I wish I had found Bambinos Childcare Centre Tavistock sooner. The change in my child since attending has been astronomical. He is confident, bubbly and always excited to go to nursery. The staff are outstanding and always greet us all with smiles and warmth. I feel so happy to leave him, confidently knowing he is being well cared for and you cannot ask for more. They always have time for us as parents and are very respectful. They wash and dry clothes that have been heavily muddied/soiled and it astounds me every time. The food is my envy, I want to stay for the meals. He is never hungry and also, importantly, well watered. They are a truly wonderful nursery with staff that deserve complete acknowledgement of their hard work. Thank you.

Bambinos Childcare Centre Tavistock is a great nursery where our grandchildren are very happy and love going there. The staff are great and it has a homely feeling.
A lovely nursery with a very friendly, helpful and caring team. I feel confident that my daughter has all the attention and support she needs to develop and love seeing the bits of craft she has produced whilst at nursery.
Our daughter joined the nursery in October when she was 9 months old, she loves Bambinos. The girls are so lovely, they do so many activities with them, we are so happy with our daughter's development.
My grandsons have been attending the nursery (mostly full-time) for the last 3 years (in babies, toddlers and pre-school) and have been very happy there and have formed good relationships with the staff. Staff are welcoming and caring, happy to chat to parents/grandparents/carers and know the children well. The children love all the activities and skip in happily every day. I would have no hesitation in recommending this nursery, which has a very "home from home" atmosphere while remaining professional.

All of my 3 children have attended Bambinos in Tavistock and loved it. My youngest son started in September 2018 aged 2 and we couldn’t wish for a better childcare choice. Bambinos offers a very personal approach, staff members are friendly and enthusiastic, communication with parents and carers is excellent. My son has made a great progress in every area, but most importantly he’s happy to go to nursery every morning. Happy children, happy parents, thoroughly recommended.

Meet the Team (1)
Hi, I’m Marni. I began my career in early years over 10 years ago as an apprentice, also working as a 1:1 support for children with Autism. After qualifying, I progressed to Team Leader in an under-twos room before moving into a Nursery Manager role.
Following our family move to Devon, I continued my journey as a Team Leader in a 2–to 3-year room and am now proud to be Nursery Manager here in Tavistock.
I believe every child is unique, and that the early years are a vital time for developing the skills that support them throughout life. Creating a home-from-home environment where children feel safe, excited and confident to explore is at the heart of everything I do.
Outside of nursery life, I’m a mum to two young boys. As a family, we enjoy long walks with our dog, especially trips to the beach, and I love relaxing with a good book when I can.
The most rewarding part of my role is supporting both families and my team, whether that’s offering reassurance, sharing experience or celebrating achievements along the way.
