My son absolutely loves this nursery and so do I, all the staff are amazing, very friendly, always chatty and sociable! Also very helpful with anything you need! Would definitely recommend to any family and friends!

My son has attended this nursery since he was 21 months old and he will be four in May. Everyone has supported his learning and progression through the different stages and rooms he has been in (babies to toddlers and now pre-school). Following some staff changes, in my opinion, the team now work well
together and the support the nursery has received from Storal has been amazing. I will be sad to say goodbye to everyone when my son starts primary school in September and I know he will be too.

The nursery went through difficult times, and we all had to contribute/compromise in a way whilst they were getting back on track, but it seems like this is now behind us. The new manager is a lovely person, very proactive and positive, and you can feel that every staff member has the same mindset and
is willing to do his best to make this nursery a great place. It's just a few minutes walk from our home, so we feel very privileged to have a place there.
Our daughter loves it and has really bonded with the staff and the other children. She's developed a lot since she first started and just moved to the 2-year-old room; the transition has been very smooth.
The garden is great, and it feels like children spend time outside as much as possible, English weather permitting. We don't try the food, and our child is not a big eater, but the food seems satisfactory; what I can tell is that the staff worked on several strategies to have our daughter eat as much as possible, so well done, them!

A shocking experience with Storal Learning in recent months following an inadequate Ofsted inspection. Please look online for the report and see how the children and parents were let down by the management team at Storal. The way they then dealt with a reduction in a number of hours and children was
appalling and very stressful for parents and difficult for children. Ultimately it could have been avoided or rolled out much better than it was. Many parents have had to find alternatives with little to no notice. I would be careful to check what management company is involved with any nursery and if it is Storal Learning I would suggest you avoid.

Our son has been in all 3 rooms, and the one thing that had been a constant is the amazing attitude and dedication from the staff.
We hear of amazing activities every day from our son, and there is always great communication from staff on handovers.
The food menu is great and our son eats everything

My son has been going to this nursery since March 2021. At that time, he was 3-year-old. It was a difficult and stressful time for my son, as we migrated from Hong Kong to the UK only a few months in late December 2020. We had gone through a lot of changes during that period of time. English is not
our first language, and our son is quite shy and does not speak a lot. So, we were really worried that he cannot mingle with other children due to the language barrier.
Indeed, we found that he has settled well at the nursery quickly and made friends. His social skills improved. He enjoyed learning and playing at school. The staff members are all attentive and nice. We had a lot of good and practical advice on parenting and potty training. We knew what had happened at school as the management email us regularly. When it was not a school day, my son sometimes talked about the brothers and sisters that he missed. We are very thankful that we have chosen the right school for our son.

Our daughter started at Honeytree Day Nursery & Pre-School - Bristol in February 2021 at 10 months old and she has been going there for a year now. She loves going to nursery. She always has such fun doing all sorts of activities and enjoys the messy play. She has already built wonderful friendships.
In the early days going to nursery really helped with her eating and socialisation. Born at the beginning of Covid she had barely interacted with other children or other adults so we were worried how she would be, but we need not have worried. The staff create such a welcoming and supportive environment that she was happy and content from day 1.
A year on she is so happy and bursting with excitement after a great day at nursery. Her speech is coming on amazingly as well and that’s in part due to being at nursery. She walks confidently in every day. The facilities are brilliant, with lots of toys which are kept clean and in good condition.
We couldn’t be happier with Honeytree and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

We are really happy with Honeytree Day Nursery & Pre-School - Bristol our daughter loves going there. All the staff are so friendly. They also provide delicious sounding meals and fun, educational, and varied activities. Our daughter might be understanding what volcanoes are, or doing yoga, all in one
day! The nursery are also very good at updating us on what's going on and how our daughter is doing. All in all we're really glad we made the decision to send our daughter there!

My son has been going to Honeytree Day Nursery & Pre-School - Bristol since he was 9 months and is now approaching 3. He loves going and has such good relationships with the staff. They always provide lovely handovers when I pick him up and make me feel he is really cared for and they enjoy having him.

My little girl has been going to this nursery for nearly 6 months and she loves it. She settled in really quickly and is excited to go in the mornings which is a credit to the staff and how well she is looked after. I also love that she’s so well fed throughout the day, they’re eating almost every 2
hours! I’m kept well informed using their parent electronic platform, I know what she’s eaten, how long she has slept and exactly what has happened with her nappies. I always look forward to the observations each week with photos and a little caption as to what activity she’s been up to. As far as nurseries go I think Honeytree is so well priced and I have recommended them to others.

My son has been attending the Honeytree Nursery since September 2017. He absolutely loves the Honeytree and has made so many great friends. The staff are excellent and have made his time there enjoyable. They are great with any queries we have had and are always really helpful. The staff have always

My daughter used this as an afterschool club, attached to Filton Avenue Orchard School. She really liked the staff and loved playing in the garden. All the kids played really nicely together, in a lovely outdoor space. The afterschool club room had loads of books and crafting activities and was a really

Hello, my name is Lorraine Doyle and I joined Storal in 2024. My journey as an Early Years Manager here has been incredibly rewarding, filled with opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. From the moment I arrived, my focus has been on creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn.


I’m really proud of how I’ve been able to strengthen our educational provision by embedding Storal’s fantastic curriculum into our daily practice. I’ve worked closely with the team to refresh our planning and observation systems, making sure everything we do is child-led and tailored to each child’s individual interests and developmental needs. It’s such a privilege to watch the children flourish and see the positive impact of our work every day.


Supporting and developing my team is something I care deeply about. I love helping practitioners build their confidence and seeing them feel proud of the progress their children make. There’s nothing better than witnessing those special moments between staff and children when learning truly comes to life.


I’m also passionate about building strong relationships with our families and creating a real sense of community within our setting. Whether it’s through family events, stay-and-play sessions, or community projects, it’s wonderful to see families connect and feel part of our nursery family.


Over the years, I’ve gained a variety of qualifications that have shaped my approach to early years education, including a BA (Hons) in Education and Professional Practice, a Foundation Degree in Early Years, a Diploma in Montessori, Forest School Level 3, HR Level 3, and SENCO Level 3.


For me, early childhood is one of the most important and precious stages of life. I’m passionate about making sure every child, whatever their background or ability, gets the very best start in a setting where they feel happy, safe, and supported to be themselves. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of that journey.
