Tops Day Nurseries: Musgrove Nursery

Our child is very happy at Tops. They enjoy the curriculum and learning.

My son has been at Tops for over a year now and I can't thank them enough. He found the transition to nursery very difficult but the staff, particularly his key worker were so loving, thoughtful and caring that he has become so confident and he loves it now. The staff in investigators are also brilliant, and have been so helpful. They helped with potty training and are very aware of how our toddler works - very skillful! Our son loves his key worker very much and we love how flexible tops are. Thank you!

The staff are very attentive and caring, they've built a wonderful bond with my daughter. She always has enjoyable days filled with a variety of fun activities, often based around seasonal events. The team are like an extended family. They are fantastic at supporting her learning with colours, numbers, letters and understanding different jobs and family. I've always been very impressed with the nurturing environment and can't recommend the nursery highly enough.

My child has been at Tops since he was two and is leaving to go to school now. All staff at the nursery have been brilliant, supporting with toilet training, "picky eating and independence building. Huge thanks!

Since moving our children to Tops Nursery at Musgrove they have flourished. Our eldest has now moved on to school but is looking forward to going back for high 5's our youngest is still there and he absolutely adores the staff and looks forward to going. I would trust nobody else with our children. A huge thank you to the manager and all of the staff. You do an amazing job!

We had a wonderful experience at Tops Musgrove. My son really enjoyed his time here, since he started at 12 months old. They really did a good job of preparing him for school. All the staff are friendly and very accommodating and they have always addressed any concerns promptly and to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this nursery!

Overall, we have had a really good experience with Tops Nursery, my son loves it and always looks forward to going and the staff all seem very nice. The only things I would say are that it seems slightly disorganised ie - they send him home without his things or with another child’s belongings in his bag. A couple of times he’s come out of nursery without shoes on, or with dirt all over him or a full nappy. I’m assuming this is just bad timing for when he happened to be collected or just staff stretched for time, but overall a good experience in general. Could do with fewer emails and the parents' app is updated very rarely with few photos so would be nice to get more info and pictures.

My daughter started nursery even before turning one and she is a pandemic baby. I was really concerned about her settling in. But the girls in the nest have been so supportive and understanding, encouraging me to call however many times. My daughter has absolutely loved it and is developing and achieving her milestones really fast. Thank you so much for the support. I have nothing but good things to say.

I have nothing negative to say. My child is safe and happy. He's well looked after and has made great connections with all the staff and children. I don't trust anyone with my child and sending him to nursery was really hard for me but he's thriving and the staff are always happy to hear any concerns and keep me well informed about what he's been up to and take lovely photos to show this. I feel really calm and know every time I take my son there he's going to have a lovely day. The nursery is clean, the staff are friendly, they work well together and security to get into the nursery is excellent so no way a child can accidentally get out or anyone can sneak in. Keep up the hard work Musgrove going above and beyond for all the children in your care.

We've been delighted by the care our daughter has received since joining aged 9 months a year ago. The staff got to know her really well and clearly care about her development and enjoyment. The flexibility of hours and week-by-week bookings have been essential to us as shift workers. We have recommended it to a number of friends and colleagues. Thank you all!

I have used this nursery at different periods over the past three years, currently both my children use the nursery. Being a parent, I appreciate the apprehension in trusting anyone with your precious child, however, I always feel reassured when my children are at nursery as the staff are wonderful with the children. They have also been professional and approachable and provide an excellent standard of care in my view. A big thank you from me for the wonderful job you do, with the wonderful little terrors.

I have been nothing but thrilled and impressed with the care my daughter receives at Tops. She goes in happy and excited to see the staff and is happy and excited when collected. The staff always appear happy, positive and enthusiastic with their roles. The handovers are thorough and comprehensive. Nothing is too much trouble if I ask for extra information, as she has a food sensitivity to cows milk and soya or giving antibiotics. We receive photos via the app of her playing so we can understand what she has been doing and the information received via the app, regarding schemes and schema, help us as her parents, to continue learning consistently. My daughter had been taught sign language to aid communication when starting, despite being a hearing child and staff requested information to know what signs she could do so they could better engage with her until she was speaking. I always have my hours accommodated when submitted before the deadline.

My 2-year-old son has been going to Tops day nursery in Taunton since the end of September 2021 and he has settled in really well. He only cried at drop off for the first few times and now he’s fine going in. He naps there most days and has built a good relationship with some of the staff and they all seem really friendly. They provide different activities and there is an outdoor area to play. Its also lovely to see pictures of my son at nursery on the app. Really pleased with this nursery so far!

My child has attended for over a year and we are pleased with this nursery. It is extremely convenient and flexible. Booking hours are straightforward and admin staff are prompt with replies and invoices. We have had a couple of issues that have been dealt with straight away and then no further repeat. My child is very happy attending the nursery. My only wish is that the outdoor space was larger.

My son currently goes to this nursery. My daughter went here for 3 years. Both of them love it there and I find all the staff friendly and approachable. My daughter still attends Hi 5's in the holidays and still really enjoys it, each time.

I am very, very happy with Tops. The staff are all amazing and so caring. The hours are extremely flexible and there is never any problem accommodating changes. My son is very happy there. I appreciate the updates on the app.
