Bambinos Childcare Houndiscombe Road

All three of my children attended the nursery until Xmas. My daughter was in the preschool class whilst the other attended the after-school club. I found the staff really helpful and rearranged the activities to suit each child’s individual needs they were also amazing at doing reading books and homework books to help support my older children’s learning. Each member of staff we came across was warm and welcoming and that made leaving my children in their care a bit easier. My daughter also has behavioural issues and any problems that occurred with her behaviour were managed amazingly by all of the staff and lots of positive practices were put in place to help support her whilst at nursery but also at home. The manager was always very approachable and willing to help solve any issues we came across as a family. The thing we liked best was that this nursery supported our children at nursery and at home, offering all sorts of guidance whenever we needed it.

My wife is due back to work in September and our new baby will be starting his Bambino journey.

All three of my children have gone to Bambinos and I can safely say without hesitation, it was the best thing we did to help prepare them for Primary School. The staff are always well presented and knowledgeable of any situation at hand. Hands down the best nursery in the land.

I am very happy with the level of care given to my children and would recommend them to anyone who required outstanding childcare. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and caring they have helped my children grow and learn so much already and still continuing to help them learn as much as possible. I believe the facilities are friendly, have a lovely homely feel and are of a very high standard, which we see these developing with the needs of the children, they have a beautiful large outdoor space with my children love using as well as the lovely other rooms they are able to use. My children always come back talking about all the lovely and fun activities they do within the nursery as well as the food which they love eating.

My children have attended Bambinos Childcare Centre Plymouth since they were only 4 months old. Throughout this time they have received the care and support that has enabled them to become confident and kind children. I couldn’t recommend Bambinos enough!

She would not be the bright, funny and intelligent little girl she is today without all the staff members at Bambinos.

My son started with Bambinos Childcare Centre Plymouth when he was 9 months old, he’s now nearly 2 and he absolutely loves it. All the staff are really lovely, very informative of what my son has been doing every day and I would fully recommend the nursery.

My child was very shy to start with but she now loves going to nursery and asks every day if she's going. She has an excellent relationship with all staff members and I know she is in great hands when I leave her. The children are lovely and play nicely together. There are so many activities to do all day so my child never gets bored. She particularly likes to go in the garden and play with the mud kitchen and the climbing frame. I would highly recommend this nursery to anybody. We will be sad to leave next year when my child starts school.

My daughter has been attending Bambinos Childcare Centre Plymouth since she was 7 months old. The care and kindness the staff showed her meant that I was confident about being able to leave her to return to work without feeling guilty as I knew she was safe and having lots of fun. She has recently moved to the toddler room and is already settled and loving the new environment. She is constantly singing all the songs she's learning and is a very happy and confident two-year-old.

My daughter loved the baby room and her key worker there and so when it came time for her to move up to the 2-3 room, I was worried she wouldn’t settle as well. But the team did such a wonderful job making her feel comfortable when she moved. After a few days, she was running into her new room as happy as anything.

When raising a concern with the management about the new arrangement, of children sleeping in the same room as children playing, my husband and I were told that remaining children would play in the garden or the soft playroom while the others were sleeping. However, this was not put into practice.

My little boy has been at Bambinos from 4 months old I was so worried about him being so little but all of the girls are amazing. The baby room staff make fantastic relationships with children and parents and my son loves his time at nursery. He is always engaged in fantastic activities and they really support our family through each milestone (weaning, crawling). The environments are beautiful and I cannot recommend Bambinos enough!
