Bambinos Childcare Houndiscombe Road

Our son was 6 months old when lockdown happened and 18 months when he started nursery, so I was worried about how he would settle. He had two taster sessions and was very upset, however, the staff have made a special effort to settle him and he is becoming more confident and settled as the sessions go by.

They have been really flexible with the times and days I wanted my children to attend. Highly recommended.

Nursery staff provide fantastic opportunities for play, learning and socialising. They endeavour to find out individual children's interests, at nursery and at home, to tailor the provision offered. They communicate excellently with parents and always have time to listen.

I was very anxious about sending my little girl to nursery as she was so little but I had no reason to worry with Bambinos Childcare Centre Plymouth. From day one, my little girl has received the most amazing care, she has thrived. She absolutely loves going to nursery. Everyday she is looked after beautifully, whilst also being challenged academically. The staff are fantastic, they have a wealth of knowledge and show genuine love for the children they look after. Bambinos Childcare Centre Plymouth is amazing, purely because they have an incredible attention to detail and there is a real sense that nursery is more than just looking after children. There is a real understanding that education is a journey! Thank you so much to all of the staff at Bambinos Childcare Centre Plymouth, especially the manager and three members of staff in particular.

Bambinos is an outstanding nursery. The staff are amazing and very professional. Our son has additional needs, and from the moment we walked through their doors, they made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble, there were only solutions. We knew straight away our son would be very happy in their love and care. He developed a beautiful bond with everyone at Bambinos. His diary was packed with all the exciting activities he did every day. The facilities are amazing, beautiful outdoor space whatever the weather, sensory room and an amazing soft playroom. The menu was varied, tasty and nutritious. The management and staff went above and beyond in everything they did for us. We believe without their help and support we would have had a difficult journey, but thanks to them our son has been given the best chance in life. Bambinos will always have a special place in our hearts and we will never forget everything they have done for our son. Thank you.

I can't thank you enough for everything you do for our children. After a stressful period for both me and my son spent in another location, I found here people with a noble soul, people who know how to make both parents and children happy. I am extremely satisfied with the evolution of my child, with the trust that was given to him by the whole staff, especially because we come from another country. The whole staff is extremely professional, very helpful, and friendly. We will miss you a lot.

Following other nursery experience previously, once we discovered Bambinos we were extremely happy. Nursery is so big which gives kids enough space (previous nurseries were very cramped) fabulous large garden which allows kids to explore and of course staff are amazing. Everyone’s always happy, willing to help where they can and provide extra support to those who need it. Now also our daughter has joined Bambinos and it’s the only place we can leave her at (she’s very shy and doesn't like being left with anyone but us). Thank you, Bambinos, and keep your extra hard work going, you're doing a brilliant job!

Good communication and help especially with international families. Brilliant Manager, very helpful and supportive with all we need. Nice staff and friendly environment.

I wish they did after school care for older kids because I will miss them when my son is too old to attend.

Absolutely love Bambinos! All the staff are so friendly and helpful. My son has been attending since Sept 19 and has come on so much. I'm amazed and so appreciative of all the things he learns whilst there. I don't have personal experience of using another nursery but friends and colleagues who use other nurseries closer to home seem to have problems I certainly have not experienced with Bambinos.

The facilities are fantastic and the staff are really lovely. He really enjoys going to nursery and telling us about everything he's done and everyone he's played with.

Friendly and caring staff, lovely homey environment with an amazing amount of things for children to explore and play with. Very careful with food allergies, patient and caring with my son who has additional needs.

My little boy has been going here for a couple of years now and I can't fault the staff or nursery. I find the staff attentive and helpful with my child and they truly care. He comes home every day having learnt something new and still takes me by surprise! So I would definitely recommend this nursery!

I would like to know more about the learning and development side of the nursery so will be booking a parents evening soon.

My second child will finish at Bambino's in July and I can honestly say I will miss the team at Houndiscombe Rd, both my daughters have been so supported by the team. I feel they have been genuinely cared for and looked after, there has been an interest in home life and we have always known what we should be doing to help with supporting their learning. I would highly recommend Bambinos if you want your child to be in safe hands.

My son loves Bambinos Childcare Centre Plymouth, he never wants to go home. If he could stay all day, every day, he would. He has such a good relationship with the girls at the nursery. They care so well for him and always have his best interests at heart. I never worry about how he's getting on because I know he is in the best care.

My son loves his time at nursery and really enjoys playing with friends and doing all the activities. He is also really cheeky when hanging around with his little friends. My son loves playing in the garden more than anything.

Lovely warm environment with caring and approachable staff. Nothing is too much trouble and there is a good understanding of individual needs. Good healthy menu which caters to a variety of tastes and offers alternatives.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. Both my daughter and son have attended and we couldn’t ask for a more thorough, trusting and wonderful care. We are so happy with the staff here who genuinely care for the children as they would for their own.
