Like all Busy Bees facilities, Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is a safe environment that offers extensive play opportunities for children, staffed by qualified professionals who look to work with parents to help their child get the best possible start in life.

This secure facility has benefited from a thorough refurbishment which makes the most of a spacious interior. Toddler and pre-school rooms are open plan, there is a small, cosy baby room and a large garden area.

The nursery team like to start the day off in a healthy and positive manner with a ‘Wake and Shake’ dance routine, while another popular extra curricular activity is ‘Kinder Musik’, both of which are based on researched methods shown to suit early years development.

My son has been going to Busy Bees since he was a year old (he is now 2 and a half). I cannot thank them enough for everything they do for him. His speech, behaviour and general development have come on leaps and bounds. All staff are very friendly and take the time to speak and explain everything to
me. I am made to feel welcome every day I enter the nursery and feel my son and all the other children are treated individually. I can't fault Busy Bees and would recommend other parents!

My 3-year-old daughter was having anxiety about moving from the toddler room into pre-school and throughout January 2017 we had tears or tantrums before going in them morning. After a fantastic and positive chat with the nursery manager a sticker chart was created with all her favourite characters and
every morning she came in and let us go to work with no fuss she would get a sticker. From day one this has worked and I cannot thank the staff, especially the manager enough for their support.

The nursery has always been very supportive and welcoming for my daughter. I have never felt uncomfortable leaving her at nursery. My daughter has grown confidence and this is hugely due to the hard work and dedication by all the staff. All are very experienced and professional. The facilities are also
fantastic allowing for a varied level of learning. Very pleased! The food is also great can't get my daughter to eat at home but happily eats at the nursery.

My daughter started at Busy Bees Bradley Stoke in 2013 and my son in 2015. Throughout the time they have been there the staff have been so good with them and I have always felt so happy leaving them there knowing they are going to be looked after so well and have so much fun.

By coming off of daily child-minder, I knew day nursery will be a new challenge for our son.
After few months this turned out to be a real success so far. My son was a fussy eater and having such a good variety of meals has helped him to eat properly. Now our son is asking us to cook him such and such
dish!
Staff are always nice and friendly and my son seems to be respecting people around him. Every day, he explains to us "what was on" in the nursery and he is really happy to come back to the nursery every day.
I think big thumbs up to the pre-school staff and other members of staff for all good work.

Current Review Score: 8.6 (8.607)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.6 (8.607) out of 10 for Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.681 for Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is calculated as follows: ( (49 Excellents x 5) + (23 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.681
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.926 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 92 number of registered child places is 18.4. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 18.4 = 0.326
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
