highest praise for everything they did during the Covid pandemic.

I cannot recommend this setting enough.

My son started at Mama Bear's when he was 15 months old and is now turning 4! Off to big school in September and I can honestly say that Mama Bear's has been a huge, positive influence on how smoothly he has progressed through the milestones. The staff and I have been able to discuss any areas where I/they thought needed particular attention and have really put my mind at ease throughout the years. We have thoroughly enjoyed watching him make friends and create lovely bonds with the ladies. Great staff, great nursery...would highly recommend.

The nursery is excellent, all the staff are caring and always happy to help. My daughter is always super excited to go as they do lots of activities and follow the children’s interest. She has learned lots despite we are talking another language at home. I’m more than happy to send my son soon as well, I am feeling confident he will be ok like his sister does. Fully recommend to everyone.

So pleased we found Mama Bear's nursery. My little one is so happy there, the staff are so kind and helpful. It’s nice not to have to worry about little one when I’m at work as I know she is being so well looked after and entertained! Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff who are always on hand to chat to about any concerns (due to little ones allergies) that we may have. It’s lovey to be able to go onto the app throughout the day and see what little one has been up too this is an added bonus especially when observations and moments are added. Big thank you to all the team who make my little ones days so enjoyable. I would highly recommend Mama Bear's as it is so nice to see my little one thriving and enjoying her time there.

I have sent two children to this nursery across the last 3 years and have always been happy with their care. My daughter has grown and developed so much in her time there, especially in the preschool room preparing for starting school, her knowledge has become incredible. Sending my son to the baby room followed by the tweenie room I’ve seen him be cared for like a family and encouraged to play and learn. Both children have loved going to Mama Bear's and been very happy with the carers. Whenever I have needed to do admin, changes of hours, called to check in on a child etc the management team answering the phone have been wonderful and I’ve never seemed like trouble. The food variety has always been good and my children are happy with it. The gardens are fantastic and the kids love them.

She will certainly miss all the staff when she leaves, but we can’t wait for her little brother to start.

Both my children have attended Mama Bear's and I would recommend them to anyone. Both my children have really enjoyed their times there and the staff are amazing. The activities the children do encourages them to learn and be independent.

The staff are friendly helpful and kind. They are very understanding of the children's needs and I feel all my children who have attended this setting have very much benefited from the experience. The management are happy to help with any questions as are the staff regarding the children.

My daughter is always doing creative activities and playing in a fun environment with her little friends. I would highly recommend this nursery.

We can not fault Mama Bear's nursery. The treatment and care for our little boy is amazing. Our little boy absolutely loves going to nursery, he is always met with a lovely greeting and smile from all the staff and we are all made to feel very welcome. The staff can not do enough for him, our little boy has a dairy allergy, they make sure he is never left out and eats the same as all the other children. All the staff are so nice aswell! We have our key worker and she is lovely. We would highly recommend anyone thinking of sending their little one to Mama Bear's. Such an amazing nursery.

My son has attended this nursery for over 3 years, he will be leaving for school in the summer. The staff are always very friendly and know our children well. My son comes home talking about everything he has done and a day sheet provides other information. I trust the nursery entirely, they make you feel your child is in safe hands. My son has learnt lots and is totally prepared for school. He always eats everything prepared for him! He can be picky so the food must be fab. No complaints at all. This nursery is top notch!

We will miss Mama Bears and all of its lovely staff when it's time for big school in September but am so happy and confident they've helped give her the best start....Thanks so much!!

Mama Bears Yeovil is an amazing nursery/preschool. Since my daughter has joined this nursery she has come on in leaps and bounds!
