Flying Start @ Camborne

My son absolutely LOVES going to Flying Start, Camborne! He has been attending for 21 months and most of the time, he doesn't even look back at me at drop-off and has recently started walking in hand-in-hand with his best friend. This shows how much he enjoys his time there and how comfortable he is. I am so grateful for the friendly, competent staff who provide such a fun, educational setting which is encouraging my son to learn, socialise and build his confidence. We are so pleased that he has taken to it all so well! The regular updates on the app are lovely to see and reassuring to know he is being well cared for. Well done Flying Start Camborne team!

I was apprehensive for when the time came to leave my child with anyone, but Flying Start eased both my child and myself into it. They warmly welcomed us and made my child feel comfortable and valued. They give updates at the end of each day and by the sounds of it fill their days with activities and fun. My child is now ready to start school and has loved her preschool experience! Memories she will treasure for life.

A brilliant nursery. My son attends and loves the place. We viewed quite a few nurseries and this instantly seems welcoming and friendly. They have a great balance of fun and education. So many different activities to keep children of all ages entertained. My son really looks forward to attending each week which makes it a lot easier to send him. Would 100% recommend this nursery.

Our daughter loves this nursery. Been going since 9 months and still there now two and a half years. The staff there are lovely and build a good rapport with parents. Receiving weekly pictures are a good touch for nervous parents when leaving them at first. Daughter comes home telling us stories about her fun day and trips. Recommend to anyone.

Not enough words to describe all our feelings about this nursery. Our daughter used to have adaptability problems before we started with you. She settled in very well with the place and staff. Management is very helpful and looking for every solution to be sorted. Our daughter with speaking problems is happy every single day in this nursery. Her development evolved very fast. I've seen with my own eyes the huge effort done by the staff and management to cover the needs of children with problems. In my opinion, they are heroes. Our heroes, please keep doing the same job! And thank you is not enough! I wish I could do more for you after I've seen how you work with all these kids. Love you all!

Staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming. My little one has come on leaps and bounds since joining the setting. I love being able to see updates of my child learning new things which is a great way of communication also with the staff and parents. The setting is presented well and lots of facilities and space available for the ages of the children that attend the nursery.

Absolutely outstanding the level of care at this nursery, the support given to my child to meet his individual needs is exceptional and I would recommend anybody searching for child care to access Flying Start. I’m so happy with our experience.

Amazing nursery. My daughter loves going to nursery and hates leaving. She has so much fun and is always talking about the staff and the fun activities she does, the staff are always very friendly at drop off and collection.

Really helpful and friendly staff. I know my child is always in the best hands there regarding education/development. The staff are amazing with keeping parents posted with what they are doing in nursery through the EY log and a review at the end of the day.

I think the nursery is doing a wonderful job my son is doing so well learning so much at nursery the staff are very supportive friendly and always helpful my son loves going to nursery he loves all the activities he's always happy going to nursery and happy when he is picked up well done to all the staff at Flying Start Nursery, Camborne.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our little girl receives at nursery. She attends the Baby Room and has been going for the last 5 months now. The staff are all amazing, friendly, and hands-on. Our little one is always doing fun activities that staff have arranged that are appropriate for the baby's sensory development and learning, she has plenty of opportunities to explore, get messy, have fun, get some fresh air outside. The snacks and meals they are given are all well balanced, our daughter seems to enjoy it very much. The nursery had a very tough time recently with many staff isolating due to covid/illness and still managed to open for many parents so we could still go to work with some staff even cancelling holidays. A big thank you to Flying Start Camborne for everything you do!

Staff have been fantastic our son has settled in and is enjoying every day. The feedback that is put on the app of what he has done, eaten and slept is really great as we are unable to pick him up so gives us great information.

My granddaughter was struggling in nursery with making friends and I used to have tantrums before going in the mornings. I spoke to the staff and they were so helpful and accommodating changing her days and times to suit her and it worked! She’s much more confident and happy now and looks forward to going to nursery!

My daughter was very nervous about starting nursery as she had a very bad experience with a previous nursery. When I collected her after her first session she had a big smile on her face and couldn't stop saying how much fun she had and could she go again. All the staff members I've met have all been lovely.

If a child has an accident, parents will be contacted straight away. I get updated on things that happen at the nursery, get updates on the app with pictures. Good food and very good childcare and always trying their best for the children

Such a lovely nursery! If I have ever had any problems they have always listened and helped fix the issue at hand. I really appreciate being listened to. I really love the daily/weekly updates of what my little boy is doing especially with pictures - it’s really relieving. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me and giving me full updates when I collect my little boy. Very reassuring. Thank you.

The biggest compliment I can give is that when I ask my daughter if she wants to go to nursery she squeals with excitement and runs to get her shoes and can't wait to get out the door! She really does love going and this can only be down to the wonderful staff and the activities they plan for her.

Excellent school, my children love it. My daughter is naturally very shy and doesn't like meeting new people but has really come out of her shell since joining Camborne Flying Start, I highly recommend them.
