Partou 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery & Pre school

I feel like the staff really understand my daughter (even though she only goes for one and a half days) and are always looking for ways to stimulate her and develop her interests. She has some lovely relationships with them and I always feel she is in great hands when I drop her off.

Our eldest, in pre-school, has made lots of new friends and knows all staff members by their first names. He is always telling us how much he loves pre-school which again is great to hear!

Also, the learning book updates me fantastically with photographs and development milestones! Keep up the good work!

The staff are all friendly, my boys have and still enjoy going to nursery. The food provided is varied and allows my children to explore food I may not cook at home. The outside areas are really good and are used in all weathers.

Our child feels happy and safe.

I pick up my grandson twice a week from the nursery and I find the staff friendly, approachable and always happy. I know my grandson is well looked after and is always so happy when he comes out. Staff know what he’s done, what he’s eaten, how he’s slept on and at pick up I always get a good report to tell his mum when I take him home. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

Our twin daughters are so happy at this nursery. They have been at 100 Acre Wood for 3.5 months and have settled in really well. This is testament to the lovely staff who take such great care of them. It’s been a strange time for them to start nursery, after spending most of their first year without contact with other people and we weren’t sure how they would adapt, but they are so happy to attend and are always incredibly chatty and babble away to each other when they come out at the end of the day. The team are knowledgeable, friendly and interested in what our girls are up to when they’re not at nursery and we feel they are in the best possible hands when we leave them. The girls love the different activities they take part in at nursery and we appreciate the updates we get, to let us know what they’ve been up to and how this relates to their learning and development. I would absolutely recommend the nursery.

Our daughter currently attends 100-Acre Wood and after a turbulent year being in and out of another nursery due to sickness, we were slightly nervous about putting her into another one. However, we have no need to be, from the moment go the manager and her team have been nothing but professional, friendly and made my daughter and us feel like part of the family. She comes home every day afterwards buzzing, excited to tell us about her day and I can’t tell you how happy that makes us. The food menu is healthy and my daughter eats it all every day she goes! The amount of thought they put into the sessions is amazing and I can highly recommend them. My second daughter is due to start next year and I’m sure she will enjoy it just as much.

I cannot rate this nursery highly enough. From the moment I enquired about availability and looked around, I knew my child would be in safe hands. Every staff member is friendly, approachable and welcoming. My child has developed so much in the short time they have been going there. I am confident when I walk away each day that she will have a great experience. No two days are the same. Unique imaginative creative activities are always on the agenda. I love the learning book updates - being able to see what the children are up to always makes me smile. The end of day handovers is informative and thorough. My child has a big smile at drop off and is sad to leave. I am so glad they will have a few more years here to develop with such a lovely team.

My son is very happy at the nursery, great staff who are very caring with the children. He looks forward to going, which is great because as a parent it means you know he is in capable and safe hands. He will be sad when he has to leave for school.

The staff at 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery are exceptional. They are friendly, welcoming and would do anything to support the development and nourishment for the children. I am 100% confident that my child has a wonderful time and encouraged to see how well they are developing. As my child will be a young 4-year-old starting school next year and I have no doubt that with the staff’s support they will be more than ready.

We are very happy with the standard of care provided to our son at 100 Acre Wood. We moved to the village when he was two years old, so had to move him from his old nursery (where he was very settled) - the staff were warm and caring, and helped him to settle in very quickly. Six months later, we were in COVID lockdown... during which he turned three, so once the nursery re-opened, he was due to go back to the Pre-School room (having previously been in the Toddler room). The staff handled his transition amazingly, despite the many government restrictions. The managers have always been quick to respond to queries, and keen to help wherever possible. All the staff who work/have worked with our son (in both rooms) have been lovely, really warm and friendly. We always get a good update at the end of each day which is nice, so we know what he's been up to, what he's eaten, any problems, how he's been that day, etc. He goes into nursery very happily every morning! Definitely recommend.

The staff and management work great together and they all know and take on board children’s needs and have built a brilliant relationship with my son. It’s a safe, happy, well-led place for any child.

Would highly recommend the teachers and the pre- school room!

I am so happy I chose 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery for my little girl when we moved to the area. She absolutely loves it. All the staff are so friendly and really welcoming. Since starting at the nursery my little one has come on in leaps and bounds. Such a confident and bright little girl. I would highly recommend.
