Flying Start @ Camborne

Flying Start Camborne has been a wonderful setting for my son, he always comes home happy and chatting away about what a lovely time he has had. The staff are really kind and supportive and have done everything they can to make his time there an exciting and nourishing experience.

Both my son and daughter attend Flying Start @ Camborne and I could not be happier with this nursery! My son has been going for a little longer since he has started his speech has come on tremendously and I have the staff to thank for their amazing support and helping him to improve. With my son absolutely loving this nursery and being so well cared for it was a no-brainer when it came to choosing childcare for my daughter. I was a little nervous as I had never left her with anyone before she had her settle session but the staff were really helpful and it’s been so reassuring knowing how much my son loves to go. She has settled into the nursery really well and since going her social skills have improved so well! The icing on top of the cake for this nursery is its vast outside space! The garden is incredible and the children spend so much time outside in the natural elements which to me for my children is really important!

Very impressed with the Flying Start @ Camborne! My son absolutely loves attending and as soon as we are greeted at the door he’s full of smiles and can't wait to be carried in by the staff (just turned one and can’t yet walk). Staff are so welcoming and always give me updates about his day and courtesy calls if any accidents happen. I’m so glad I chose this nursery for my son I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know. Thanks to all the staff for your hard work!

I have nothing but praise, an amazing nursery, my son loves it. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. They have been very helpful in helping my son with his speech which is getting better week by week. I wholeheartedly trust them 100% when my son is in their care, I couldn’t ask for more than that.

Both my girls have and still attend Flying Start @ Camborne. They have an amazing time. All the staff are extremely helpful, friendly and always have time listen and offer advice on there next steps or just general enquiries.

My son is delayed but since he's started nursery he's coming on leaps and bounds. The staff are fantastic, friendly, supportive, very welcoming and understanding. My son is so excited when he comes to nursery.

Both my children use the holiday club in the school holidays and always have a wonderful time. They adore the staff, the activities and the food choices. The activities are varied and suit both of their interests as well as having a mix of both indoor and outdoors.

My child has been part of this nursery now since January 2019. The nursery staff have done all they can to welcome him and help him settle after lots of separation anxiety by gradually building up sessions. He now loves nursery so much he forgets to say goodbye and can’t wait to go back again. Can’t fault them at all!

The staff are great with my son and always feel comfortable leaving him. Really enjoy seeing what he has been up to on the online app, he has a great time and does lots of outdoor learning too which is great for him!

This nursery is amazing, my son loves going to nursery and the staff are so friendly and caring. They do so many activities and encourage learning through having fun. My son always has to tell me about the food he receives, the meals always sound nutritious and delicious. A brilliant nursery. Me and my wife are so happy that our son is part of the flying start nursery.

All my children have attended Flying Start Camborne at different times over the last 11 years with my youngest in the toddler room at present. The relationships the staff form with the children are incredible and their care and compassion is outstanding. Each of my girls have thrived and excelled in all areas thanks to the extensive curriculum planning and personalised plans, tailored to their individual strengths and weaknesses. The recent addition of communication via the EYLog is a pleasant addition to my working day when I receive updates about her activities and photos showing me all the fun things she's doing. I am confident that when she leaves to go to school, she will be a confident and able child that really has had 'a flying start!' just like her older sisters!

Excellent nursery and amazing staff members. All kind and polite. All my children have gone to this nursery so far and I wouldn’t change them. Been brilliant with all my children and meet all of their needs.

My boys have a real fondness for their carers/teachers at Flying Start @ Camborne which goes to show the positivity, encouragement and time the staff give the children. They learn such a lot. A lovely team of people in a great setting.

My twin girls love the nursery, considering they started in July in the middle of lockdown, and never set foot inside. They were immediately made welcome and always happy to go in. They tell me the lovely food they have and get to do different activities all the time. I'm always updated using the app and in-person on pick up. Nothing bad to say at all. Lovely people in a lovely setting.

My little boy was initially at another Flying Start nursery which closed so he had to move to another setting. I then found out Camborne was opening a baby room and despite COVID the manager couldn't have been more accommodating letting me come and see it. I immediately loved the feel of the place, it was so homely and all the staff were really welcoming. As an added bonus my little ones key worker from his previous nursery, who he loved, moved there as well! He settled in straight away and was so happy. The staff are all so helpful, knew me and my little one by name within the first week. They spend so much time outdoors which I really like as we do that at home. My little one beams as soon as we get to the car park and doesn't even give me a backward glance as I hand him over! I wouldn't send him anywhere else.

My child returned to the nursery once it reopened following the covid pandemic, and the support we received was fantastic as my child found the time particularly challenging and thrives on routine and structure. He's back to his happy self and always has a lovely time. We continue to use the nursery for ad hoc childcare in school holidays which has always been useful and reliable.

I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family.

The good quality food available for lunch was a real positive, it has really helped my son explore so many different meals, and he became so much happier to eat anything at home. Would highly recommend to anyone I know!

My daughter started at the nursery just before her third birthday having only been cared for by family, but what I noticed very quickly (which was very reassuring) is the nursery has a family-like feel. The staff are all so friendly and lovely. Unfortunately, due to the recent pandemic, my daughter was unable to attend nursery for some months, and I was worried about how she would settle back in, as she hadn't long been attending the nursery. But it was clear from her first day back that she was very happy and comfortable. I think the recent introduction of 'bubbles' has already had a really positive impact on my daughter as she says she has "new friends". I am very happy with the nursery and look forward to seeing my daughter continue to develop and thrive there.
