Busy Bees Bristol Barrs Court

Our daughter has been going to Busy Bees at Bristol Barrs Court since July 2019 at 12 months old. She had a few settling in sessions with her key worker and she got upset at each one however her key worker was very reassuring and comforting to me and my daughter and reassured me that she would settle in. Within 2 weeks she was happy once she got into her room with her friends. The staff in the toddler room and 2-3’s are absolutely amazing. They always tell me what kind of day she has had and will update the ParentZone app with what she has eaten and her nap times etc. The food is excellent, well balanced meals, and is cooked daily on site by the 2 lovely chefs. I feel that the Covid-19 procedures have been implemented well and with minimal disruption to the children. Face masks are to be worn at drop off and pick up. Nursery have just introduced 3 separate drop off points depending which room your child/children are in. Thank you Busy Bees for all that you do for our daughter! I would definitely recommend!

Our son joined when he was 13-months-old and we would highly recommend. He has now progressed through the age groups to pre school and when he comes out on an evening happy and excited telling us what a lovely day he has had, this tells us what a fab place Busy Bees at Bristol Barrs Court is. The staff are very friendly and supportive and have been doing an amazing job the past year with everything going on and keeping our little ones safe. Our son has gained confidence through learning and play and this is down to the amazing staff that have been there for him. We cannot thank them enough.

My daughter absolutely loves going to this nursery. All the staff we have encountered have been so friendly, welcoming and supportive of her. They've had to cope during really difficult circumstances over the past year and have always done so with a smile on their faces and have adapted to all the challenges thrown at them.

Caring and creative staff. Good communication from the staff and nursery and approachable with any issues or queries. A lovely atmosphere and friendly nursery which supports my child and her development.

Having a baby during the first lockdown in 2020 made it difficult for my little girl to meet other babies and people before starting nursery. This made me extra nervous when it was time for her to start but all the workers that I’ve met have been amazing. I’m sure every parent hates leaving their child for the first time however even though my little girl cried the first few times dropping her off (which made me cry), when I pick her up, the staff and her key worker made sure to let me know how she is doing, what she played with that day, everything she has/hasn’t eaten. They have shown that this isn’t just a job but that they actually care about the babies/children that they look after during the day. I know that even if my little girl cries when I drop her off she settles quickly and has a great time. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. They are absolutely brilliant.

We feel very lucky and thankful to all the staff at Busy Bees, Barrs Court for making our little boy enjoy his nursery experience day in day out. Even in these challenging times which must be difficult for all, the staff make that extra effort to ensure a safe and welcoming environment on arrival every day. Thank you Busy Bees.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 8 months old and absolutely loves it. All her key workers have been very informative and all the staff are very welcoming. The staff that works closely with my daughter have been very supportive of her needs not just for her but also for me and my husband. The nursery has a very nice and simple layout with lots of indoor and outdoor space. In reference to how they have dealt with covid-19, I can not fault them, they have made all necessary changes for theirs and the children’s safety but in a way that makes the children still feel like life is normal which is imperative during this difficult time. My daughter looks forward to going into nursery/preschool every morning when she attends, I get a wave from her at the door and then she’s off to her room to see her friends. My daughter has never had any issues with the food served at nursery which is all prepared fresh on site.

My son started here at nine months, the staff were brilliant with helping him settle in, his keyworker has built a lovely bond with him and is really informative about how my son is getting on. I am impressed by the fact they have sports and Spanish coaches in the older years, which is why our son went here. I love the fact they have various different activities and outdoor space, my son is so happy when he sees the sign when arriving at nursery. They really care about the children. The selection of food is really nutritious. Would definitely recommend it.

Our daughter has attended for nearly two years now, and the staff have always been great with her. She has a great bond with them all and thoroughly enjoys her time there. Loves the food, especially the homemade curry (a recipe we are yet to replicate!) Regularly updated via an app as to how her day is going, it is comforting to know she is safe and having loads of fun. What more can a parent want.

My son loves this nursery. The staff are always professional and friendly and are extremely flexible to help with his needs and requirements. I feel they help develop him whilst also making the day fun.

I would recommend Busy Bees 100% to anyone looking for a nursery. All the staff are amazing with the children and go above and beyond for each and every one of them. My oldest boy was there from 2 years to just starting school last month and my youngest started in June at 10 months old. I never have any worries about him being there as the staff are so caring towards him. They have both come on so much from being there and love being at nursery. Another plus point is they use a parent log which is online and updated multiple times per day so you can see what they have eaten, how they have slept and what they have been doing. It’s a great tool that really puts my mind at ease and I love seeing photos of them enjoying themselves.

My little boy always enjoys his days at nursery and the activities they do are quite varied and he often has a painting/picture to bring home. There are regular updates/photos and feedback on the app to show things he has been doing. It’s nice to read how his day is going whilst at work and see what he’s eating. His key workers have always been friendly.

This nursery is absolutely fantastic.

They do such a variety of things with the children and have nice meals (I can testify when he's come home early and they sent his dinner home with him). The children all leave with smiles on their faces come the end of the day and there is genuine affection between them all. My son has thoroughly enjoyed it so far and has a fantastic bond with numerous members of staff. He will be lost when the time comes to go to reception.

Our little boy has been attending Busy Bees at Barr’s Court for coming up to a year now. We’re really pleased that we decided to choose this nursery. The staff are great - really friendly, attentive and supportive. He really enjoys his days at nursery and is always happy there. The pick up and drop off is easy and plenty of space for parking. The menu choices are great and well balanced, we think the chef might be his favourite member of staff after his key people!! We felt that the team have managed the coronavirus situation and return to nursery really well and we’re amazed at how quickly he settled back in after a few months off. Definitely recommend!

Our 22-month-old daughter absolutely loves going to Busy Bees at Bristol Barr’s Court. All of the staff are brilliant with her and it’s clear that they really care and invest the time, energy, resources and care into each child. Our daughter enjoys new and enriching experiences and relationships and the communication between nursery staff, carers and the parents is regular and informative focussed on the child’s continuing development. Makes dropping our child off at nursery not only guilt-free but actually like we are doing some positive for her well being and that she enjoys. Well done and thank you to all the staff, especially with all the extra hard work and effort you’ve had to put in to keep everyone safe and happy during Covid.

Love this nursery, my little one loves going, always big smiles at drop off and pick ups. The staff are lovely and have lots of measures in place to reassure parents that children are safe. They have outside space and lots of different resources inside. Highly recommend!

All I can say is that I am very happy to have my son in these very good hands! I truly recommend Busy Bees Barrs Court!

So what can I say as a negative? Well, I have massive food envy when I see what has been published for her lunch/tea. As I sit there eating my sorry looking sandwich, I am a little bit bitter that she is having a way more interesting lunch! They can get her to eat things that I can never get her to eat at home.

My daughter has built great relationships with the staff and I know that she will miss them after leaving for school, as will I.
