Partou Hawkesbury Road Day Nursery & Pre-School

Friendly staff, have been excellent during the pandemic, making our children feel safe and cared for even when I'm sure some of the staff have been anxious. Always professional and smiling. Thanks for being a constant in a strange world right now!

Having come to this nursery myself (albeit a long time ago under different management), I was keen for my children to attend too. We have had nothing but great experiences here so far and our daughter adores her sessions. We are so grateful that the manager has been very understanding and supportive around our decisions to keep our daughter out of nursery amid the covid crisis, and can’t wait for her to return when the time is right. Thank you to the wonderful team.

A brilliant nursery - so happy our child goes there and is so happy. The staff are so caring and knowledgeable and the activities they do are brilliant for the children. Our daughter loves it there and sometimes I think they would prefer to stay at pick up! Our daughter also has dietary requirements which they have adapted to carefully and easily. Very good value and great communication with parents too.

My daughter is always happy to spend the afternoon at One The Nursery Fishponds. The staff are really friendly, there is a large play area in the garden and children are spending their time being active. I'm really glad about the way they take care of my daughter.

This is a nice local nursery. The staff are very friendly and professional, they are all-inclusive, so quite convenient for working parents. My little girl is happy there. I would recommend this nursery.

He moved from toddler to preschool with ease and had a few key members of staff who helped our son to blossom. He feels safe and secure with them, and I feel safe in the knowledge that they are looking after him. His speech has come along and with updates in the online resource, learning book I see all the fun and stimulating things they are up to. The only downside to the nursery is it hasn’t the biggest outside space, but it’s still enough for them to have fun. Racial diversity is a very important factor for us as a biracial family and what I love is how inclusive and representative of the diverse community.

My son really enjoys attending this nursery. He loves all the staff and gets excited when we pull up. He always comes home tired and happy having done lots of fun things. He eats all his food up too, so it must be good!

Our son has been going to One nursery in Fishponds since late August. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the right place for him to go - the staff were so friendly, happily answered our questions and took the time to take us through everything. And the staff are still like that now, giving us lots of info when we pick him up at the end of the day.

It really is a home from home atmosphere. The rooms are large and bright, the outdoor space secure and lots of variety of toys. The app we get updates via isn't as good as some nurseries, but to be honest, now we've settled into our routine, we don't really need to know the number of nappies he's had etc as some other apps have!

Our son absolutely loves going to nursery, we've noticed so many advancements from his imaginary play to be able to spoon-feed himself. We're really happy with everything.

Warm, welcoming and friendly. My child has thrived since his start aged 6 months. Staff really care about your child and go the extra mile. Wide variety of activities and adapted if your child has an interest in something.

Now I'm very satisfied with it.

I'm a naturally anxious mum, but the staff at the nursery have always made me feel extremely at ease when caring for both my children over the years. They are attentive and sensitive to the children's needs, but they give structure, learning, and life guidance to help the children nurture into lovely little people ready for their school life. I would highly recommend to other parents.

5 Stars. My child joined The Nursery in Fishponds a year and a half ago. She was very shy to start with, but the staff were so brilliant with her that she soon fitted in and looked forward to her days there. Sometimes when she was at home, she’d be disappointed that she wasn’t going to Nursery that day! The change into a confident happy little girl has been lovely to watch and I’m so grateful to all the staff. She will particularly miss one staff member in particular who she had a special bond with. I’d recommend One The Nursery to anyone.
