Partou 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery & Pre school in Frampton Cotterell provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set in a beautiful converted cottage with spacious playrooms and fabulous gardens with natural green areas, a large sandpit, climbing equipment, a slide, planting patches and shaded areas. The children also have access to their own allotment, which was given to 100 Acre Wood by the local parish council.

Children at the nursery enjoy a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including communication, physical development, and expressive art and design.

100 Acre Wood's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The nursery provides delicious and healthy meals and snacks, providing children with a wonderful nutritionally balanced diet.

Brilliant nursery, staff are super friendly and attentive to the children, they look after the children to the absolute best of their abilities and I couldn't ask for more from them. My child is always happy, safe and that's all I can ever ask for.

The staff are all friendly, my boys have and still enjoy going to nursery. The food provided is varied and allows my children to explore food I may not cook at home. The outside areas are really good and are used in all weathers.

At 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery, the manager and the team are truly fantastic!
My son has come on leaps and bounds since attending!
My son is in the baby room and all the girls that I have come into contact with are so welcoming when I have had to do any drop-offs or collections,
Sleeps, food and
general well-being are always reported back to me!
Also, the learning book updates me fantastically with photographs and development milestones! Keep up the good work!

A really great nursery, we recently moved and the children joined towards the end of the 2022 year. We have received such a warm welcome from all staff, the children settled in really well in both toddler and pre-school rooms. Seeing both our children so happy to go in the morning and excited to tell
us about their day when they come home has been a huge relief!
Our youngest has always needed a bit more reassurance when she is exploring new surroundings; within the first twenty minutes of our first settling session at the nursery, she was already cuddling a member of staff and joining in with other children on a baking activity! I was still in the room as this was the first settling session but she totally ignored me and it was great to see.
Our eldest, in pre-school, has made lots of new friends and knows all staff members by their first names. He is always telling us how much he loves pre-school which again is great to hear!

I pick up my grandson twice a week from the nursery and I find the staff friendly, approachable and always happy. I know my grandson is well looked after and is always so happy when he comes out. Staff know what he’s done, what he’s eaten, how he’s slept on and at pick up I always get a good report
to tell his mum when I take him home. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

Our twin daughters are so happy at this nursery. They have been at 100 Acre Wood for 3.5 months and have settled in really well. This is testament to the lovely staff who take such great care of them. It’s been a strange time for them to start nursery, after spending most of their first year without
contact with other people and we weren’t sure how they would adapt, but they are so happy to attend and are always incredibly chatty and babble away to each other when they come out at the end of the day. The team are knowledgeable, friendly and interested in what our girls are up to when they’re not at nursery and we feel they are in the best possible hands when we leave them. The girls love the different activities they take part in at nursery and we appreciate the updates we get, to let us know what they’ve been up to and how this relates to their learning and development. I would absolutely recommend the nursery.

Our daughter currently attends 100-Acre Wood and after a turbulent year being in and out of another nursery due to sickness, we were slightly nervous about putting her into another one. However, we have no need to be, from the moment go the manager and her team have been nothing but professional, friendly
and made my daughter and us feel like part of the family. She comes home every day afterwards buzzing, excited to tell us about her day and I can’t tell you how happy that makes us. The food menu is healthy and my daughter eats it all every day she goes! The amount of thought they put into the sessions is amazing and I can highly recommend them. My second daughter is due to start next year and I’m sure she will enjoy it just as much.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. From the moment I enquired about availability and looked around, I knew my child would be in safe hands. Every staff member is friendly, approachable and welcoming. My child has developed so much in the short time they have been going there. I am confident when
I walk away each day that she will have a great experience. No two days are the same. Unique imaginative creative activities are always on the agenda. I love the learning book updates - being able to see what the children are up to always makes me smile. The end of day handovers is informative and thorough. My child has a big smile at drop off and is sad to leave. I am so glad they will have a few more years here to develop with such a lovely team.

We are very happy with the standard of care provided to our son at 100 Acre Wood. We moved to the village when he was two years old, so had to move him from his old nursery (where he was very settled) - the staff were warm and caring, and helped him to settle in very quickly. Six months later, we were
in COVID lockdown... during which he turned three, so once the nursery re-opened, he was due to go back to the Pre-School room (having previously been in the Toddler room). The staff handled his transition amazingly, despite the many government restrictions. The managers have always been quick to respond to queries, and keen to help wherever possible. All the staff who work/have worked with our son (in both rooms) have been lovely, really warm and friendly. We always get a good update at the end of each day which is nice, so we know what he's been up to, what he's eaten, any problems, how he's been that day, etc. He goes into nursery very happily every morning! Definitely recommend.

This nursery has been brilliant over the last year. They are so on the ball with everything. The new management and staff in place are amazing. My son loves going to this nursery and they have helped him develop so much.
With all the new rules in place, I feel safe knowing my son is in great hands.
They are friendly and are excellent at communicating with parents. The observations get completed and sent for parents to look at frequently and you always feel in the loop with what’s happening.
The staff and management work great together and they all know and take on board children’s needs and have built a brilliant relationship with my son. It’s a safe, happy, well-led place for any child.

My little boy is 3 and a half and is enjoying his time here. He took a while to adjust to being away from home but now loves going and enjoys the variation in activities and often joins in with activities he wouldn’t try at home, such as painting or drawing. Attendance has really helped his interaction
with his peers and his confidence.
Would highly recommend the teachers and the pre- school room!
