Puffins in the City

A truly amazing place.

Our son has been attending Puffins in the City for more than a year and we are very happy with the nursery.

My little girl came to Puffins when she was 8 months, she was made to feel very welcome. She has been at the nursery for a year and I have been really impressed with the enthusiasm of the staff and the care she has received. They do different activities each day and are given lots of opportunities to explore different things. The staff are really honest about how the day has been which I have really valued. I also like having a look to see what she has been up to whilst at work and they have an app that you can check your child's day. A brilliant nursery would recommend them to other parents especially as each child is made to feel special.

My son attends Puffins 5 days a week, he’s always happy there and learning new experiences. The staff are very good with him and always keep you updated on things plus the ParentZone app is brilliant so you can see what he’s been doing and eating too.

Puffins In the City are absolutely fantastic! My son loves spending time there, has learnt so much and has found a home from home. The team are brilliant and work so hard to develop the children and do different things every week. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

My son only attends nursery a couple of days a week but he is made to feel like the most important person whilst he is there. They are always doing something different with the children, coming up with creative ideas, games and activities for them. All of the staff are a credit to Puffins and are fantastic with the children. My son has recently had a few confidence issues and everyone at the nursery has worked really hard to help him overcome this. They offer a comprehensive and varied activity plan, take the children out every day and each member of staff is enthusiastic about their job. My son absolutely loves his key worker and I have really appreciated her honest and open approach from the start. If you are looking for a progressive, creative and professional nursery who genuinely care about the development and well being of children then look no further!

My son struggled for a while when he switched rooms, but we worked together and now he's happy to go and settle with his friends and find something to play, or sometimes have a cuddle with a member of staff to have a look around before engaging with play. The staff in Puffins in the City are happy and inviting. They have been great throughout the 2 years my son has been with them.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend, from my experience.

The staff members have been extremely kind and helpful to our baby, they have helped her settle in this new environment. They also send regular updates throughout the day which makes a working day more enjoyable! Would definitely recommend!!

Fantastic nursery. Caring staff who take the time to get to know the parents and provide a safe, caring environment for my child. I have no hesitations recommended the team and look forward to watching my child develop further in very capable hands.

So happy with the time my son spent at this nursery, all staff are great and so helpful. Unfortunately, I've had to take my son out of nursery due to change in working days but hopefully, you will see us again. Thank you so much.

My daughter has been at Puffins for 6 months now and is about to move from the Baby room to the Bumblebees room (age 2). We are extremely pleased with our choice of nursery for her. Short and sweet review but we really cannot fault anything, she is a happy, intelligent child and all her needs are being met. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends. Thank you.

Great nursery! Our son attended from the age of one until he was two and a half. He loved it there. Staff are great and really care about the children. If we hadn't moved, he would still be going there along with his baby twin sisters.

It was a huge decision to go back to work, made much easier by knowing that our son is happy and well looked after.

Very happy with the service I have received in the last 2 1/2 years.

The standard of care provided is fantastic and the activities in the "Bumble bee" room in particular are innovative and something my son really enjoys. My daughter is in the baby room and is given lots of attention and stimulation. She is encouraged to be independent and walk to activities rather than being put in the buggy. The previous manager was fantastic at discussing with parents but unfortunately the new manager does not come out of her office. That said the nursery is well run so perhaps she is content acting on that.

My child and myself are very happy with this nursery, I find i can go to work feeling completely at ease that he is safe, well looked after and completely happy with the staff and facilities. I feel my child has a very good connection and relationship with the room leader and his personal keyworker. He shows nothing but excitement generally when he attends nursery. I feel myself that I have a good relationship with the staff and they always take the time to update me on the days events.

Since my son started nursery in March 2015, he has learnt to walk, speak and has settled in really well with the help of the brilliant staff at Puffins. I would highly recommend them to any other parent thinking of sending their child to a nursery in the city centre.
