Happy Days Nursery & Pre-School - Playbox

We absolutely love the staff at Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Playbox! They are such a friendly, kind group of people and are led by a terrific leader who brings a sense of calm and control. Our son is really settling in well now and that’s thanks to the great staff at Playbox.

My son has settled in very well and I love how all the staff know him. We have good communication with his key worker and I can chat to her each day about anything that has cropped up or what he is enjoying at home for example.

Happy Days Playbox provides my child with a safe and happy environment in which to thrive. She is always happy to be dropped off and will happily go to all members of staff. This is down to the hard work and enthusiasm of every member of staff. They all know her by name, even if they are not in her room, and also the names of other members of our family which helps to create a smooth transition between home and nursery. My daughter has an allergy which again all members of staff are aware of and I'm extremely happy with the care and safeguarding which the nursery put in place. All in all we are so happy with Playbox and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a brilliant and caring place to send your child.

Our two little ones started in January and have settled in so well. The team are brilliant, you can clearly see how much they love their jobs and care about the children. We’ve had a lot of change with moving house to a new city and they’ve provided support, flexibility and genuine care about how we all are. They’ve also been incredibly supportive with allergies and providing well-rounded alternatives. Couldn’t be happier with Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Playbox, what a wonderful nursery and team.

I can’t rate this nursery enough. The staff are amazing, they take so much interest in my daughter. My daughter loves nursery and it has helped her thrive. I will miss bringing her along to nursery once she starts school.

Amazing staff. My daughter has been going to this nursery since she was eight months old and is now nearly three, and she has come on in leaps and bounds. Always happy and communicate very well with parents.

I always find the nursery and the staff excellent. I feel totally at ease leaving my little one and know she is in safe hands. She has grown in confidence, and we recognise the importance of nursery in her development and are so pleased we found Playbox.

Absolutely brilliant care and service, both my son and daughter love going to Happy Days. Thinking back to lockdown and what the nursery did back in that period for us, it is remarkable. I would have liked to have seen a few more original activities.

We absolutely love Happy Days Playbox. The learning schemes are fantastic, at every opportunity, the kids are outside which I adore. Both my girls (2 years) and (7 months) are incredibly happy - they run in every time!

My son attended the preschool at Happy Days Playbox and loved it. The staff were amazing - really caring and always took the time to explain in detail how his day had gone. There were lots of lovely activities and the environment was inviting, stimulating and very clean. The garden area is a great size too. My daughter has just started in the baby room and once again, they have gone above and beyond to help her settle and let us know how she is getting on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the nursery and preschool to other parents.

Our little girl has had an absolute blast at Happy Days over the last 3 years. A real home-from-home. Fabulous garden and activities. The staff were very friendly and professional. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we will be sending our next addition.

Both my children love the nursery and have been very happy there. The staff are wonderful and also happy to help where they can. Overall a brilliant place to learn and flourish.

The twins love the Playbox. Personnel is extremely friendly and communicative. Activities are diverse and interesting.

Really friendly staff who settled my child into nursery really well. The staff seem to have a really good knowledge of his behaviour and interests, showing he is well attended through the day.

Really lovely team, made me feel at ease during a difficult time. Our keyworker is amazing with our boy, takes her time with him, looks out for all the signs in his behaviour. Brilliant! The staff are very informative helping every step of the way.

I can’t recommend Happy Days Nursery & Preschool - Playbox highly enough! Both of my boys have been here and really enjoyed coming. My youngest is still here and is coming on leaps and bounds with his learning and interaction. It is a lovely caring environment where children can thrive!

Our little boy has been going to Happy Days Playbox since he was 16 months old. We have been delighted with the care he has received since day 1. The staff have been very caring and communication has been excellent. He really enjoys going to nursery ad he seems to be learning a lot. The garden is fantastic. Overall we thoroughly recommend this nursery.

We started at Playbox when my son was a baby attending baby massage, then stay and play. I had such a lovely feeling about Happy Days Playbox I was in no doubt that I wanted my son to attend when I had to return to work. The staff are amazing, so supportive to both my son and us as parents, through every stage. The Smart Start learning process has really had an impact on my son, the support we received to continue this at home during Covid lockdown was excellent and my son has now returned to Playbox and loves it. The processes they have in place post lockdown is also excellent. We will miss them all when he starts school in September but thanks to Playbox he is more than ready for school.
