Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Yeovil)

Highly recommend!

Great facilities with four rooms for different age groups and good outdoor areas, brilliant staff who are both professional and great with the children. Our daughter loves going to Mama Bears and we are really pleased with our choice of nursery for her.

My daughter loves attending Mama Bear's nursery. The staff are very accommodating and listen to your wishes. We have recently been going through potty training and the staff have been great at assisting with this in the nursery setting, and replicating what we do at home. It's great that they put updates on their app so you know what the children have been getting up to. My daughter has really come on since attending Mama Bear's and is full of confidence, and loves seeing her friends that she has made at nursery.

I have been really happy that I chose Mama Bears, my little one has had a wonderful time so far and I've seen lots of positive changes in him since he started about 6 months ago. Every member of staff has been so helpful and kind to both him and me and I feel confident that he is really well cared for. I like getting all of the updates on the app and knowing what he's up to during his days there.

Fantastic nursery as staff are always kind, caring and brilliant with the children. I feel happy knowing our children are safe and well looked after in there care. Could not ask for a better nursery!

My child been attending for 2years, loves going to Nursery, learn lots of different things and does activities that we aren't able to do. Great food choices and the staff are great. The app to keep parents updated is really great, lots of updates and pictures to ensure you know what children are eating etc. Maybe a little pricey vs other local nurseries but offset by how little issues we have.

A fantastic nursery with friendly, caring, and dedicated staff. The nursery provides a safe, stimulating environment which is full of learning opportunities. Communication with parents is excellent, and our child has grown in confidence and happiness since joining. Highly recommended!

I send my daughter once a week on a Friday, I've always found the staff so helpful and attentive to her, she gets a little shy when at drop off but but always leaves so happy and loves it, we are so grateful that we have found a nursery that cares and supports our daughter and she learns so much every week, we really feel that our daughter is learning so much and growing each week there.

Food is included in the day rate and that is a massive help to us.

Mama Bear's is an excellent nursery with kind, knowledgeable staff who are committed to the care of the children. My son has developed in so many ways since starting and has gained confidence when it comes to making friends and learning new things.

First daughter, settled in well and enjoys her time spent at Mama Bears. We have been invited to attend Christmas and Easter shows. My daughter is always happy to go to nursery and is happy when collected from nursery having had a good time spent with her friends.

Good play area and has a wide range of different activities that the children do throughout the day.

Her talking and communication skills have improved so much, I'll be sad when she leaves, I also wanted to say a massive thank you to all the staff, especially two members of staff in the pre-school room. They always go above and beyond to make sure she's okay. Can't wait for our little boy to go in September.

There are always lots of activities for the children as well as independent play. There are lots of lovely arts and crafts which the children bring home.

Overall, we are very happy with the education and care our son receives whilst at nursery.

Myself, my husband and most importantly my daughter, all love Mama Bears! As parents, we happily send our daughter in 2 days a week, knowing she is well cared for by the most loving and fun team. It’s hard work getting my daughter to leave at the end of the day, because she’s had so much fun. She has made lots of friends but has also developed her speech and various other skills incredibly well. She started nursery at 11 months old, and I’d say we noticed her development change within about 2-3 weeks!

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 13 months old, she is now 19 months old. My daughter has extra needs including a very limited diet due to severe allergies and intolerances. She also suffers from skin conditions including eczema which requires constant management. I cannot praise the staff highly enough for all the work and care they put in day to day. I never have any concerns about leaving her with them. She loves the nursery and I often struggle to get her to leave of an evening. I would not even contemplate anywhere else for her. She has thrived since joining the nursery.

We have entrusted both of our children to their care and couldn’t recommend them enough.

Since my daughter has started Mama Bear's Day Nursery (Yeovil) she has developed and come out of her shell even more so. The team at Yeovil are caring and friendly and I know when I leave that my daughter is in great hands. I love that we receive updates throughout the day on what she is up to and that she gets to experience different types of activities like messy play, going outside and interacting with younger and older children at the nursery. I always recommend Mama Bear's Yeovil to any of my mummy friends or mummy's to be!

My son gets very excited as soon as he sees the car park, it’s a great environment for both play and learning where I feel he is not just a child to look after but cared for and nurtured, the team do an excellent job looking after both his playing and educational needs! And his eating is excellent! The menu provides a balance of nutrition and good hearty meals. I’m often quite envious when I see what he’s eating for the day whilst I’m sat at work with my sandwiches!
