Pixieland Day Nursery - Mannamead

Fantastic nursery and fantastic team. My daughter has been at Pixieland Mannamead for about a year and a half. She amazes me every day with what she learns. She has made friends and loves to be there. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The team are very accommodating and have a real genuine interest in each and every child.

I could not recommend this nursery enough! My daughter (3) has been going since she was 8 months old and we have never had any problems! The staff are so kind and caring and my daughter has formed some wonderful bonds with members of staff. The communication between staff and parents is fab, I always know what my daughter has been up to, what she has eaten etc. Now that my daughter is old enough to give me her own account of the day she comes home and tells me about all the fun she has had, who she has played with and what she has learnt. She is such a bright, polite, caring little girl and the staff at Pixieland have a lot of credit to take for this. I don't know what I would do without them!

My son has been going to Pixieland since he was 1 and a half years old and really enjoys it. The staff are very friendly and caring and the facilities are great, my son especially likes the jungle gym and playing outside. My son is now 2 and has progressed on to the toddler room, this progression was done very sympathetically as he had lots of settling in sessions and seemed content to move up when he finally did. I do feel that maybe more interaction with the parents would help for example the previous nursery where my older son went put on Xmas play/Easter bonnet parades and other events that the parents were always invited to if they could make it, this has yet to happen at Pixieland yet although maybe it is something that we happened to miss. Overall it is an excellent nursery and I am very happy to take my son there.

My granddaughter has been attending Pixieland Mannamead since she was a baby and now she is in preschool. She has learnt so many things in that time and her speech is amazing. In her time there so far she has learnt to count, say the alphabet, sing, interact with other children. The amazing staff helped her to toilet train which she took to very quickly. As I pick her up from nursery every day I am told how her day has gone and what things she has been doing. I cannot fault the staff at all. They are all so helpful, happy and I know they all put the children first. I am so glad my granddaughter attends here.

My son has attended Pixieland for the past 6 months. From the moment we started, the nursery staff have been incredibly supportive, accommodating, friendly and helpful and have made the return to work after maternity leave a much less stressful experience.

I can't fault the nursery or its staff and we are so pleased that we chose to send our son to Pixieland.

Pixieland Day Nursery is an extremely friendly nursery all the staff are polite and are highly involved in all the children that attend the nursery. The staff are highly qualified in early years education. They give the children a brilliant start in education and will go out of their way to ensure the parents and child are happy. They make the children feel welcome and parents feel relaxed and happy that their children are safe and cared for whilst they are in the care of the nursery happy parents happy children.

My son attended the preschool at Mannamead before leaving to go to school. Every day, he would ask if it was a nursery school day and often talk about the staff he wanted to go and see. When being dropped off by me or his nan the staff always made him feel welcome and took the time to settle him fully ready for the day. They helped him so much with toilet training and I can't thank them enough for that. He became extremely self-confident and outgoing whilst attending Pixieland.

I now use the holiday club for my son and my daughter and they provide great activities for the older children during these times. My daughter who is 6 always looks forward to going to nursery to help look after the little preschool children as she says.

My son attends this nursery, I am highly satisfied with the service we receive. I have been to look at other nurseries and the quality and cleanliness of their facilities do not compare to others. I also find the nursery is very cosy and not overwhelming for little ones.

Overall, we feel safe and happy leaving our daughter with Pixieland and are pleased we made the decision to choose this nursery.

Pixieland have been amazing with my daughter. They have been incredibly understanding and flexible with us when I was hospitalised previously and flexible with our shift work. Our daughter loves going and always has a good time whilst she’s there. She comes home tired from all the fun activities she’s been doing and they are helping her develop extremely well. I couldn’t speak highly enough of Pixieland and the staff.

The staff have always been lovely and welcoming and very caring when sometimes my son doesn't quite want to be left by myself or his dad.

I viewed lots of local nursery schools when looking for a childcare provider for my little boy and Pixieland shone well above the rest. The staff are very friendly, helpful and trustworthy and the nursery itself is inviting and welcoming. My little boy is currently in the toddler room and the staff who look after him are really lovely, he comes home each day telling me about the things that he has taken part in and I can tell that he’s had a lovely time. I am a primary school teacher myself and cannot recommend this nursery highly enough!

All staff are very friendly and helpful, they have helped my little one settle in really well he loves going in.

Lots of activities for the children.

All the staff are so friendly and helpful. They have made made my child feel extremely comfortable and at ease. The facilities at the nursery are great, I would and have recommended it to others.

My daughter has lots of fun here. All the staff are nice and easy to approach. If I have any problems, either minor or serious, it gets dealt with straight away. The nursery has lots of educational things to do as well as enough toys for lots of play. They have a good outdoor space and a fantastic sensory room.
