The team here at Busy Bees Barr’s Court are friendly, reliable, trustworthy and they love the children that attend. The Manager and Management team were amazing through lockdown. We were given clear updates leading up to lockdown and clear communications from the team once all children were allowed to re-attend. Thank you for all that you have done for my child over the past two years.

Busy Bees Barrs Court (Longwell Green) has been excellent for our little boy. He has been in this nursery since he was 10 months old (he’s now 2 years old) and they have been so kind, comforting and reassuring (for both my son and us as parents). They offered settling in sessions to suit us all, with my son’s needs put first and were happy to follow our own routine when he first started to get him into the flow of things. Now I know that when he’s been to nursery, he’s been well fed and had a day full of interactive and educational play, what more could I ask for. The whole team are lovely and helpful. They use a parent app to keep us updated throughout the day of meals, nappy changes and naps etc. I cannot praise them enough for the way they have dealt with the pandemic, including communication and so many changes required. I fully recommend this Busy Bees nursery and will be hoping our second child gets a place when the time comes.

Busy Bees has been a great setting for my son. He started when he was 2 and was made to feel very welcome straight away. The key workers within the nursery are really nice and you can tell how much they like the children and form bonds with them. My son was known by everyone at Busy Bees. Fantastic place and would recommend. My son starts school in September and it will be a sad day when we say goodbye to everyone here.

My daughter was settled in by the reassuring arms of the baby room and has developed with thanks to all the staff between and now towards school prep in preschool. In the current pandemic, we were kept well informed, protective measures were arranged, parents and child's need all made paramount.

The displays are always really engaging for the children especially the Butterflies. Parents are kept well informed on upcoming events, changes to policy etc....and communication is great on drop off/pick up.

I and my daughter's experience with this nursery has been excellent. The nursery is well presented and cared for. All staff made us feel welcome and my daughter's keyworkers helped her settle in really well. The only negative I have with the nursery is the price! The pricing is quite high but you get what you pay for and in this nursery, you get an excellent service!!!

Meal options are variable and I am not always convinced that he does eat everything, despite being told this. I would like his last few months to help him academically with writing his name, writing numbers and preparing him for school. I have yet to witness this.

If I call to see how she is, everyone is friendly and honest with how she is. She had a temperature one day and I was called and kept informed with how she was. The food they prepare is excellent and varied. I can't recommend everyone at Busy Bees enough, they made going back to work stress and worry free for me!

My daughter also has a citrus allergy which has also been monitored so well.

My daughter has recently started at the nursery and they have been amazing helping her to settle. She has problems toilet training and the staff have introduced sticker charts and been really supportive during the process. They are all very friendly and helpful and I can't recommend them enough

A great friendly nursery. The staff really are like family to my son. Activities are varied and the staff seem to try really hard to plan things for all the children's interest and ability levels. The food is amazing loved the parents tasting evening and I credit it with meaning my son eats everything.

My daughter has been at this nursery since August 2014 and we continue to be extremely happy with the standard of care she receives. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very warm and friendly. At every level; from the management to key workers to the staff in the kitchen, the standard of care is very high and the attention to detail is exemplary. It did not surprise me in the slightest when the nursery achieved its outstanding rating. My daughter enjoys the variety of activities on offer, the lovely outside space and most of all, the care she receives from her key workers. The nursery has a homely, family feel where everyone takes an interest in your child and in your family. You know that your child is well looked after and you are contacted immediately if there is any query or concern about anything. In addition to this, the staff organise special dressing up days and activities to celebrate events in the calendar. We do not hesitate to recommend this nursery to others.

Our daughter has attended Busy Bees since approximately aged 18-months-old and is coming up to 4. All of the staff are professional, friendly and welcoming - the kids adore them. The rooms are large and colourful with a wide range of activities for the children to join in with and that promote learning. The outside spaces are well kept and always used so the children get plenty of fresh air. We are kept regularly informed with our daughter's progress through parents evenings and informal conversations with staff. The nursery has been exceptional in promoting potty training, manners and all round good behaviours and respect from the children. The food provided is of a high standard with lots of variety. We particularly enjoy being involved in social occasions such as Christmas activities, summer fayre, Mother's Day etc. The nursery are keen to promote celebrations and recognise different holidays and festivals from all over the world. Cannot recommend the nursery highly enough.
