Pixieland Day Nursery - Mannamead

Our little boy started when he was 8 months old and all the staff made it so comfortable and easy for me to drop him off each morning. He always has a huge smile on his face when we get to the red door in the morning. All the staff are approachable and friendly and so encouraging of not just my little one but also me if I'm not sure about how to encourage him with things. The daily diaries are so helpful and so is the communication at all times, never need to worry about ringing up during the day to ask anything - even on days when he isn't in! I can't recommend Pixieland enough, I'll be so sad when it's time to leave!

My little boy has only been here a few months but I'm really happy I have finally found the perfect nursery for him. I could not ask for better people to take care of my son. They do so much with him and for him. I previously had him in another nursery, which made me worry about putting him in another but I was reassured and all my worries were put to bed before my son even started. I would highly recommend this team of ladies and their nursery. You can see from the minute they open the door in the mornings that they work well together and that they are a team, there's always great communication from them, there is always reassurance and they can never do enough for you or your child. As you can tell I have so many positive things to say about this place. Thank you so much for everything 20/20 from me.

My son loves it here, it’s such a wonderful nursery, including the staff and facilities. They are very reassuring, he loves the girls and always has so much fun when he is there. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

Our eighteen month old boy joined in September, the first few sessions were hesitant however by the fourth, he was running in without goodbyes! The staff are so welcoming, encouraging and friendly. It feels like everyone really knows him and knows his name. The daily sessions are varied, creative and engaging. The communication is excellent with regards to his daily diary as well as all other matters. I would definitely recommend!

I cannot recommend Pixieland Day Nursery - Mannamead enough! Both my children have been so happy there and the staff are fabulous! I feel very confident leaving both children there everyday, I know they are cared for really well.

The best nursery in Plymouth. The staff are all so wonderful and attentive to my daughter. She has been at Pixieland Day Nursery - Mannamead since September 2020 and has come on leaps and bound since. Her speech has improved dramatically and the staff are so encouraging! The daily diaries are a Godsend. It’s great to see what the children have been up to that day and what they’ve had to eat. The photos and videos are lovely, it’s so nice to get a glimpse of what my daughter does and how she interacts with the other children and staff. All in all, I can’t fault this nursery, it is just fantastic and sending my daughter here was the best decision I have made.

Excellent nursery in all areas! My little boy has attended here since he was eleven months old and has always received brilliant care. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the nursery is very clean and have amazing resources for the children!

The nursery is absolutely amazing, I can’t fault it in anyway. They have been so supportive of me and my young children, one of which is wearing a hearing aid, honestly the staff are all so amazingly friendly as well, nothing but high praise for the whole staff.

We have been delighted with Pixieland Mannamead, the managers and staff go above and beyond for our child. They are consistently cheerful, kind, flexible and supportive. Our son has bloomed under their care and is excited to go!

Pixieland Day Nursery - Mannamead is the best day nursery in Plymouth. My son is thriving. He has made friends and his confidence builds day by day. All members of staff are friendly, helpful, kind and caring. Nothing is ever too much for the manager and her team and this has been even more apparent during the current pandemic. Thank goodness for Pixieland Day Nursery - Mannamead, enabling a much needed happy environment for my son during these uncertain times.

From day one with my children, the staff were phenomenal. My children know everyone’s names and talk so fondly of them. Their learning has been incredible to watch and they come home from every session beaming! There’s never a dull day and the communication between staff and parents is top notch. Can’t recommend them more.

We decided to pull him from there and found him a place at Pixieland Day Nursery - Mannamead! Since then, he has been happier not only in nursery but at home, looks forward to going to nursery and has recently been signed off from speech and language having only been there since January. The staff are absolutely amazing here, nothing is too much and they give the children such amazing support, but also the parents too. I am so happy that my little boy is thriving at Pixieland Day Nursery and will most definitely be placing my youngest in there when he’s ready!

I feel so relaxed leaving my son there as they meet all his needs.

My little boy was 10 months when he started nursery. I was extremely anxious as we've had a negative experience in another nursery. However, my little one loved it from day one! :) I didn't feel guilty for leaving him there as I knew he was happy and having a lot of fun, and most importantly I knew he was safe. the staff in the baby room are absolutely amazing. I can't recommend this nursery enough.

Our son has been going Pixieland on Mannamead Rd for the last six months. Except for the first two weeks of getting used to being away from home, he has loved every single day at the nursery. The staff go above and beyond to make the nursery experience an enjoyable one and my son is so excited whenever he sees any of the staff. Everybody is very approachable and happy to help whenever necessary. I cannot rate my experience with Pixieland highly enough.

My daughter joined the nursery for one day a week when she was 6 months old. I was returning to work and worried about leaving her but the staff were absolutely superb. Her language and social skills are coming on amazingly and she is always happy when I tell her it’s time to go see the other children at nursery. My staff are always helpful and answer my questions quickly, whilst showing genuine care. Highly recommend.

My daughter has been attending Pixieland since Sept 2019 when she was 10 months old. She attends twice a week and has an early start on both days. My daughter is always greeted with such warm, welcoming smiles and she is always happy when I leave her. It is so comforting to know how attentive the staff are to her needs. Makes leaving my daughter and going to work that bit easier!

The nursery manager is absolutely lovely and always does her best to help, whether it is something to do with an invoice or trying to book an extra session last minute. All of the girls working there are incredible. Our key worker is very professional but also super friendly and great to have a chat to. So are all the other girls. My son loves them and has made lots of friends and is absolutely thriving at Pixieland. Any issues or questions can always be discussed with the girls at nursery and they go above and beyond to help with any problems or worries you have about your child. We will be very sorry to leave when school starts!

When my son comes home and he is smiling and talking non stop in the car, I know he has had another great day. He talks about the staff continuously and knows them all by name, and he always has a big smile as he is talking. The nursery staff from the newest member of the team right the way through to the manager all know him by name and always greet him with a smile and by his name. In return, he always says thank you at the end of the day to show them how much he appreciates their hard work. They are a credit to themselves and to Pixieland.

Absolutely amazing nursery. There isn’t a member of staff that doesn’t go above and beyond for all children in the nursery. I can’t thank them enough for the development and confidence my child has developed.
