Partou 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery & Pre school in Frampton Cotterell provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set in a beautiful converted cottage with spacious playrooms and fabulous gardens with natural green areas, a large sandpit, climbing equipment, a slide, planting patches and shaded areas. The children also have access to their own allotment, which was given to 100 Acre Wood by the local parish council.

Children at the nursery enjoy a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including communication, physical development, and expressive art and design.

100 Acre Wood's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The nursery provides delicious and healthy meals and snacks, providing children with a wonderful nutritionally balanced diet.

We've had one son complete his time at the nursery and move on to school, while our younger son is still attending. Throughout, we've been consistently impressed by the care, compassion, and professionalism of the staff at 100 Acre. The team truly cares about the children, and both of our boys have
flourished there. Our sons enjoy all the messy play and especially love spending time in the gardens - perfect for two energetic boys! The staff take the time to understand each child's personality, which has helped our boys really thrive in this nurturing environment.

We've had the pleasure of being part of Partou 100 Acre Wood for nearly two and a half years, and we can't praise them enough! From first impressions, we loved the intimate setting, smaller groups and warm, home-from-home feel with natural decor and wooden toys etc. This atmosphere is reflected in the
care - it truly feels like a family. Every staff member, regardless of room, knows and greets your child by name. They're friendly, approachable and always make time to listen, no matter how many questions or things you want to talk about at handover. Both our children naturally have different personalities and the team tunes into them beautifully. We love seeing updates on the app showing what they enjoy and how they're developing - we've loved the recent art opportunities! We also appreciate how dedicated the team is to improving practice - the updated outdoor area is a great example. The staff are a real credit to the nursery - caring, professional and genuinely passionate.

My son has attended 100 acre wood for a year after moving to the local area. He was settled into toddler room really well and the staff are fantastic and engaging. He is now in pre school and loves going in 3 x a week. His little sister has just started in the baby room. The baby room staff have been

It is my son's last day at nursery today and I can honestly say this nursery has been fantastic. The wonderful staff have put me at ease every morning knowing that my child is safe in their care. Our 2 children attend 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery and we couldn't be happier with the experience.
The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to make each child feel happy and safe. Staff turnover is very low, which helps with building strong relationships with the children. The team set up activities
that keep the children engaged and challenged, often following the lead of the children's interests that week e.g. space or animal-themed activities.
The setting feels very homely and the facilities are great. The outdoor space is fantastic (particularly for tiring out my energetic 4 year old!) and the children get to spend lots of time in the fresh air.
The food at the nursery is great - healthy and has lots of variety.

We have always been very happy with Partou 100 Acre Wood Nursery. Both of our children joined at different ages and at all times staff worked hard to make them happy comfortable and safe. We have been very happy with the facilities, current management, and safeguarding.
Our kids come home happy and
tired after each day at nursery and we can't ask for more than that.
The learning is also very good as we notice they are constantly being challenged in a good way and showing new skills.

I have two boys who attend this setting, so I can speak for both toddler and preschool rooms, the older of my boys has been at the nursery for two years now and is about to start primary school this September! The girls are nothing short of incredible, kind caring and friendly. Two members of staff
in particular in the toddler room go above and beyond to ensure children and parents feel safe and welcomed and well informed. Upstairs in the toddler room, we have three of the staff who are lovely and so many more. My boys go off to nursery every morning happy to see the girls, they always have a vast range of activities to do with the children and I'm always well informed at the end of the day and even during the day via the app. I will always recommend this nursery to people in my area. I'm very grateful to the team for looking after my boys as if they were their own, it really does ease your mind to know they're so well looked after.

My little girl has been attending 100 Acre Wood since she was 9 months old. She is now 18 months old and she really is thriving! She has grown in confidence and developed so many new skills which we get to see at home. The staff are so friendly and I am confident leaving my daughter in safe and caring
hands! I cannot praise this nursery enough and am so happy we chose this nursery. A special mention to the home-cooked meals, I am often being told my little girl has had two or more portions!

My little girl has been attending 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery since June 2021 and absolutely loves the staff and the activities she takes part in.
She has such a lovely bond with her key person and I always feel at ease when leaving her in the morning. I receive a lovely handover at the end of her sessions
and am often presented with photos of her enjoying her time within the nursery environment. My little girl loves being outdoors and with 100 Acre Wood having great outdoor facilities she is able to fulfil her enjoyment.
Overall, all staff are friendly and the nursery always has lovely activities set up throughout the setting which you can see all children enjoying and thriving from.

Since our boy was seven months old, we felt it was important for him to have early years development. Over the last couple of years he has developed amazingly through 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery, you can even see it week by week. I often worry about his food variation at home, but am comfortable knowing
he gets the best healthy meals day in, day out, throughout the week! He loves all the activities and staff at 100 Acre Wood.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 7 months old, he's now reaching 2 and a half and he is thriving! He absolutely loves the staff and the nursery and his development really showcases when he is at home. He loves the fact he can choose the 'front' or 'back' garden and going to nursery each day

100 Acre Wood Day Nursery has been nothing but amazing for our family. My daughter loves attending the nursery. The staff are amazing and it is so nice to feel I am leaving my child in the safest hands. They have supported my daughter from a baby and even when her sister was born made sure this was
included in her day by speaking about her. Cannot praise this nursery high enough. What a lovely place for my child to develop.

This is such a welcoming nursery and preschool. Both of my children have started in the baby room and stayed all the way up to starting school. It's so lovely that they can cater for all of these stages under one roof as the children really get to know the setting and the staff and moving rooms is a
less stressful transition for the children.
My daughter has struggled with leaving us after all of the Covid disruptions but the staff at 100 Acre Wood Day Nursery have always been so warm, patient and caring with her (and me!) and she now really enjoys going in. She has made lots of friends and we hear lots about her day both from the staff at pick-up and from my daughter on the walk home!
I feel like the staff really understand my daughter (even though she only goes for one and a half days) and are always looking for ways to stimulate her and develop her interests. She has some lovely relationships with them and I always feel she is in great hands when I drop her off.

The staff look after our toddler well. He was going through a clingy phase and struggled to settle but the staff there do their best to get him settled.
We feel our child is in safe hands. We are very happy with the nursery and will not hesitate to recommend them.
