Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Yeovil) is a facility that has benefited from expansion and investment in order to make the most of a depth of pre-school learning skills. As well as stimulating indoor areas for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, the nursery also has outdoor play areas, a grassy area, sleep room and milk kitchen.

Play and learning is age specific, with carers understanding the need for children to develop at their own pace and pursuing their own interests. All areas have been purposely designed to help the nursery in meeting recognised pre-school learning goals. A key person system means that staff work closely in partnership with parents to ensure each child's individual needs are met.

I cannot rate this nursery and preschool enough. The staff are incredibly friendly and keep us informed. They have accommodated my son's needs without any problem, which are food intolerances, eczema cream applications and medicine. They are outstanding in all areas that I can think of. Most importantly
of all, my son adores this preschool. He has so much fun.
My son has some special educational needs, and these have been dealt with professionally and with compassion. Parents are very much heard, and their approach is always thoughtful and helpful.
I would recommend this setting to anyone. This is by far the very best nursery and preschool that my children have attended. (I have older children who attended different settings in Yeovil, and my son had a brief time at a different nursery.)
I will be so sad for my son to say goodbye when he starts school in September.

My daughter moved to Mama Bear's when we moved to the area, she settled in after just 2 weeks and is so happy there. 9 months on and I couldn’t be more pleased. She goes in great in the mornings and comes out smiling every day. You can really tell that the team have got to know her. Even when she moved
from one room to the next the girls made sure it was a smooth transition. I will be really sad when it’s time for her to move on to school!

My daughter has been attending Mama Bears for 3-years and has thrived in the environment. All of the staff are fantastic, kind and caring. My daughter loves going to Mama Bears, and I think the staff have done an amazing job to prepare her for school. I think the staff also deserve the highest praise
for everything they did during the Covid pandemic.

Both of my children started Mama Bear's Yeovil from baby room and have spent their childhood there, with my youngest due to finish in August before he starts school.
Both children have thrived and developed vital social skills as well as gaining independence and preparing them for school.
All staff
members are a credit to the nursery. They are friendly, approachable, helpful and most importantly they genuinely care about the welfare of the children in their care.
As a parent, you are consistently kept up to date with your child’s well-being. Even during social distancing enforcement, the high standard of care and communication with parents did not suffer.
I cannot recommend this setting enough.

My son started at Mama Bear's when he was 15 months old and is now turning 4! Off to big school in September and I can honestly say that Mama Bear's has been a huge, positive influence on how smoothly he has progressed through the milestones. The staff and I have been able to discuss any areas where
I/they thought needed particular attention and have really put my mind at ease throughout the years. We have thoroughly enjoyed watching him make friends and create lovely bonds with the ladies. Great staff, great nursery...would highly recommend.

The nursery is excellent, all the staff are caring and always happy to help. My daughter is always super excited to go as they do lots of activities and follow the children’s interest. She has learned lots despite we are talking another language at home. I’m more than happy to send my son soon as well,
I am feeling confident he will be ok like his sister does. Fully recommend to everyone.

So pleased we found Mama Bear's nursery. My little one is so happy there, the staff are so kind and helpful. It’s nice not to have to worry about little one when I’m at work as I know she is being so well looked after and entertained! Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff who are always
on hand to chat to about any concerns (due to little ones allergies) that we may have. It’s lovey to be able to go onto the app throughout the day and see what little one has been up too this is an added bonus especially when observations and moments are added. Big thank you to all the team who make my little ones days so enjoyable. I would highly recommend Mama Bear's as it is so nice to see my little one thriving and enjoying her time there.

I have sent two children to this nursery across the last 3 years and have always been happy with their care. My daughter has grown and developed so much in her time there, especially in the preschool room preparing for starting school, her knowledge has become incredible. Sending my son to the baby
room followed by the tweenie room I’ve seen him be cared for like a family and encouraged to play and learn. Both children have loved going to Mama Bear's and been very happy with the carers. Whenever I have needed to do admin, changes of hours, called to check in on a child etc the management team answering the phone have been wonderful and I’ve never seemed like trouble. The food variety has always been good and my children are happy with it. The gardens are fantastic and the kids love them.

My daughter started at Mama Bear's when she was one, she’s due to start school in September.
The staff have been so welcoming, kind and supportive to her and us, making sure her needs are met and she is happy.
She will certainly miss all the staff when she leaves, but we can’t wait for her little
brother to start.

Both my children have attended Mama Bear's and I would recommend them to anyone. Both my children have really enjoyed their times there and the staff are amazing. The activities the children do encourages them to learn and be independent.

The staff are friendly helpful and kind. They are very understanding of the children's needs and I feel all my children who have attended this setting have very much benefited from the experience. The management are happy to help with any questions as are the staff regarding the children.

I can not praise Mama Bear's nursery in Yeovil enough. My daughter started last March and all the staff have made her feel so safe and settled. It’s a big thing to trust people with your children while you go to work but the staff at Mama Bear's are so friendly and nurturing that I knew my daughter
was in safe hands. The staff always give you a handover of what they have been doing during the day and there is an app with pictures and activities that they have done which is such a lovely idea.
My daughter is always doing creative activities and playing in a fun environment with her little friends. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending Mama Bear's in Yeovil since July of 2017 and will be there until this coming August 2020. In that time I’ve been delighted with the care and attention he has received.
I can’t talk highly enough of the staff, especially those who have looked after my son with love and care.

Being a first-time mum, I never wanted to leave my little girl anywhere.
My daughter is always happy at nursery.
She never wants to leave and always looks forward to going.
For me that's a massive relief as I know, like most parents, we want what's best for our children and having to work to provide
for them can be heartbreaking if they are not in a happy place.
She has come on leaps and bounds with her growth, personality and speech.
She is learning every day and takes such pride in showing me the creativity she has had the opportunity to be a part of.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone. The staff are great, they really do care, support and look after your children. Thank you.

We can not fault Mama Bear's nursery. The treatment and care for our little boy is amazing. Our little boy absolutely loves going to nursery, he is always met with a lovely greeting and smile from all the staff and we are all made to feel very welcome. The staff can not do enough for him, our little
boy has a dairy allergy, they make sure he is never left out and eats the same as all the other children. All the staff are so nice aswell! We have our key worker and she is lovely. We would highly recommend anyone thinking of sending their little one to Mama Bear's. Such an amazing nursery.

My son has attended this nursery for over 3 years, he will be leaving for school in the summer. The staff are always very friendly and know our children well. My son comes home talking about everything he has done and a day sheet provides other information. I trust the nursery entirely, they make you
feel your child is in safe hands. My son has learnt lots and is totally prepared for school. He always eats everything prepared for him! He can be picky so the food must be fab. No complaints at all. This nursery is top notch!

Our daughter has attended part time since 2015 and I can honestly say the experience has been fantastic. I can't recommend them enough and the recent OFSTED 'outstanding' rating is so accurate!
I was concerned about leaving the one I value most in the whole world with 'strangers' but my concerns were
soon put to bed, from Tweenies to Bouncies now to Pre-school, staff have been caring, kind and helped her grow from a baby into a little person when I couldn't be there to do it myself!
Nursery staff have helped us deal with any issues by respectfully listening and offering their support to ensure our little girl is safe, content, developing socially, emotionally and academically and most of all she is very happy, what more could a parent ask for?! The regular electronic updates also often brighten up our day!!
We will miss Mama Bears and all of its lovely staff when it's time for big school in September but am so happy and confident they've helped give her the best start....Thanks so much!!

Mama Bears Yeovil is an amazing nursery/preschool. Since my daughter has joined this nursery she has come on in leaps and bounds!


The staff are so caring and couldn't recommend this nursery more!!


My daughter is always chatting and laughing about what she has been up to in her day at nursery

and she loves all the staff!


It's so clean and cannot fault it! It's amazing you even get blogs, photos and updates to keep you informed of your child's day and progression digitally.

Fantastic, friendly staff. Everyone has been so kind and has been fully supportive. My child has allergies and staff have been amazing at keeping her safe.
