Puffins at Mont Le Grand

My daughters are lucky enough to attend, and the care they receive is wonderful. It’s such a nurturing and thoughtful environment, and the girls have so much fun! I have no doubt that their safety is always at the forefront of staff’s mind and the lovely men and women working there have helped so much in easing their anxiety after lockdowns and Covid. My family owes them an enormous debt, and we feel so lucky to know that Mont le Grand will be the setting of some of their earliest childhood memories! Can’t fault them and can’t recommend them more highly.

My daughter has been attending Puffins for a few months. She settled so quickly and literally runs into nursery every day- she is so happy being there. The staff are warm and caring and the communication from them is excellent. The staff at Puffins are especially conscious of my daughter's needs and go out of their way to support her. I couldn’t be happier with them.

What could have been a very stressful time for myself and my little one was in fact a lovely journey for us, all thanks to the wonderful team at Puffins.

The staff are lovely and caring, the children all seem very happy and we really appreciate that they use an app which keeps us up to date on sleep, feeds and photos throughout the day.

Our two-year-old daughter goes to Puffins three days a week and is very happy there. She always looks forward to going and comes back full of stories of her day spent with her friends and the nursery staff.

Everybody at Puffins is always very friendly and available for a chat, and they provide really good regular feedback on our child's development.

Our two elder children were also at Puffins and enjoyed it just as much.

We've had a brilliant experience with Puffins. My daughter is there full time. The staff are genuinely caring and wonderful with all of the children. My daughter always leaves buzzing with excitement and delighted to have spent the day there. She's bonded so well with the children there and has made some lovely friends. I particularly enjoy seeing the updates/photos on the Parentzone app - lots of fun and joy whilst playing and learning. would highly recommend!

I cannot rate Puffins Mount le Grand highly enough. Two of my children have progressed through the nursery. The first attended from 2013 and the second just left in summer 2021. In all those years we have been extremely happy with the care and expertise shown to our children. It honestly felt so sad when both children left - as if we were leaving family. All the staff members were absolutely brilliant. They have obviously been trained really well but the way they looked after and taught my children went beyond that. They all treated my children so well and genuinely cared. Most recently through the pandemic they were astounding and managed to get through it without it affecting the children too much but still keeping them safe. I have nothing but good things to say about the nursery. My last baby was really clingy to me (mum) and cried a lot of the day and night with tummy pain. This did not phase them when he started and he finally was happy to be left with people other than me.

Puffins at Mont Le Grand is amazing. Welcoming, staff are wonderful and our child is always happy to attend and comes home very tired but very happy. They have always been very accommodating if we have asked to change days and times. Lots of outdoor play, singing and everything else you would expect from a nursery. An all round lovely nursery that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Nothing but good things to say on Puffins - they've been absolutely brilliant with our daughter. She always finishes her day at the nursey happy and content. Being able to see photos of her through the day via the ParentZone app is also a really nice touch.

The staff have always been great at helping my child to settle in, especially after a 3-month break due to Covid last year. My child is always happy after her time at pre-school and we’ve never had any cause for concern.

My son has been attending Puffins Mont Le Grand since he was 7 months old, and we only have the very best things to say about this nursery. Staff are warm, friendly and communicative, and he settled in without any problem at all. They have managed the current Covid-19 restrictions in the most professional way, and it has been such a joy to see my son grow into a happy and curious little boy over the past 6 months. The staff are passionate about making a fun and caring environment for the children, and I love the range of activities he gets to do while he is there. The setting is beautiful and feels very safe - I would recommend Puffins Mont Le Grand to anyone without any reservation. I can't say enough good things about this nursery!

Puffins nursery have always been very good at communicating with us as parents. They have been very good at settling my son into both the baby room and the bumblebee room. The staff are very hardworking, friendly and competent with children.

A great team of key workers at Mont le Grand, who are very friendly and professional. My child is very happy here and has made lots of friends over the last few years. I would recommend this setting to friends and family.

My son has been attending Puffins at Mont Le Grand nursery for just over a year now. We have recently been given a diagnosis of autism for him and staff have been amazing in supporting him. He started nursery not liking being around other people and couldn’t say any words at all but since starting Puffins he has come on so well. He really enjoys going to nursery and always comes out happy. I never have any worries about leaving him at nursery and staff are always welcoming and friendly.

I am always completely confident that my daughters have been cared for, stimulated and kept safe by the lovely team at Puffins at Mont Le Grand. She excitedly chatters about the staff team as though they are her friends and that says more than anything! They have been absolutely amazing during the challenges of the past year, showing incredible flexibility and support. Thank you.

Our first two children each spent two and a half years at Puffins. They loved it, the staff are very friendly and they came home singing nursery rhymes. The staff have been very supportive for potty training and made it easy. Our third child has just started a week ago and her transition was very smooth. The staff were happy to adapt to expressed breast milk and reusable nappies. Thank you Puffins!

My children absolutely thrived at Puffins. They really loved the staff. The staff form brilliant relationships with the children and the children are very happy. Every time they come home they are bubbly and talk about the fun day they had.

We have been so pleased with puffins. My daughter went there for pre-school and my son has been at puffins since he was 8 months. The staff are so kind, my daughter had some troubles with her hearing and they went over and above to give her the extra care and support she needed. The staff are so supportive and take such good care of the children. I couldn’t ask for a better setting for my children during the days I work.

My daughter is very happy attending Puffins at Mont Le Grand. If I pick her up early she wants to go back again and sometimes she wants to go even on Saturday. She loves it and she has made a lot of friends.
