Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Yeovil)

Excellent nursery. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting. We are kept fully up to date with her learning and what meals she has had throughout the day via the interactive app. The staff are so friendly and approachable. Couldn’t fault them. 5-star service.

My children have made great progress since joining Mama Bear's. They love going to nursery and feel safe and secure in the setting.

I have 2 children and have been using this nursery for 4 years, I have always had great relationships with all staff members and my children adore them. I feel completely confident leaving my children in their care and they always come home with exciting stories about the activities they got up to with their friends. I will really miss the nursery when my youngest starts school in September.

So happy with my son's experience of Mama Bear's and I’m really pleased with the level of care and facilities provided. The staff are always so welcoming, friendly, caring and kind and it really does make a huge difference. I feel confident leaving him every day in a safe, secure and nurturing environment. I feel Mama Bear's go above and beyond with any issues or any illnesses and are also very informative. Love the app and the manager is so lovely I can really see the difference they have made from when my son started! Learning wise he is doing well and can see he does get the time in his environment to learn new things and most importantly enjoy them. Thank you so much, really appreciated and it will be really sad when he moves on.

All staff are very friendly and helpful. My child really enjoys going to this nursery and has become more confident and is happy to play with other children. Very good at helping speech progress. My child really enjoys the meals too.

Mama Bear's day nursery in Yeovil is fantastic. My son has flourished there, and the staff can’t do enough for us. They always let us know how he is getting on, and always find time to talk to us to give us updates on his day or any worries we may have. My son's confidence has improved and he is always so happy to be going there. I have daily updates on the app so I know when he sleeps/eats etc. although we would love more pictures but I appreciate the staff are very busy! The staff genuinely care about the kids at the nursery and I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery!

My son has been attending the setting since January, starting at 6 months old. The staff in the baby room have always made this an easy transition and keep you up to date regularly with the app, which is lovely to see and reassurance! My son goes in easily and smiles as soon as we get out of the car.

The ladies are very caring with my daughter. The manager was always helpful to clarify any misunderstandings with the monthly cost. Our girl settled in nicely and I am grateful they help her learn so much each day by doing different activities. She really enjoys being there, playing, having story time, and the interaction with the ladies caring for her. I find two members of staff spending more time with our girl and I feel they are very motherly, caring ladies. They seem to love their job and love all the children. We feel very close to them.

My son has settled in so well at Mama Bear's, despite feeling nervous to start with, but is slowly getting there with the help from all the staff. They are all so lovely and caring. Communication is brilliant. Love having little updates on the app. Love the outdoor play areas with lots of activities and toys to play with.

I have experienced some health issues with myself and my child and the nursery has been very supportive assisting me with personal messages of any infections in the nursery at present with daily updates so I can make an informed decision on if I should enter the building or if I should send my child as we both have weakened immunity. I cannot thank you enough for the support I have received.

My son has been going to Mama Bear's since he was 10 months old. It was extremely difficult in the beginning due to him being a pandemic baby and struggling with being away from us and vice versa. Since coming out of the baby stage and more into the toddler stage he has done amazing. All the staff are kind and friendly. He loves the bouncy room and all the staff in there. It’s been lovely to see him thrive and the nursery staff and the manager are always happy to answer questions and support.

My daughter started in December 2021 and I could not be happier with Mama Bear's. She is clearly very happy there and every member of staff is greeted with a smile. There are lots of activities they do with the children including painting, outside play and lots of appropriate toys. The menu is seasonal and varied - I wish I could eat it too! The opening hours are perfect as I have quite a long commute. I was worried about naps, but the team have done a wonderful job getting her to sleep despite me thinking she is quite needy in that department. Highly recommend - I recommend them to all my friends!

I would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to any friends or family.

Both my children have attended from the age of 1 and have thrived in such a supportive and nurturing environment. Both love going in each day and I love hearing about what they have been up to and have achieved when I collect them, Mama Bear's offer a wide range of activities and learning with lots of time outside which my two love. The staff are caring and know how to get the best from each individual child. We are so grateful for the experiences they have had and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to everyone. My eldest has almost finished his time at Mama Bear's and will be very sad to leave, but I know he has had the best set up ready for school thanks to everyone at Mama Bear's.

I cannot thank the team enough for the support that they give parents too (it’s hard to leave your child).

I can not fault the staff at Mama Bear's Day Nursery at all, they have been amazing with all my children that have attended their nursery, I honestly feel my children have had the best possible start to their school lives by starting at Mama Bear's, they have progressed beautifully, their working relationships with the children are perfect, shame there aren't more teachers like the staff at Mama Bear's, I will always recommend Mama Bear's Day Nursery.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming to the children and parents. After the lockdown, they welcomed the children back with the same care, smiles and friendly nature so that they didn't feel like they had been away for too long. My daughter really enjoys attending nursery and the variety of activities available to her.
