Like all Busy Bees facilities, Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is a safe environment that offers extensive play opportunities for children, staffed by qualified professionals who look to work with parents to help their child get the best possible start in life.

This secure facility has benefited from a thorough refurbishment which makes the most of a spacious interior. Toddler and pre-school rooms are open plan, there is a small, cosy baby room and a large garden area.

The nursery team like to start the day off in a healthy and positive manner with a ‘Wake and Shake’ dance routine, while another popular extra curricular activity is ‘Kinder Musik’, both of which are based on researched methods shown to suit early years development.

We love this nursery! The staff is phenomenal and does such a great job nurturing all of the kids. Our oldest has recently moved on to reception but still comes to collect his younger sibling and they all still make him feel so special and like a mini-celebrity! Our youngest adores all of his room staff
and is always happy to go - the outdoor space is particularly great for him as he loves to be outdoors and the staff are happy to accommodate this. We moved further from nursery and elected to keep him at this nursery as nothing compared. Communication is well done and timely, management is truly excellent. We'll be sad when it's time to leave.

Busy Bees Bradley Stoke has been amazing over the past three years caring for my daughter. It was a very rocky start due to my daughter being born during the lockdown period and not having much interaction with others but all the staff were kind, patient and empathetic and helped us, as parents, through
it too. We've had a few managers now at the Bradley Stoke setting, not all great, but I feel this has been identified quickly and resolved with a new manager coming in to help make things better. The manager, as of August 2024, has been fantastic and you can tell that the staff are much happier too.
Nursery has done wonders for my daughter and to see her progression over these years has been amazing. I wouldn't doubt to recommend to friends or family and my son will be starting next week.

Our daughter went to Busy Bees Bradley Stoke for three years and we cannot recommend it enough.
She has been really happy here and loved all the staff. We have seen so much progression each week, especially during preschool in preparation for starting reception. She will miss the nursery and the staff
lots!

My little one has been attending this nursery since 10 months old and she is 4 years old now. All these years she had attended them full time and every single day in these years she had been looking forward to going which says a lot about how she loves the place and how well the staff take care of them.
The staff are very friendly and each group have their own indoor spaces. The staff give us a lot of information about how they went about in the day when we pick them up at end of the day. Besides we get to see a lot of pictures from adult-led activities or role plays that the kids had done throughout the day. The nursery has a big enough garden with spaces segregated for different age groups with fencing to protect them. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for a nursery around Bradley Stoke and Patchway to make a visit to see for yourself.

We have 2 girls in Busy Bees Bradley Stoke and I am so glad they have the chance to attend such a mindful setting. The staff are really helpful, teach them kind and mindful behaviour while always being patient and explaining things, they are so talented, and also always come up with loads of activities
to help them develop. I am so impressed by everything the girls learn there, behaviour as well as skills, and they always run there without even pausing to say goodbye hahaha!

Both of my daughters have attended Busy Bees Bradley Stoke, my youngest is currently in the 1-2’s room and will be transitioning to the toddler room soon. Both my girls have loved Busy Bees and as parents, we have been very happy with the setting. The staff are very friendly and treat the children like
their own. They arrange lovely, age-appropriate activities and my girls have always had lots of fun when at nursery. The setting provides a very caring environment as well as regular updates during the day through their app so that you are always informed about your child and their well-being.
I would highly recommend Busy Bees Bradley Stoke!

The staff at the nursery have been consistently amazing for the nearly two year that my child had been attending the setting. They are friendly, opening and professional and my child has grown a deep attachment to her key person and the garden! Throughout the pandemic I have been kept informed and I
feel my child has been kept safe and secure, whilst still being able to play and enjoy her time spent there. My child has developed fantastically and always comes back enthusiastic and tired from a day spent learning and exploring. She especially enjoys the food of which she regularly eats second portions! The nursery has been supportive and available through what could have been a very stressful time and I could not give any suggestions for further improvements, I would recommend the nursery in a heartbeat.

I am so impressed with the level of care my daughter receives at Busy Bees Nursery. All the staff are welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic. My child has built strong bonds with all the staff. All the activities are well planned and engaging and all the staff are attentive to her needs and give thorough
feedback at pickup when the day finishes at nursery. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Busy Bees at Bradley Stoke! I especially like the nursery manager, she is commendable in her role, holding up all the staff together. I am full-time QA and can work carefree as I know my daughter is safe and learning as well as enjoying at Busy Bees. Thank you for all you do! Please keep doing. You guys are fantastic!!

Busy Bees in Bradley Stoke have been like our second family. My son's development has been supported by all of the staff and he just loves being there with his friends and the staff.
They listen and take on suggestions proactively and have the well-being of the children at their hearts.
My son has
been going there since he was 9 months old and he is now thriving (nearly) 3 year old! Thank you to you all.

My 3-year-old son has attended Busy Bees since the age of 10 months and he loves it!

All of the staff are amazing and have had a huge positive impact on my son's development. Over his time spent at the nursery, he has made strong bonds with members of staff who are all so caring and encouraging.

The nursery itself is always clean and well kept with excellent facilities, has a lovely garden area with play equipment which my son really enjoys exploring, the food is always varied and healthy and I am always updated on how well he has eaten throughout the day and his daily activities.

Could not be happier with Busy Bees :)

My son has been going to this nursery since he was about 9 months old and I can not recommend this nursery high enough. It is always so clean and welcoming. My son has progressed from the babies room to 1 to 2's and is now in toddlers (nearly preschool!) and with every room, the staff have been outstanding.
He has developed so much and the activities he takes part in are always engaging for him. I can not describe how it feels knowing how happy my son feels going to Busy Bees Nursery. He runs in happily and has made many friends. The staff are also wonderful when I pick him up giving lots of information on what he's had to eat, his nappy changes, his sleep and all the wonderful things that he's done that day.

I'll admit at first I was very nervous taking him to nursery but now I can say 100% I wouldn't change a thing. Busy Bees in Bradley Stoke has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Nursery is very clean and has lots of space for little ones to move in. Garden is very big and sunny and allows children to spend lots of time outside. Food is various and healthy, my son usually likes it and has plenty. Sometimes activities (especially crafts) can be a little too monotonous but my
son appears to like going to nursery a lot and he is very happy there.

My daughter has only been going for a short amount of time. The staff are amazing and every day give me an update on things she's done, who her friends for the day has been. The staff ask how she's been in the morning before I drop her off, very caring. They are so good with her as she's often upset
when I leave her and then she goes on to have the best mornings, playing and learning.

Our daughter has recently increased her hours at the nursery temporarily from 2 full days to 4-5 full days a week. We have noticed a huge improvement in the following skills - Speech, social interaction, knowledge of shapes, more confidence int he alphabet, emotional awareness. We feel this is hugely
due to the engagement and encouragement from nursery staff, surrounded by her peers.

Huge thanks to the staff for their obvious enthusiasm, professionalism and support of our daughter.

The nursery has been brilliant for both our children over the last 5 years, always very helpful and professional staff. They always endeavour to help resolve any issues whether small or just general enquiries. The nursery has of late gone through a major refurbishment, which now can boast some of the
best facilities for young children. Overall myself and my wife have thoroughly enjoyed our children attending the nursery.

Current Review Score: 8.6 (8.607)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.6 (8.607) out of 10 for Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.9 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.681 for Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is calculated as follows: ( (49 Excellents x 5) + (23 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 72 Ratings = 4.681
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.926 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Bradley Stoke is based on 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 = 3.6
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 92 number of registered child places is 18.4. 6 Positive Reviews ÷ 18.4 = 0.326
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
