Tops Day Nurseries: Bournemouth Nursery

My daughter has been attending Tops at Bournemouth for just over a year and a half. She loves it, especially the messy play and the outside kitchen. All the staff are lovely and nothing is too much for them.

I'd highly recommend Tops Nursery to my friends and family. My son has been going there since he was 11-months-old (he is now 2) and has always enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly with parents and kids, responsible and well trained. I wouldn't leave my child with anyone if not feeling entirely reassured. He's treated well, taken care of and well fed. They have bilingual staff which helps my son development in English as well as in Spanish which is our mother tongue. Food is good and flexible hours are very useful when both parents work. All in all an excellent nursery, very happy with it!

My son has been going to Tops Day Nursery - Bournemouth for a couple of months now. I had a slight issue at first when my child would not settle into his class. However, after a very helpful and quick response, he was then moved. He has settled very well to the point where he runs in and can't wait to get rid of me quick enough which I love to see. He is always so happy when I arrive to pick him up! The nursery always communicates with me and lets me know what he has done throughout the day, eaten, nappy changes etc. Whenever I call to see if he is OK, they are straight on the phone and always so positive. They always keep me updated on the app with pictures etc! My son loves the staff and other children and they love him too! I have already recommended this nursery to so many of my friends! Great people, great atmosphere and we are so glad we picked this nursery over others we looked at. We feel welcomed and at home! Thank you, guys!

Wonderful nursery with great friendly staff. My daughter has absolutely loved her time in the nest. We get regular observations, a diary every day and the staff know her really well. Recommend highly!

Tops is a great Nursery, I wish we had used it before.

My daughter has been attending Tops since December and I am extremely pleased with the progress she has already. I couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough, the staff are extremely friendly and keep us updated with regular progress notifications with is fantastic. Before being at tops my daughter attended another preschool and in comparison there is no competition. She is thriving very well at tops and is excited to go every time. I have no bad word to say about the nursery and would encourage anyone to consider it.

Really friendly staff and fantastic facilities. Love the observations we get provided updates on her development, especially the ones with pictures! The nursery staff really helped our daughter settle quickly despite only being in one day a week. Very impressed with the whole package.

My son has now been in two rooms. 1. The nest and 2. Explorers. I have found the stag in both the rooms patient, kind, vigilant and very loving with the children.

The rooms in themselves have so much to occupy the little children. It is a safe environment for the child to explore and learn.

The online tracker and constantly added observations help me as a parent to know and feel confident that my baby is happy where he is and playing and learning and enjoying with his new little friends.

My daughter has been using Tops Day nurseries since the age of 6 months, first at Portsmouth and this year at Bournemouth. The attention and care she has received has been excellent. I have watched her develop her own personality and realise how much of an influence her key workers at Tops have had on her. I would also like to use this opportunity to mention the Investigators who have been absolutely wonderful with my child. The extra activities offered such as Forest school, cooking classes etc have all been enjoyable and educative. The administrative staff have also been excellent and are always willing to help out with booking extra time at short notice. The flexibility offered by 15 minute slots and variable booking have been especially useful and truly not to be found anywhere else!

Couldn't be more happier with my child, always an event ie cooking or dancing that my child wants to get involved with, never known a nursery to do half of these, very pleased. Progress thanks to Tops. A****

I cannot praise Tops highly enough. My little boy has been in both The Nest and Explorers 2 over the last year; both were filled with fantastic staff. Every day I receive a full update about what my son has done - food, nappies, milk, sleep. All of this is online but it doesn't stop the staff adding lots more information when he's collected. I also receive regular online observations - I love seeing photos and anecdotes of what he's been doing while I've been at work. Tops is extremely flexible and has always been able to accommodate the hours I need, even at short notice when my other child care has been ill. There is lots of interaction and each room really takes the needs of the children into consideration. As I said, I cannot praise it enough and will continue to send my son here.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Tops Bournemouth to anyone looking for a nursery who truly cares about their child on every level. Since starting at Tops Bournemouth over half a year ago, my son now runs to get there where before he would cling to the car seat! He is made to feel truly cared about and loved by his personal carer, whom he adores. He's not just "looked after" when he's there - they've helped him with his speech, and his confidence when apart from family, which has proved invaluable, and they care about him as a little individual not just another child to have to watch over. As such, when he walks through the door and if he's upset, they know just what to do to help him. It's really helped set our minds at complete ease having him somewhere he's honestly cared about. The outside play area is a godsend too (spacious, with good play equipment etc) - he's an outdoors little boy so we also needed somewhere with a good play area for him and other nurseries in the area seemed very cramped. Here he can run around safely, play in the sandpit, ride a tricycle and so forth. It's great!

What a fantastic nursery! Myself and my daughter have been made to feel so welcome here. She is in the Nest and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. My daughter enjoys her time here as I can tell from the picture and diary they use to keep you involved in your child's day. The staff here really do bend over backwards to help. I often have last minute changes to my work hours and I have never been refused changes to my booked hours. So please we chose to come here. All the staff and activities have greatly helped towards her development.
