Your Co-op Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-school, Cainscross

I would highly recommended the Co-op Nursery at Cainscross. The facilities are always very clean, the environment is very bright and inviting. The staff do an amazing job ensuring the little ones are very well looked after and are learning to the requested standard. My daughters care at nursery has been exceptional. She gets very excited when I tell her it's a nursery day and runs into the building. I couldn't have chosen a more perfect setting for my child to learn and grow in. Very happy.

We are really happy with the care and learning at this nursery. Our child loves going to nursery and seeing all her friends and staff. The staff are fab they really care for all the children. The activities that they provide the children are fun and tailored to the child's interests and development. We are kept regularly updated with our child's progress and daily activities they have done after a day at nursery, as well as parents evening where we have a chance to come and spend a little more time talking about our child with her key person. The food that the children are provided with is great too wth lots of variety.

Only negative is having to pay for bank holidays when the nursery is closed.

Great place made to feel at ease and part of the nursery family from day one.

Really happy with the way my son is cared for on the days he attends and he is so happy to be there and has settled in so fast which has just put me at complete ease.

Food ticks all of his boxes and he really seems to enjoy and has moved on leaps and bounds in his capabilities with feeding himself.

Only been going a few weeks but it's been great and I feel really happy to leave my child in the nursery which I never thought I would.

If my daughter is unwell, the nursery care is good and we are informed without being panicked.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family.

My child has settled in lovely within the nursery setting. She seems happy with all members of staff. At the early stages when my child was slightly unsure about being left/away from me. All the staff were lovely and reassuring and let me stay in reception for a while, then they would go up and check to see that she had settled. I always get a detailed report of her day. Overall a lovely relaxed and child happy environment. 5* treatment.

My daughter thoroughly enjoys her time there and the staff are super, however we've had numerous issues with the administration and billing, receiving invoices for other children, and payment vouchers being reversed without consultation. It's also £10/day more expensive than a previous nursery so this certainly adds up.

Really friendly staff who work together brilliantly. They work hard to engage the children with a range of creative activities that I would never manage at home! I am confident that they take great care of my child.

This place is amazing, the staff are all lovely, my children were always well looked after and stimulated!! I was regularly invited to look at the learning journey to see what stage of development they were at!! The cook is awesome too!!

Amazing staff. Amazing with the kids. My daughter loved going to nursery. Brilliant rooms for different aged kids. Hot food served for the kids every day. By far one of the best nurserys I have seen in and around Stroud.

My daughter really enjoys it at the nursery. She has come on so much from when she started, all the staff that have contact always tell me she's really good and her communication skills are great. Really glad I chose this nursery over the other ones I was thinking about.

My boys have a good time when coming to this nursery, and seem to eat well. They enjoy playing in the outdoor space and there is a variety of toys and activities including singing which the boys love. There is a limited amount of art which comes home (not a bad thing!) but they bring home cards for special occasions. If you want a minute by minute account of what your child has been up to, then this nursery is not for you (I have only used the toddler and preschool room, not the baby room) you get a general overview, but limited details unless there is a problem, in which case they are thorough. I like this though as I don't want pick up to take more than 5 mins. The staff are friendly and have taken the time to tell my identical twins apart. The toilets for the toddlers and preschoolers are obviously well used, but I have never, even at the end of the day, seen evidence of accidents or spills which is quite something. The early opening and late closing is very helpful.

His key worker has been superb and is a credit to the nursery.
